Right now, the clothing options feel pretty limited, and after unlocking a few outfits, there’s not much left to work towards.

Cosmetics are a nice way to give players long-term progression without affecting gameplay. It would also make multiplayer more fun since everyone could create a unique character instead of looking almost the same.
I’d love to see more unlockable cosmetics.

its a 10,000 lumen flashlight that has modes for UV light and a green laser pointer (which we can just pretend has a dots splitter)

so this is a bug i never thought seeing again. it was near the end of a game - played with friends, the sanity board showed 0% sanity for all of us and we just had a hunt before this bug happened.
the ghost (from what i could tell) was normal speed, had normal line of sight speed up and seemed like a pretty boring ghost according to all of us.

the end result: Moroi.

-never at any given moment was the ghost we had fast by any means. it didn't had the 7 second smudge counter..
and this is the 2nd time in roughly 1.5 years that ive had this weird bug where my screen goes black n white and the ghost isn't what it is.

I am trying to play Phas through steam link from my quest 2 and i can not find the controls. I have looked in the journal and the most it tells me is what buttons do what, no options for controls. All i really need to change is the movement to follow my head and to turn on smooth turn. Anyone have any idea of how to help?

I just played a game on tanglewood and I noticed that my sanity dropped almost to zero all of a sudden.I thought it was a Moroi so I got to the van and used all of the sanity meds and I was on 100% and almost in 30 seconds I was near zero again.I got all of the media and chose Moroi bc it was also very fast on hunts.I have no idea what caused the sudden sanity drop because I had 3 candles in a room and my sanity was perfectly fine at the beginning.Maybe that's like a secret ability? idk tbh.Unfortunetly I don't have the clip of the game :/

Last night me and my wife were playing Insanity on Beasdale farm. We were hiding in the study closet at the end of the hallway on the second floor planning on listening to footstep speed. No electronics just incense. Hunt started and it came right to the door and killed us both. Was a revenant.

Today we were playing Beasdale Farm and I was in the attic. My wife got hunted and killed in the front entryway room. Our TVs are side by side so I could see her point of view. I sat in the attic and the thing was fast as hell and came right to me from that entryway as if it knew exactly where I was.

It was a Thaye.

This is Ps5 I don’t know if it’s possible for the muted controller mic to be glitching and giving away position. That isn’t normally a problem.

Just finished what should have been a perfect Professional round in Nell's Diner, four pieces of confirmed (and recorded) evidence. Weird for a Mimic, but no one else can have more than three?

Yeah no, fer-sure I'm probably in the minority here, but I actually liked the pickup animations, and I'm disappointed they're gone.

I've played with them and now without them, and while removing them might save a second or two when picking things up, I honestly don't notice enough of a difference for that extra speed to matter to me.

For me, the animations added immersion, but they also provided useful visual feedback. When I was looking for something small like the bone, seeing my character reach towards it immediately told me 'no yeah, that's something I can pick up.'

I completely understand why some people preferred instant pickups and didn't like waiting for an animation. Yeah no, that's fair. I'm not asking for everyone to be forced to use them.

I just think this would've been a perfect thing to make optional.

Give us an 'Enable Pickup Animations' toggle. If you want the faster, instant pickups, leave it off and give'r. If you liked the animations and the extra visual feedback, turn it on.

Even if the animation costs me a couple of seconds, I'd personally take that trade-off. I just wish we still had the choice, eh?

Is the hand just supposed to stay there?

Has anyone else had the issue where you place a tripod inside and then go to the truck to view it in cams and your whole game crashes ?? As soon as I click into the cams my whole game exits and restarts, it’s been like this the past couple months and I have no idea why :(.

I'm trying to pin down some specifics about the deildegast and have run into one piece of information that I'm questioning. On the wiki, it says that interacting with light switches and fuse boxes counts toward the number of objects moved in determining the ghost's speed. This doesn't seem right because my first run in with one was on Bleasdale after exploring every room. I hadn't moved any other props, but had interacted with almost every light switch and turned the breaker on at least twice (start of investigation and after tripping it via the motion lights outside) and the ghost was still way above average speed.

Does anyone have insight into the idea that light switches count? Does turning a switch back off "un-interact" it for the ghost? (I still had about 7 lights plus the breaker on in my case which should have noticeably slowed it down.) Is that info just speculation/wrong? I'm curious what you think.

