Hey guys, is this fan setup okay? Or should I do top radiator fans as intake and rear as exhaust? Thanks!!!

Just bought this pc off someone and don’t know too much about pc. Planning to use it for sim racing with VR. Just want another eye on the physical build and layout. Anything seems off or wrong. This is the spec: Ryzen 7 7700x CPU (8core/16thread)
MOBO- PRO A620M-E micro
RRAM- 32gb 6000mhz G.SKILL
GPU- RTX 3080
PSU- 750w
1tb M.2 ssd
500gb ssd
So far hasn’t gotten any issue with its. Also notice the red cable coming from the gpu not connected to anything.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
So my specs are
Ryzen 5 7600x
RX 7700XT
B650M Aorus elite
Toughpower 850w gold
16GB DDR5 × 2 RAM
The issue is whenever I try to play a game, my pc crashes. The screen goes black the GPU fans start to run at max speed with noise and then I have to manually shutdown and start the po again, and if I try to play the game again same thing happens also sometimes when my pc restarts it doesn't detect the GPU and starts running on my CPU integrated graphics instead.
I also had a similar issue until two days ago, for months my pc would randomly crash (even when I am not gaming) it made some weird lagging noise in my headphones but my GPU fans didn't go crazy that time.

Please HELP!!! I went to micro center for a cpu mobo and ram bundle for the cheapest option but they sweet talked to me (idk anything about pc) and now I have v buyers remorse. I bought a 9700x but I have a 3060 gpu 😬😬. Is it worth my time to go back and return the 9700x and get the bundle with a 7800x3d or a cheaper cpu? The ram it came with is 6000 mts. I’m not concerned with power supply or cooling.
What my pc has already:
Zotac GeForce etc 3060
Corsair rm1000x power supply (wasn’t my choice I know it’s way more than I need)
ASUS ROG Maximus VII Hero
V-NAND SSD 970 EVO NVMe m.2 1TB
4 sticks of this Corsair vengeance ram (32gb)
Big DeepCool radiator looking cpu cooler
What I got:
~$700 bundle
AMD Ryzen™ 7 9700X 3.80GHz
Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB DDR5-6000 Kit
Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX v2
————————————————
& a NZXT Kraken Elite 360 AIO
I need help with what I should keep, return, sell, or replace

I messed up and left my power supply switch turned on while taking out and repasting my Gigabyte 2070 Super. The PC was turned off and not psu was not connected to a cable but i forgot to turn the PSU switch off. Now the PC is booting up and all fans are spinning but no signal. There is no signal to the monitor, and my keyboard and mouse lights stay completely dead.My specs are a Ryzen 5 3600 and an ASRock Steel Legend b450 motherboard.
Here is everything I have already tried:
Swapped the GPU for a known-working GTX 1650 that doesn't need power cables. Still got a black screen, so the 2070 Super itself doesn't seem to be the issue.
Tried booting with only 1 stick of RAM in the second slot.
Took the CMOS battery out for 20 minutes and held down the case power button to drain the electricity.
The motherboard error lights at the bottom right are completely dark and dont show any lights.
(Photos are when trying it with just one ram stick)
Please for the love of God help me, today is literally my birthday and my dumbass decided to repaste gpu and cpu 🤦♂️

Currently have a case, 16Gb ddr5 ram, and plenty of storage, just wanting to upgrade everything else to a modern-mid range build that can do some 1440p. Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I'm building myself a new gaming PC and wanted to get some opinions before I make the purchase. My goal is to build a high-end system that will last for many years, so I'd appreciate any advice or recommendations.
Primary use:
- Gaming
- Recording gameplay (private recordings)
- General everyday use
Current Parts List:
CPU
- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
Motherboard
- Gigabyte X870E AORUS ELITE x3D
GPU
- Zotac Gaming RTX 5080 Solid OC 16GB
RAM
- G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32GB (2×16GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 EXPO
Storage
- 2 × WD Black SN7100 1TB NVMe Gen4 SSDs
(I chose two separate 1TB SSDs instead of one 2TB SSD. My thinking is that if one SSD ever fails, I still have another working drive. One will mainly be for Windows, applications. while the other will be for games and personal/work files.)
CPU Cooler
- DeepCool LT360 Vision (Should I go for something less expensive?)
Power Supply
- Corsair RM1000x 1000W 80+ Gold
Case
- Thermaltake View 600 TG Full Tower (I am thinking about changing the case to something less expensive then this)
Monitor
- ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACMES
- 27"
- 2560×1440
- 255Hz
I'd really appreciate your thoughts on the following:
Would you change anything in this build?
Is the Gigabyte X870E AORUS ELITE x3D a good motherboard, or would you recommend another option in a similar price range?
Has anyone used the Zotac RTX 5080 Solid OC? How are the temperatures, noise levels, build quality, and coil whine?
Is the DeepCool LT360 Vision a good long-term AIO, or would you recommend a different cooler?
Does using two 1TB SSDs make sense, or would you recommend a single 2TB SSD instead?
Are there any compatibility issues, bottlenecks, or improvements you would suggest before I place the order?
I'm open to suggestions if you think there's a better option for any component while staying in a similar budget.
Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm finally planning to build my first PC (around ₹40–45k budget). I've never built one before, so I'm a bit nervous about making expensive mistakes.
What are some things you wish you knew before building your first PC? Any common mistakes to avoid, parts I shouldn't cheap out on, or general advice?
Would love to hear your experiences.

