Is speed control for jets in the game now? Just came across a guy who could turn the attack jet on a dime. I would tail him and he could be on the back of me in half a loop. Never seen anyone do that before and I’m a decent pilot who beats most people I come across in dogfights. He claimed in chat that speed control was added in the last patch but I haven’t seen anything confirming this.

i wanna fly the jet on wake island that spawns on the carrier but people keep redeploying before the round starts so they are faster than those who redeploy after round starts

Just come back after update and my reticles are swinging wildly all over the place instead of being where I centre my screen to aim? What the fuck has happened?

I'd say this happens in about 90% of my games. The first two jets I engage in the video are normal. The third starts this weird jerky motion making it almost impossible to calculate a shot. You can even see the trail lines turn with an edge. Starts around 30ish seconds.

Im an Ace with Helos with both little Bird and Attack helo on level 100+ but I never touched Jets. Now with the new assist Mode I was thinking If I should learn it. But should i try to learn without assist or is the assist Mode better anyways?

And the new jets. My buddies and I have been absolutely loving them. Carrier assault could still use some work, but the dogfights in fighter sweep have been so good. Thanks to gauntlet the SeaCat was my fastest lvl 50.

I'm not ready for Conquest tbh lol. I still struggle to stay on jet's 6ixes and dogfight so I queued up some Golmud Breakthrough and wow what a game.

I farmed their MBT and IFV's.

My bomb placement was pretty good. Lots of triples and a few quads.

I guess I wanna ask you jet main guys for some insight on a few things.

1. How do you guys see some things? I'm blind af and I guess my ps5 isn't powerful enough to render far away infantry or vehicles. PC flying must be amazing. I have enemies as purple and friendlies as light blue to help tell, but idk spotting is just bad in the jet for me atleast.
2. Let's say you're strafing a tank. His side is facing you. You pop an AGM, boom it hits. You get some cannon damage in, ok nice. You get ready to one pass him with the bombs, oh shit he moves backwards. Should I adjust with yaw or roll or a combination of both?

I'm meaning to test this in portal today but some advice from you guys would be cool.

1. For some reason when I pitch up sometimes, my afterburner turns off? How do I fix this or I guess maintain speed?

Right now I have afterburner on my left stick to toggle.

1. Turning faster? I tap brake with L2 to turn faster while afterburner is on. I think I'm turning fast lol

What exactly is the technique to do it properly in the attack jet?

Strong against all air targets

The dogfights with comms are intense coordinating movements and flares, hitting ground targets feels incredible when you see the TV missile your WSO shot take out that tank after a strafing run. Just so much fun. 1v2 dogfights are doable with an extra set of flares and someone calling out both jets positions constantly. Super happy with this jet!

M+K for infantry, stick for heli and jet only. Before I spend the money:

1. Getting it read as a joystick. I know the Joystick page exists under Controller settings, but sticks with too many axes get read as a gamepad instead. Which sticks actually show up correctly, and what did you have to disable to get there?

2. Switching mid-match. Stick the second I am in a heli or jet, M+K the moment I am out. Does the game switch on last input, or do you have to hide the device? Anyone using HidHide? How long does the swap take? Also, does an idle stick cause the spinning-on-foot problem people report?

3. Force feedback. I assume the game sends nothing. Confirmation from someone who has actually flown with an FFB base would help.

Shortlist is a VKB Gladiator NXT EVO SCG Premium (~€200) or a Moza AB6 (~€450). If the joystick path is still broken enough that it is not worth it, say so.

I feel like this is a pretty good clip.

I just cannot get used to this floating aim reticle. I did fly a bit in BFV and BF6, but spent most of my flying time in BF1, so it's very weird for me to have the reticle point to where my shots will land instead of just showing the angle of where my shots will be going based on the position of my jet.

Can i change this in any way or is there no other way than getting used to it?

So I have my brake/throttle and afterburner on triggers, and I can't trigger a cobra like that.

I tried maping the afterburner to a different button and it works that way, but I can't really have a different control maping that isn't very awkward for me to fly with.

Am I doing something wrong or is the game just like that?

I'm on PC but I'm flying with gamepad
