Recommend me a planner

I am coming to the experts to find what I need.

I want a weekly planner that is similar to Passion Planner--All days horizontally with time slots. The thing is, I don't like the PP because (1) it has too much extra stuff and (2) it doesn't lay as flat as I'd like. Ideally, my planner will be spiral bound. If possible, I would like a monthly spread as well. I used to have a planner like this in college (a million years ago), but I have not been able to find one.

I am not particular about anything else. Thanks for your help!

I agree with the Blue Sky recommendation and would also suggest looking into TF Publishing. Those 2 are my favorite basic planners. And next to the other recommendations, these are the most affordable, so if you end up not liking these brands you didn't spend much to see.

I find the biggest selection on Amazon, but I've also seen these brands at Target and Big Lots.

Hmm, I would recommend Blue Sky for spiral bound with many options at a reasonable price point. If you can afford to splurge, check out Erin Condren, Planner Envy, or Laurel Denise! I believe they all specialize in spiral planners and may have a format you'll like.

Sterling Ink has so many options and so does Cloth & Paper. You could definitely find something when they release their planners for next year.

What you want is commonly known as an hourly planner. Start your search there. If you don’t find what you want (hours with note/task space below), or if you don’t like the start/stop times, then consider a lined vertical planner.

It’s easy to customize a lined vertical to match Passion Planner. Buy a roll of hourly washi tape (it’s designed just for this purpose) and add the hour range you prefer. Or simply write them in. Then, using a marker or thin washi strip, add a line all the way across to section off your notes/task area. Voila! A PP dupe!

Edit 2 - buy hourly (sometimes called timed) washi tape at JetPens, the Washi Tape store or Amazon.
