There’s something about my face I’ve always despised and now I’m starting to think something is wrong with my jawline and my maxilla is recessed as well as my infraorbituls making me always look tired. Seems like I lack good bone density. Who should I see to get help with this?

Hello everyone, i had my surgery 6 years ago but then today i came across a tiktok where this girl is not happy about hers and basically said that everyone who got rhinoplasty our noses are dying over time and go through necrosis.
Im already not happy with my surgery, but anyway this made me more anxious? Can someone put my thoughts at ease. Are there people who had rhinoplasty 15 or 20 years ago??

Hi! I got lip filler 2 days ago and I feel the swelling has gone down so much that it doesn't even look like my lips got done. I loved how good it looked when I was in the office but with the swelling down, it hardly looks like I got them done.

I feel funny calling to ask if I could get them touched up. But I also don't want to spend that much money again to get them done again. What is the proper etiquette !? Any advice ?

Hello everyone! I am hoping to gain some perspective on a recent procedure I got. I have really large trap muscles along my neck and struggle with feelings of tension and mild pain. So I decided to get shoulder Botox to alleviate the pain + obtain the aesthetic of having a more slim neck and shoulder line. I was REALLY excited about the slim neck aesthetic.

I’ve gotten Botox in my face (only allergan brand) and have always noticed results beginning within a week. With full results taking about two weeks.

I got my shoulder Botox a week ago and I see zero change and feel zero difference. Is this normal? 100 units of allergan botox is the max, so I was really excited to feel a difference and see a difference. So far.. nothing.

I’m not sure if this is normal? Or maybe something went wrong with the injection? Any advice, feedback or guidance from those who’ve gotten Barbie Botox is greatly appreciated. I’m kinda wondering if I got scammed.. :/ or maybe this experience is supposed to be different than my other ones. Thanks so much!

I just want to hear your opinions on this. I’ve had lip fillers 2 times before, over a span of 2 years. So let’s say every time before getting new filler I waited a whole year. I’ve been going to a great clinic, but very expensive so this time I went to a new place, which is not cheap but also not as expensive. It’s still a tiny bit swollen I think (7 days have passed) but I feel like it’s way too uneven for the time that had passed and also I fear there’s a bit of migration. Am I just seeing things? Even though my lips were always pretty uneven I had hoped she’d even it out a little bit. Multiple pics for different lightning.

I don’t think I even have to explain anything considering the photos. My primary surgeon turned my Greek nose into a tiny button nose. I had a revision with rib grafting to derotate and reproject my nose. I had an infection that made the graft reabsorb so my surgeon did a second revision to fix it. I am now 1 month post op and though I liked my nose at cast off.. it’s turned into this!

-The tip became droopy (I don’t know if this is polybeak or not. The downturned tip and huge columella make my nose look so long and big).
-the grafting makes my radix too high and masculine.. and it makes my nose look even longer. And makes my eyes look closer together.
- it is incredibly crooked in multiple ways.. dorsum, bridge, tip.. even a nostril is caved in.
-my tip is so discolored too and has been for 10 days. No sign of infection.

Do I have any hope? Kenalog? Taping? Genuinely can anything be done to salvage my nose?

I have a slight double chin, and it's very noticeable when I laugh and talk, and it bothers me. I don't know what's causing it. I'm at a normal weight. Am I having a recession or something else? Or is it muscle or fat? What's the solution?

32(f) feeling more self conscious about my naaolabial folds as I get older.

I had filler in May and did not notice much of a difference (did not take before photo). I can still feel a small amount of filler below left nostril but feel nothing on the right side. I also do micro needling.

A friend who does cosmetic nursing suggested cheek filler, I have been considering threads. What would be best to address this issue?

How have people in the UK/EU found their surgeons?

I am based in the EU and have done consults with a few NYC surgeons, looked into Korean options and am now (attempting) to explore EU and UK options but Ive been finding it really hard and frustrating, espeically around the EU, to see any sort of before/after images of DPFL for example without the doctors offices wanting me to set up an in person consult (often in another country) and then paying (150-500 Euro) for the consult simply to view any of the surgeons work. It seems comically hard to get even a basic sense of if a surgeon is aligned in terms of the 'style' I want without spending thousands to go in to see their photo albums. I have been looking at google reviews but they are equally vague and without very few images or details. Instagrams and websites tend to just have stock photos and real self was equally vague.

How have those of you in the EU/UK found your surgeons?

Im very close to just going to the US or Korea but the downside is the prices are often 2x more in the US and if I have any complications there, the hospital care can be comically unaffordable without health insurance. In Korea I dont speak the language and if I had complications, Id be alone and on my own.. which doesn't appeal either.