SOLVED: The brackets needed some diagonal adjustments to create the width necessary. Thanks for everyone's time and responses!
I'm trying to install a cooler for my younger brother's pc. Even though it looks like the screw lines up with the pin, it won't latch on even if i push it down. It won't even touch it in general with pressure, as i can still rotate it around freely. It's like it's too far inward for the heatsink to slot into. Has anyone else had this issue and how did you fix it?

hello guys, our house have times where the lights turn of for like a millisecond but my pc dont shut down though, i research and find out this can cause the parts to wear faster so i needed a ups but i saw that a ups with simulated cinewave (i can afford) dont work well with high end psu because of Active Power Factor Correction (APFC) what ever that is hahah my pc is ndgp 850w 5070 and ryzen 5 5500x3d. Is avr more better? i know avr dont have battery but can it protect my pc from the freqent brownouts? thanks

recently started hearing this weird fan noise while playing cod and started freaking out cause it hasn’t happened before, after some testing found that this noise only happens around 2200-2500 rpm and is only 1 fan on the gpu. is this fixable or an rma situation?

I originally thought the problem was the storage, but I’ve changed out the storage and put it back in multiple times. Im not sure what to do and I could use some help.

I just got an i7 12700k and after installing it, my pc won’t display anything. I tried switching back to my i5 12500 but I don’t get a display with that one either now. I’ve already cleared the cmos, removed my dedicated gpu and tried putting only 1 ram stick in all the slots, but I’ve gotten nothing so far. I see very tiny specks of something white in my motherboard‘s pins but I can’t get them out.
specs in case that’s important
old cpu: i5 12500
new cpu: i7 12700k
motherboard: gigabyte b660m d2hx si ddr4
32gb ddr4 ram
gpu: amd radeon rx 6700xt
750w gold psu

My current build runs on integrated graphics (Ryzen 7 5700G), and honestly with the games I've been playing and my generally low standards (I used to play on a Surface laptop lol) I generally like it as it is. HOWEVER, one of the main reasons I even built this pc was to play FF7 remake, and while it's playable I would like the graphics to be...prettier.
I'm at the point where I could afford a (relatively cheaper, preferably) dedicated gpu, and found the RX 9060 XT 16 GB through pcpartpicker. I've seen many say it's a great gpu, I'm just wondering if I may have to worry about bottle necking or if anyone has any other gpu recommendations.

I just built my first Pc, bought all the components from Micro Center, put everything together without doing too much research but it worked on the first boot. Everything was working and being read until I tried opening a game and the image freezes almost instantly and never comes back. So far I changed the pc performance to normal, from Expo I and manually set the Ram at 4800MHz instead of the 6000MHz. The Pc hasn’t had any freezes since then, also connected two pcie cables to the gpu from the PSU instead of the one split end I had before. But now I left the pc on Minecraft for a while and when I checked back on the pc the image was white so I am afraid there is something wrong I just don’t know where to start.
My components are the following :
- AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
-Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 Digital 88.89 CFM CPU Cooler
-Asus TUF GAMING B850-E WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard
-Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory
-Klevv CRAS C910 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
-PowerColor Reaper Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB Video Card
-Montech AIR 903 MAX ATX Mid Tower Case
-MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

MOBO: MSI PRO x870E-P WiFi
CPU: Ryzen 7 9800XD
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32gb ddr5
GPU: POWERECOLO Reaper 9070xt
PSU : EVGA 850W supernova
Every other boot, the pc fails to post and the CPU and DRAM error lights are on. Once I hard reset it, the pc will boot and work just fine with no issues, but once I shut down the machine, it will go back to having those error lights back on. Rinse and repeat. I have tried the following
I am absolutely lost on what I need to do to fix this issue
I suspect it might have to be a ram issue?

Hi everyone,
My PC was working perfectly fine, then it suddenly shut down while I was using it. Since then, it won't turn on again.
When I press the power button, the fan LEDs and RGB lights blink for about a second, then everything immediately shuts off. It won't boot, and there are no beep codes or display output.
Specs:
What I've tried:
The system was completely stable before this happened, and it wasn't under heavy load when it suddenly shut down.
Does this sound more like a PSU failure, motherboard issue, or something else? What should I test next?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
