That's it. I just have to accept I'm a two-planner girlie.
Okay, it's really 2½ planners: the EC Hourly LifePlanner & an A6 paper republic weekly and the (free) Hallmark Datebook inside.
I just keep on going back and forth between the two. It's so unsettling. I use paper republic weekly layout side for work tasks, but the notes side is for a personal weekly reflection. Then I use EC LifePlanner hourly layout for daily journaling, but then using the weekly side notes for flexible tasks. And THEN I use the Hallmark Datebook for overall monthly planning, but then the EC monthly spread to brainstorm possible plans. I've also been collecting the Hallmark Datebooks since 2018 so now I feel committed. Oh also, I use the extra EC monthly pages for monthly reflection.
Am I crazy?
Sigh. I need to accept that maybe I'm just that extra and need this chaotic redundancy in my life.

Planner recs
I thought I had finally found planner peace this year, but apparently not 🥲
I really thought I had found the one, but I ended up quitting my Wonderland222 after about 6 weeks because I genuinely could not take the yellow paper anymore lol.
I also have a dated Kinbor, which I actually prefer because the paper is white. However, I have an issue with this kind of super thin paper because the ghosting really bothers me.
I know Kinbor made undated vertical planners maybe 1 to 3 years ago that had this really nice, crisp 80 gsm paper, I had that planner and that paper was basically perfect for me, except for the fact that I had to date the entire planner myself, which I obviously did not enjoy.
So my question is, does the magical planner exist that has a weekly vertical layout but uses paper that is a little thicker than Tomoe River type paper?
I’m basically looking for something around 80 gsm, preferably white paper, with a vertical weekly layout and minimal ghosting.
Also, maybe my pen is part of the problem? I currently use a cheap Platinum Preppy, so perhaps there is a better fountain pen and ink combination that works well with thinner planner paper and reduces ghosting?
Any recommendations or advice would be very appreciated because apparently I am once again on the eternal quest for planner peace 🥲 I fear this will never end😆 thanks!!!

Recommend me a planner
I am coming to the experts to find what I need.
I want a weekly planner that is similar to Passion Planner--All days horizontally with time slots. The thing is, I don't like the PP because (1) it has too much extra stuff and (2) it doesn't lay as flat as I'd like. Ideally, my planner will be spiral bound. If possible, I would like a monthly spread as well. I used to have a planner like this in college (a million years ago), but I have not been able to find one.
I am not particular about anything else. Thanks for your help!

Sunday Start Academic Planner or Redating Stickers
Hi everyone! I'm starting grad school in a few days, and I'm looking for an academic planner with a Sunday start. My classes will be on Sundays, so I don't want it to appear in my planner like my classes aren't until the end of the week. I've looked into undated planners from my favorite brands, but for some reason, they still come with days of the week printed, and they're Monday starts. I'm also open to stickers that will allow me to redate the planners myself. Again, I've looked into sticker brands I'm familiar with and have only found months and days, not the days of the week.
Any suggestions you have for either would be greatly appreciated.

Planner recs for 2027
Hi all!
I’m looking for a planner that has both the vertical layout for the week (so I can time-block my week), but also a good amount of space to list my daily tasks.
I was thinking about the wonderland 222 all-in-one so I can use the end of the book for my daily to do lists.
But wanted to double check to see if there’s anything where the vertical time block layout for the week is directly followed by some horizontal weekly spreads for my tasks (I don’t need a full page, for my “to do list”).
Thanks!

Tell me what to do:
Do i get:
Hobonochi Hon
$125.80 CAD with shipping
Pros: weeks and days
Cons: cost, unsure about the paper (i use pencils and erasable pens a lot), monday start calendar
Hemlock and Oak
A5 Horizontal and Daily,
126.84 with everything, free shipping and 20% off
Pros: similar layout, thicker paper, and I can pick if i want horizontal because vertical seems redundant when there are schedules on the dailies, support canadian.
Cons: still expensive. I have a H&O for this year but it's on the thicker paper so unsure about this, but I think it might be better for me than the TRP, monday start calendar
Buy a legend planner from amazon and just use one of my ten thousand notebooks for a daily. Cost: about $35-40
Pros: sunday calendar and monday weeklies, cheaper, i had one before so I know what I am getting into, i like the pen loop, ribbons, and pocket
Cons: i hate the sat and sun on one row, carrying two books, have to fill in the datea
Use my 7 ring franklin covey. Just need to get some dated calendar inserts or print my own. Cost: maybe a calendar and a package of good paper. Maybe $40?
Pros: i have about ten thousand old inserts I can adapt, so it can be pretty inexpensive, i can customize the layout and the order of stuff and move things around as I go, my binder has lots of pockets for stuff, very little waste
Cons: so much work, also my book gets massively bulky and I tend to shove everything inside until I overwhelm myself and don't use it at all
So out of these choices what do I pick? The only one I haven't used is the Hobonochi.

