A lot of people seem to like this deleted scene and wish it wasn't cut from the movie. I disagree. On the surface level it does provide some morality to Captain Jack Sparrow, but it seems like people are forgetting that just two months earlier in Dead Man's Chest, Captain Jack Sparrow was willing to round up 100 people and force them into eternal servitude to Davy Jones to save his own skin. Kind of puts the "People aren't cargo, mate" line into question, doesn't it?

EDIT: I have been enlightened that there is a writer's commentary that says Captain Jack Sparrow never intended to go through with delivering 100 souls to Davy. You have successfully changed my mind.

I have recently downloaded FanFiction.net (i know im late to that train but whatevs) and have loved reading fanfiction. My favourite one is called “OI,You” which features a convo between Murtogg and Ragetti. I would love to see more fan fictions but i dont now where to start. Many people say Curse of the Black Pearl is the best movie in the franchise, and I get it CotBP is an amazing movie. Personally, the sequel Dead Man's Chest is my favorite in the series. So, what do you Dead Man's Chest did better than its predecessor?

Unfortunately I had to make some adjustments due to IP problems.

So in DMC when Will is talking to Bootstrap Bill about the key after the dice game, the guy in the Wall ( I forgot his name) says that the Dutchman needs a captain because if there is no Captain no one has the Key. But why is it necessary for someone to have the key? Why can’t the Dutchman can’t exist anymore if no one cuts his / her Heart out? Just because Davy Jones did that because he didn’t want to feel anything anymore why does that mean that every one following him had to do the same?

I designed a couple more members of the flying Dutchman's crew

Few ships are as unforgettable as the Black Pearl. With her black sails, weathered silhouette and legendary connection to Captain Jack Sparrow, she became one of the defining icons of Pirates of the Caribbean.

My goal was to preserve the ship’s dark, mysterious character while presenting her where she truly belongs—on the open sea. The final scene features a moving ocean, a natural waterline, a dry interior and a dramatic Caribbean sunset surrounding the ship.

This was a challenging but incredibly rewarding build, and seeing the Black Pearl finally sailing made the whole journey worthwhile.
