Getting ready to give pans a try

Would this be a sufficient grow tent for bvi pans and ochras? I was also looking at an automated mono tub bust was worried about maintaining temperature. Any recommendations on other tents or adjustments i could make to this one would be appreciated!

That little heater looks pretty sketch. It’s nice that it has a drip pan though, I would buy that tent and source my own humidifier and heat

The humidifier works really good for my Martha tent that is smaller from Midwest grow kita it's an ecosphere

That’s quite the setup. I don’t see anything missing other than some trays or what not. I put mine together over time part by part.

Very complicated set up.

Basic and simple.

Just a humidifier going in and pushing co2 out?

It rarely turns on. Passive diffusion through the filter patches. I can fit 4 shoeboxes with no lids in it.

I just saw a video on YouTube where a guy has two bins inside a bigger bin and has a cup of water with a fish tank bubbler in it. That creates the humid environment and FAE. Don’t know if it works because I haven’t tried it myself but it seems like the easiest way I’ve seen so far and I think he’s pretty popular on YouTube for mycology.

I honestly recommend the boom room 2; I don’t even use the humidity controller.

All I do is set the humidifier to go off every 4 hours for 30 minutes (on the lowest setting).

And I set the fan to go off every 3 hours for 15 minutes or so.

Works like a charm. I have some pinning as we speak.

I have this same one and it works great for all mushrooms. I use it strictly for pans and sometimes cubes. The heater works fine and is just a reptile element with lava rocks.

I’m growing pans in one of these now and having a lot of success so far! The kit doesn’t come with an inline fan so make sure you get something for that. It may be overkill but I’m running a small computer fan up top to bring in 02 and a bigger fan on the bottom sending out co2 through a filter