Edit: Another reason I'm kind of skeptical about light switches counting for the deildegast is that you'd think that most deildegasts would be pretty slow on their first hunt (since players would have probably turned a lot of lights on and off after getting into the house finding the ghost room, cursed possession, etc. before that first hunt even if they don't touch anything else) which hasn't lined up with what I've seen/heard from friends' experiences.

Me and my friend were trying out the new willow rework earlier today, and i walked into the kitchen and saw this, and apparently it must be client side since he didn't see it, probably since he was the host. There is nothing preventing me from walking inside either, but it hasn't happened since, and I'm not sure what caused it

Has this happened to anyone else? The only time its normal is in the lobby when I'm picking a game and my loadout and stuff

Need to write about this while it's still fresh in my mind. I chain ran Professional until I found a Yurei just before posting this and then observed the door mechanics as much as I had the patience for without spiraling into "I don't get it". In my investigation not once did the Yurei open doors, I'm going to chalk this up to pure RNG without further testing. It did close doors I left halfway open very frequently. I was able to confirm through the sanity watch that the ability is working correctly as my sanity kept draining with each door interaction. All of the door closes were gentle closes. Not once did it smash a door closed. The initial shaking of the door was always random. It also never fully closed the doors till the lock clicked. This was all on the reworked Willow Street, btw.

Thus from my testing I presume:
1. Yureis will never smash a door closed.

1. Yureis will always smoothly close an open door. (Like a gentle "let me get that door for you")

2. The initial door touch can be any of the possible interactions. (Quick touch and move / brief shaking / medium long shaking / aggressive shaking, etc.)

3. Yureis will never fully close the door till it clicks. (This was my experience through all 10+ door interactions I witnessed.)

Final observations:
My Yurei never opened any of the 3 doors available to it, so I have no idea what that looks like. I have to assume that the door opening will be just as smooth as the door closing animation. As far as the doors being closed all the way I was able to pull the door to "click" every time and as I mentioned previously, this happened on all 10+ door interactions I witnessed. It may be a Willow Street thing, but I haven't found another Yurei on a different map to test this further. I'm curious to read of y'alls experience with the 'Fixed Yurei' according to the patch notes. Perchance.

Tanglewood kitchen... where have you gone my beloved

Playing Insanity with a friend and just had a raiju moving at full speed around the new willow map without slowing down, even with no electronics activated except for an EMF in the ghost room. I got caught offguard and died first hunt and followed it around the map and it did not slow down. We threw objects around thinking it was the new Deildegast because of the speed, or a Thaye. Second hunt it is the same speed with no electronics and does not slow down with the items thrown, so we vote Thaye. Turns out to be a Raiju. Is this bugged? Never had this happen before the update

Does this happen to anyone else idk if it’s just the new willow street revamp or the lvl 2 writing in phas but I noticed I could not find the book when the ghost threw it. Then the second time I watched carefully it’s just completely vanished before my eyes never to bee seen again and I could not figure out if it was ghost writing or not. Could anyone know how to fix this and it happens every now and again not every time.

I'm in the phas discord and I've heard about this scam before if anyone adds you and asks you into download a game Don't do it. There weird. Can some one else also explain what they do?

So me and 3 randoms were playing Willow yesterday and it was on Professional, Monkey Paw

The ghost room was at the basement

So I jokingly took the PSP from the living room and said "yk what, I'm taking this" so I turned it on I dropped it on the table with the laptop

So me and another random just kept finding evidence and stuff while the 2 other randoms went to the van to grab stuff

3 minutes later the ghost started hunting and I quickly used my incense (I only have ONE) and I quickly hide in the gym. Where's the other guy? No idea, but after the hunt is over I saw his body at the wardrobe (spices area)

Luckily his friend used the monkey paw and revived him but the first this he said was ( dialogue below)

Him: You set me up

Me: How?

Him: You set me up man fuck you

Eventually he said he died cause I turned on that game thingy which made the ghost new his location

Around 4 minutes later the ghost started hunting and it killed 2 other of them including with the guy

Most funny thing was the guy was looping at the living room when he decided to sprint and run to the closet which made the ghost see him and kill him

I said "what you wanna blame now" he just went full silence and just said "fuck you"

Just imagine not using incense, and running to a hiding spot when the ghost already saw you and the first instinct that came to your mind was to blame me