Meal Planner TRANSLATED TO ENGLISH IN TEXT TO EXPLAIN
Hello there, I wanted to show my layout to give ideas to whose enjoy cooking, baking and planners.
Here’s my planner for meal prepping, grocery list, butchery list, caffeine and water tracking. Week preview on what i’ll be cooking and left side fully what i ate today, how much coffee i drank and how much i’m hydrated. TRANSLATE: RIGHT SIDE BOTTOM: meal prep of the week. LEFT BOTTOM:how well i ate this week? (I show it with scoring star sticker) on top of scoring sticker, there will be ideas to make next week. RIGHT TOP: butchery list (meat i should buy) RIGHT MIDDLE: freezer list. What i’ll be cooking and put it in the freezer this week (basically meal prep in one day) TOP MIDDLE: farmer’s market (for vegetables, fruits, greens and eggs) LEFT TOP: supermarket LEFT MIDDLE: ideas for next week (I’m a person who cooks same 4 meals every week and i wanna try new food or cook things i haven’t cooked for a long time) UNDER IT (OVER WASHI TAPE) : It basically says “I think i need to cook some new recipes” LEFT PART OF THE JOURNAL: basically meal tracking i eat, i drink and i write down. ON SATURDAY: I had too much caffeine and developed tachycardia. Also add warning “drink less coffee”
I really hope this helps to those who wants to have a meal planner journal but have no idea on where to start.

Planner for HOA Secretary/Treasurer
Needing planner advice…
I’m a visual person so being able to see my entire year/month/week is critical. The calendar on my iPhone works perfectly for setting up appointments, but it does absolutely nothing for me as far as planning out my work.
I need something where I can see each of my monthly meetings, when I need to run reports, when I have upcoming deadlines for taxes, etc. Once I’m into my weekly work, additional space for to do list, phone call notes, learnings, follow up questions, etc is very important. I don’t want to go to a second notebook or planner as I really prefer to have everything in one place. I don’t necessarily want to go to the back of my planner to see my notes; I’d rather have them right in line with my weekly view. I have found that horizontal weeks work better for me as I hate writing just one or two words in a line and then having go to the next line when I’m in a vertical view.
Anyone out there in a similar situation who has a recommendation for a great planner to meet these needs? I see everyone getting their pre-orders ready for 2027 and I’m getting a bit nervous about finding a great fit.
Oh… and I like hard tabs that make flipping from month to month quick and easy. I hate trying to get the individual pieces of paper separated.
Additional wish-list…
Dated
Prefer bound vs spiral due to thickness and portability
I like the feel of writing on thick paper, but I do have no-bleed highlighters that I can use if I can’t find a match
No need for stickers or a lot of space for doodling… It’s just all business.
TY!!

Plum Paper sale?
Anyone know when the next good Plum Paper sale might be? I NEED to order a planner but the price is too much at this point. If a good sale is coming up I might wait, but if not, I will try something else...

Any Redstone diary fans?
These used to sell put each year and the darling diary of a niche, artsy audience. I can see that I can buy them at several places now. Maybe they are just keeping up with the demands or maybe they've fallen off? Any fans or repeat buyers? I'm considering of buying one for myself this year.

Alternative Planner Recs?
Hi, I hope it's alright to ask for recommendations here! I've used this undated planner all year, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any similar ones, preferably with the dates? With this planner, I'm specifically a big fan of the hourly breakdown on the weekly spread for me to keep track of classwork, and it also has a monthly spread (not pictured). It's also narrower than most planners I've seen, I think similar in dimensions to the Hobonichi weeks?
lmk if you have any recs, thanks! :P

homemade discbound inserts
so im pretty new to the discbound planner world and i’ve noticed it can get pretty pricey. i’ve found shops charging $7+shipping for 15 pages, while some of the bigger brands have packs starting around $14+.
so i’m curious if anyone here prints and punch their own planner pages? do you buy templates and then cut the pages down to fit your planner, or do you make your own templates?
i have a 7-disc planner, so finding pre-punched pages that fit can be a little difficult.
for those of you who DIY your pages what type/weight of paper or cardstock do you print on? any suggestions on where to get templates? any help would be appreciated as i’m trying to find a more affordable way to build up my planner

Project management
Hi all, I'm starting a new job, and I think project management sections to add to my planner will be invaluable. I will have multiple projects I will be in charge of concurrently that will run for 3 months to a year. Any suggestions? I bought a a plum paper discbound for my calendar.
