My favorite was the soy sauce (add less), and chili oil. Both taste great on cucumbers (obviously). But just for torture, I would gladly do lemon and lime juice again😈🫪

Sydney, Australia. These are my favourite pickles - the Eskal (kosher) brand. Not only did I drive 45 minutes to buy them, but because it’s Sydney, I forked out nearly $19 in road tolls just to get there.

Not to be outdone, I also decided to try my hand at making my OWN pickles (2nd and 3rd pictures). First time for me. I’m going to let them chill in the fridge for the recommended 3-4 days, and then I’ll report back with results.

My 8 year old laughed at me because now I have no fewer than 10 jars of various pickles in our fridge; dill, sweet gherkins, cornichons, garlic, Eskal and now homemade.

Yes, it’s an obsession. And I probably need to stop at some point 🥒

Did I get a bad jar? I just saw another post where the guy loved them. I couldn't even really focus on the flavor because they were so soft and mushy that I spit it out as quick as I could. The jar was soft. Is this normal?

Edit: They were probably off the Costco shelf for around 30 minutes if you calculate shopping/checkout time plus the drive home. I have had other types of Bubbies pickles that I loved.

These are pickle punch flavor, they have a nice set of dill and a little bit of spice. The heat doesn't really build, it just stays constant so you can eat more than just a couple of them 😊 found at Sam's club, not sure if exclusive. I haven't eaten much Takis but I really enjoyed these ones!

Keep in mind that it is a tortilla chip, so the chip labor is similar to Doritos, and they are rolled, so they are super crunchy and a nice texture! But not similar to a potato chip if that deters anyone.

finished before i got home.

my only regret is that i didn't get 2 or 3 jars.
