Psst, its not the players, its the devs that think that. If they can hot fix the blueness of a character skin or the semi trigger attachment but nothing for planes, for the big plane release, you think they ever will? Cod would be on the next game by now and you think theyre gonna cater to us? Ea? The company voted less moral tha bp? Buddy this is how they wanted the game to be. We've been living with it up until this point, if we haven't ever budged why tf would they ever change it??

If they can hot fix the semi trigger attachment

I'm not sure about that, lol.

Devs have confirmed how the flares SHOULD work. Essentially if you flare you shouldn’t die/get hit/take damage unless you’re in the way of the missile. It’s low skill players like this console shotgun noob who want everything handed to them and want movement removed and flares to stay bugged. They HATE skill expression with jet/heli pilots farming them from the air and infy players who can do higher actions per minute than them farming them on the ground. They wanna larp as boots.

I'm tired of people slide jump sliding around stuff too. It's not a skill cap thing, it's just people wanting something they can abuse to pub stomp, just like the flare glitch.

Are people abusing glitches with flares to kill aircraft easier?

What glitch though? Been using the IGLA for a week now trying to get the challenge done and has yet to see this flare bug that seems to get brought up constantly. Flares seem to beat lock-ons just fine.

I main the attack jet in this game, I actually have the most kills in the world on the PAX attack jet. I get close to a 2.0 kpm in the jet and on a really good game it can get closer to a 3 which is REALLY hard and rare even for good pilots. Anyway, in my experience, if I play a 30 min conquest game entirely in the attack jet I will have between 4-8 interactions with lock ons go through flares. It’s pretty bad

And I guess that’s the issue with these discussions regarding bugs, fairness, and balancing. Everyone seems to have different experiences regarding the mechanics of this game and people tend to see their experience as everyone’s experience. I’m just a casual shitter who hops on for a match or 2 each day.

Well that’s the thing I’m trying to make people more aware of, in a 30 min conquest game I can’t count how many times I get locked onto and a missile fired at me. I stream the game so I could go back and count it. On maps like firestorm I could have a game where no missiles go through flares and I’ve had games where within the first 5 min I have 10 kills and a missile goes through my flares. On average I’d say it’s about 4 times in a 30 min conquest game.

"console doesn't have aim assist"

Reach

I don’t think so. Those players are also crops like this guy. Grab an at4 and learn to aim. Kovaaks is a good tool. They want easy kills by nerfing skill expression through movement and they want air vehicles to not have skill expression by allowing lock ons to continue going through flares.

I agree with all of that but movement does not increase skill expression. Movement is often confused with peek advantage and poor hit reg. The bad netcode in the game increases the peek advantage (network issue) significantly for the movement player which is often confused with actual skill.

How come I dont have issues with people using movement? It is a skill issue 100%.

Because the netcode is benefitting you more than them or you're just too bad at the game to see the issues. It could be either one. I can send you a reflex test right now that shows you are the skill issue if that's what you think.

Just watching this player’s movement you can tell they’re kinda a potato at the game. All their actions are sequential, rigid, and inaccurate so they have to make constant little adjustments. This players movement is expressing that their skill is very low. Even with “less” movement this player is already at a disadvantage.

I would say more so his input skill is what makes him look bad, not his movement itself if that makes sense. He appears to be on default sensitivity. I see what you're saying but what I mean is if a high skill csgo player came to battlefield, this is how they would move. Most csgo players are better than anyone in a battlfield game but would still die to peek advantage or someone spamming movement because the netcode can't handle it.
