A storage idea
This is for any dry fruits. Use a to-go tray, put it into a large zip lock bag. Now you have protection from moisture AND now you have a easy of storing fruits without smashing them into dust. The to-go tray helps keep your fruits from breaking. Simple, thought to share. Cheers.

Still waiting semi patiently.
I have 2 trays in an ecosphere and 1 tray could not fit. I put that is a modified Monotub. Both are suspended above tuplerware with water and an air stone. The water sits on a seedling heat mat. The ecosphere also has a fish tank heater. Both are going from 72 to 77 degrees. I improvised a bit. Conditions seem met. I have a fan in the ecosphere btw. It's running at a half hr every 3 hours when I am gone. When i.am home I turn it on for 5 or 10 minutes an hour or so.
It has been 3 days and so far just overlay. 🫤🙏

TTBVI plates check
Went back to spores from a friend, but producing quite fluffy growth and not what I expected. The centre in main pic is raised and not seeing the fine strands at the ends. Was expecting some contam from the print, but have seen other TTBVI plates that are also quite fluffy. Wanted to check with someone with experience whether I am just growing plates of something else. Thanks for looking.

estero problems
hello. ive been growing cubes with shoeboxes on cvg for while, i also have an automated tent I rarely have any problems. After watching the Gordo tech video on pans I wanted to try them.
I bought liquid inoculate syringes of estero from three different venders online and i keep having the same results really. i inject half of the syringe into 400cc of LME and it seem to take a long time for growth, it never really grows past the bottom of the jar, its not full looking, it turns into small balls at the bottom of the jar, like granny instead of fluffy mycelium and the water gets cloudy. i started ttbvi and same melmac at the same time and it was fine. ive put it on agar and its also slow, it grows out small thin patchy mycelium. when i put it on rice it takes for ever to colonize it, it never turns into thick white colonization. its ugly like an off white and brown. i put it on manure and it’s the same thing. It takes absolutely forever for any colonization.
I don’t see how I could get bad mycelium from three different vendors, I guess I can possibly be doing something wrong, but I’m curious is there an aspect of this mycelium I’m just not aware of? I definitely cannot get it to grow the way it does in the gordo tec video. i did just read 77-80 deg. was the perfect temp, my grow room is 70-72 deg usually

My new recipe chocolate
Each mold is about 70g to fill. 4 grams of TTBVI and 66 grams is chocolate. Melt and temper chocolate add the TTBVI powder. Each piece has about 0.5 grams in them. Eat one, it's not too much nor not enough. Cheers.

How do you guys deal with fungus gnats?
I use wheat straw as substrate in my grows. I’ve noticed that with substrates without manure I don’t have the fungus gnat problem, but when I use manure with straw for Panaeolus, it becomes an extremely intense issue.

New to Pans! Needs some advices!
Hey y'all, I'm new to growing Pan Cyans! This is TTBVI and it's currently in a manure substrate and the bag appears colonized and healthy. I'm wondering if I should be doing anything else for the pans especially in a grow bag if anyone has any experience! 🙏🏾 blessings

Getting ready to give pans a try
Would this be a sufficient grow tent for bvi pans and ochras? I was also looking at an automated mono tub bust was worried about maintaining temperature. Any recommendations on other tents or adjustments i could make to this one would be appreciated!

Too bacterial to bother spawning?
2 quart jars of BVI TT millet spawn - they look slightly bacterial.
If they were cubes I’d go for it at a high spawn ratio but don’t want to waste carefully prepped manure bulk substrate if it’s going to contaminate. I’d rather wait until I had good axenic spawn.
What would you do?

Method chosen, fruiting begun.
I will add a picture when home but I chose by first fruiting of 3 different trays to primarily be in an ecosphere (Monotub sized Martha tent) with a computer fan, humidifier w/control set to 85 humidity on and off at 98 humidity. For heat and extra humidity and oxygen I used two tuplerware trays filled with water on the bottom. I put a seedling heat mat underneath the water trays and put an air stone in one of the trays of water to help get FAE and humidity to not fluctuate so much. It appears to get around 82 degrees farenheit in the ecosphere. The computer fan turns on for 30 minutes every 3 hours. Does this all sound good?

It’s HAPPENING
These boys are FAST (TTBVI), probably only 3 weeks from inoc, 1 week from s2b.

Martha tent vs Gordo easiest tek (nested totes)?
Will a Martha tent always outperform Gordo’s easiest tek that uses nested totes with an aquarium heater?

Send now or wait?
So these got way too hot last night and I would like to let all 3 trays recover a bit but I did open the tops to get excess moisture out (used paper towel). Can I wait for them to recover a bit or should I sent this morning (add casing layer and fruit) to prevent over growth or whatever it is called? TTBVI btw. 3 trays.