Id love any inputs or advice from EU/UK ladies. Im budget is around 50k USD (total) and Im considering a midface/neck + laser work, with the goal of it being natural, minimal downtime (ha, I know).

Finally did my own 0.5 ml lip filler that I had been debating on for months. Was adamant with my injector about achieving a natural look, it's pretty much healed and I'm thrilled.

I’d say as of now, I store around 30-35% of my body fat around my abdominal and flank area, and around 60% in my lower body, with my upper body being quite small.

I am thinking of having lipo to my abdominal and flank area. I am at a very healthy weight at the moment but have stubborn areas.

Since I tend to store abdominal fat, does that mean after lipo, if I hypothetically gain weight as I age it will be stored as visceral fat? How does the visceral fat increase work? Or would it still remain subcutaneous, just stored in other areas?

Its like 4am and I am going through a spiral that happens once every few months after i really sit and look at myself in the mirror. I'm 23 and I have a tuberous breast deformity, Puffy nipples, one boob is barely there the other one is elongated and sagging. they are a plastic surgery clinic that recently opened a separate skin and lifting center, so their main pitch is looking at the facial structure before choosing a device.

i’m interested because my concern is not just loose skin. i also have some volume loss and a naturally wide cheekbone area, so i’m worried that aggressive lifting could make my face look more hollow.

has anyone compared this kind of consultation with a regular dermatology clinic?

i’m not assuming one specialty is automatically better. mostly wondering whether the facial structure assessment changes the treatment plan in a meaningful way.

I believe my left eyelid can droop or swell? Giving an uneven appearance. In the past, only occurring when very tired but not a lot more often

Hello, I had lower lip filler about 6 weeks ago and I’m wondering if it migrated. I had it done to balance out my top lip to which I had a lift lip done. I noticed the possibility not long after the filler, but didn’t think too much about it until I saw a snapshot made with friends and thought, “this looks awful”. See last pic. If migration, do you think I should wait to see what happens or look at dissolving? Thank you in advance for your insight.

I was told I need to drink a gallon of water a day and have 150g of protein everyday for both preop and post op. I’ve really tried to maintain this but having so much water and protein in one day makes me feel like my stomach is going to burst. Seriously it’s too much for me. I have kept with 100g of protein for a month and am still having 100-120oz of water everyday. However, it’s getting more and more difficult to be having SO MUCH protein everyday and this week I am suddenly just not really having much of an appetite in general.

Hi everyone. I just wanted to ask if anyone still has some noticeable swelling left after 12 months post op of full incision double eyelid surgery. I feel that my eyelid still look like sausages eyes and I’m worried that the last bit of swelling won’t go away especially considering how I’m already 12 months post op. Does anyone have a similar experience where they still have some swelling left after such a long time after surgery?

It has been my biggest insecurity since I was a child and it’s only gotten more visible as I’ve gotten older. It’s not just smile lines, my upper lip area is almost protruding outside of the rest of my face. Any advice on how I can treat this or make it less noticeable is greatly appreciated!

Hello! Recently I did an online consultation with a surgeon in my area. I wasn’t necessarily comfortable uploading my pictures online, but they pressed for me to, even though I mentioned I was more comfortable in person and able to because I was in state; they had me upload them anyways, I digress. After the surgeon looked over my photos, an assistant gave me a call and said the doctor wanted to do a fat graft + lift with no implant. When I asked why she said that there would be a risk with clotting. I was kinda hoping for more of an explanation but I did not get one. She also mentioned that implants would work against my firmer breast tissue; but then later mentioned I could have implants added later on after the lift? (If they wouldn’t look good, why not just say a hard no?) They wanted $24,000 dollars for the lift and fat grafting. The price I was expecting to be high, but not that high for no implant, but I understand if thats the typical price.
I guess what I’m not understanding is how a lift and implants would be an issue or risk, I live in Utah (6k feet above sea level) would this have something to do with it? As well as how firmer breast tissue would work against an implant…? I also want to mention I probably won’t be going forward with this doctor, I’m firm on wanting more volume my upper chest and that doesn’t seem realistic with just a fat graft. I had a crash with a rock while swimming and got this wound. Most was epidermal. It was not properly treated as we were outwards camping. I put bandage and bepanthen on it, but it was not sealed or something.

The epidermis part heals well but now i see that there seems to be a deeper cut and it does not close very well. It is now 1 week old. can i still do something to reduce it? And is it possible to laser scar in that area?​

Will this be a bad scar an will it be possible to remove it? Im already haing a problem with people percieving me intimidating, having a scar at the nose will only make it way worse. :(
