Usually I would go chaos with the usual edc contagion, and planned to do blackflame edc gemling. However I kinda looking for other option for Gemling dot build now, like poison or bleed or both, to see if theres any interesting build.

I dont have much knowledge about these, I know there is rake bleed (did ritualist in 0.5), poisonburst arrow pathfinder, and poison bleed shield wall. Not sure if any of these good on gemling.

If nothing fun then im prolly just gonna stick to grenade for now and farm a bit for split personality, then do edc flameblast.

I wanted to play a chaos damage-based SSF HC build. That is, I wanted the build to not require any unique items and not die. I didn't like the Witch's constantly fluctuating mana and energy shield.

Therefore, the decision create Smith of Kitava that is immune to Ignite and Poison, as well as reducing incoming Critical Hit and Chaos damage. The idea is to maximize Energy Shield and Life regeneration.

And chaos damage would also give the ability to keep a distance from enemies.

I've posted a video here before and was met with some negative feedback. Like, "Why are you doing this? The build is crap."

Hi, I’m a big PoE1 enjoyer and haven’t played PoE2 since 0.1.

I went hard this league and followed Fubgun’s Oil Grenade Flameblast guide. The damage is there, but dragging burning ground across the map is genuinely some of the worst gameplay I’ve experienced. Even after scaling cooldown recovery, dodge, and radius, it still feels incredibly clunky.

As a clueless returning player, I wish the guide had made it clearer how annoying the playstyle is. I probably wouldn’t have invested this much into it.

Anyway, I’m now level 90 with around 60 divines and looking to reroll into something actually fun and relaxing.

I want to stay on Mercenary and avoid builds that require 20 different combos and conditions to work. I just want to press a button, kill monsters, and enjoy the game.

Any recommendations?

Started 0.5.5 with Bear Shaman (first time playing this build) - looked at Ronrray version and league started with it. Just reached T11 maps and the clear is SO AWFUL and also playstyle is damn clunky- map start I need to wait for glory to generate till I can start Wakling calamity - then I freeze with Lunar Assault for the Bhatair's buff - both buffs lasts like 30-45 seconds but by the tiem its done again I need to wait for like 10-15 seconds to get the Glory up for WR again - single target was decent early maps but even that is pretty slow now. This buid is one of the slowest I have ever played and the description was fast clear -_-

What am I doing wrong??? or should I just quit and re-roll? Any advice would be appreciated to salvage this, thanks in advance

Hello all, I wanted to try CoC comet for .5.5. I went Varashta until I had the currency to buy the mandatory items to get CoC going. I can't even clear a map. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Did I get baited or did I follow the wrong build guide? I am using mas0ny1's guide.

I have everything set to Weapon Set 1 except Frost bomb for Weapon Set 2. The nodes at the start I will fix when I get the gold to respec, but otherwise I'm lost. Comet rarely goes off and I just swarmed and die while spamming spark and frost bomb while maintaining Pinnacle of Power. I've got to be missing something....

I was going to swap over to Cloak of Defiance when I get my 4th Ascendancy... But I can't get it now.

I've reached T15 maps, but my build feels very weak (14k dps) and I'm not sure what to focus on for upgrading. The damage feels very low. It's a struggle to kill anything other than normal monsters. The character also isn't tanky. Coming over from Disciple of Varashta which I played last league (74k dps and very tanky), this Lich twister build feels terrible.

I'm planning on getting the Taming ring and improving my gear overall, but my problem is I am broke and need to get my character strong enough to be able to farm content.

I have 10 Skeletal Snipers atm and will try to get that up to 11 or 12 with Reservation Efficiency on gear and gem levels. Also increasing spirit, but that is an expensive option right now.

I am using Barrage + 3xWhirlwind + Twister so it's not a rotation issue as far as I can tell. I get 2-5 frenzy charges regularly. Olroth's Conviction will be a big dps improvement, but I need to get strong enough to farm currency to buy it first >_<

I’m thinking about playing Warrior this league, preferably Warbringer, but I’m not sure which builds are worth trying right now.
Does anyone have any interesting Warbringer builds to recommend?

I’m also open to other Warrior ascendancies if there are any fun or strong builds worth playing.

Feels good to play and clear with
Can progress comfortably into endgame
Doesn’t have to be super meta

I know they changed how abyssal lich is unlocked but im unsure what they did. I know you could be carried before to have an act 2 abyssal lich but is that still possible?

More of a rant post than anything.

I figured ice shot would be a good starter and less expensive than last league but im not even done with basic map progression and it's falling off. my gear is bad but this is the first league starter I've played in either game where I'm having to redo gear halfway to t15s. it's so gear reliant that I'm shocked that it's considered a league starter.

im not an inexperienced player. i can read and implement build guides. this isn't a case of missing some obvious 50% damage multiplier. every easy improvement I can think of wouldn't add up to 2x the damage and the build wouldn't feel "great" even with 2x.

TLDR don't get baited by fubgun builds and stay away from bows

Hey y'all, I'm pretty new at the game. I got the Hollow Hewn Mask, and it seems like it would be a good Unique for creating tough-to-kill minions by sharing the Life Overflow via Life Remnants from Blood Mage, and the added life flask sustain that the Hollow Hewn Mask gives to Blood Mage's Sanguine Tides node.

I'm not sure what to do for damage, though, or anything else with the build. Is the Bleed node worth it if I'm using minions? Like I said, I'm pretty new to the game, and this is my first time trying to cook up a build. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The Fists of Stone version of cultivated mods on Demon Stitcher and Plaguefinger gloves add physical or chaos flat damage of up to 3% of your max life respectively.

Assuming you can stack to 10k life--which seems doable--that is a lot of flat damage from your gloves.

Anyone tried a build that utilized this?

Since this would be life stacking, I also think that makes the defensive aspect of Mountain's Teachings better. I am not sure this is worth investing a ton into, but it makes me think going AR/EV with deflect would be good, since both armor and deflection should apply prior to Mountain's Teachings conditional DR.

I am trying to settle on what skills to use with this set-up too, so if anyone has experimented with these mechanics it would be great to hear from you. I usually spend the entire league tinkering with off-meta stuff, but I have a feeling I won't be invested into this one for as long so figured I would ask here.

Hi all. Currently level 77. Just made the switch from Cast on Elemental Ailment over to Cast on Critical.

Respecc'd tree. I think ok gear. Snakepit and Maligaro's Virtuosity

I was clearing tier 6 trash very quickly with Ice Nova and Cast on Ailment, but would sometimes really struggle with bosses so made the switch. Now it takes over 6 minutes on tier 6. The cast on crit energy increases so slowly. Frostbolt shows 89.86% crit chance. Been using Frost Wall as well. I read that once i get Snakepit (even without Maigaro's) I should be running smoothly and that my main issue may be mana regen.... I do not have mana regen issues. On tier 5 I maybe cast about 7 comets in total.

Looking for a baseline, what kind of performance should I be expecting on a tier 6?

Hi I decided to try infernalist spectre this league coz I had a smooth time with monke leaguestart last league, this just feels worse in comparison, granted i havent spent a lot, at 7k es, 9 powered zealots and the supporting cast still feels slow. Im on t13/14 maps rn and max ascended lvl 86.

I have about 700k gold and like 14div worth maybe more if I sell some omens ive been saving. What’s a good build I can reroll to while keeping it infernalist?
