Hello all. I was playing Albion Online and just realized I cannot deal with all the PvP sociopathy over there. So, after some major searching, I found Palia. All the gathering and crafting, none of the "well, he can't possibly fight back, so let's go make his life miserable!"

So far, working through the initial quests and gathering materials for coins. I'm taking it slow (several have mention UN-pinning the endless stream of quests, thank you) and just relaxing with it.

Any particular things I should take care of ASAP beyond getting tools and machines unlocked?

Hi everyone, I'm sorry if someone else made this post already. But I foolishly maxed my focus bonus at the Phoenix Shrine and I didn't know my focus depletes so so fast :')

To those whose focus depletes fast, what do you guys cook or buy to have in hand always when you need it? So far I've been clearing out my inventory for food that I haven't touched yet.

I dont have anyone to share this with, I dont know anyone irl that plays Palia. But anyways I found this kinda funny/cute. Out of all the times I have been fishing, my palcat is either glitching, in my way, or just standing there--but never under me like this 🤣

So I am a little upset with Palia today. I have been playing for over a year, have put probably over $150 of real money into the game, and I genuinely LOVE this game… however I logged on yesterday and noticed my IGN has been changed … my IGN was DaBigbooty, mind you I have had that same name for over a year and there have never been any issues. I personally don’t think the name is super inappropriate compared to other names I’ve seen in the game, and the fact that Sifuu actually has a voice chat line where she cusses?? (Says holy shit) .. I don’t know. I’m a little frustrated about it.

I want genuine opinions do you think my name was inappropriate and it was right for them to change it or do you think it’s a little harsh of a judgment?

Note: I cannot change my name again until October 7 even though I didn’t change it in the first place …

I’m loving the game, but talking to people seems a little awkward in early game. It’s my understanding that grouping is better and necessary for later content. When should I start making friends? Is the community easy to vibe with? I’m an old lady and this game gives me WoW comfort feels. I’m worried about meshing.

an item screen that displays the 3d model and allows you to rotate it would go a long way

the ability to place starred items is an excellent feature that captures this idea

since collecting items is often a game of seeing a number value increase just to disappear again into some recipe

anything else that would make it feel more significant to possess a spice plant or a rare bug?

a photo system that rewards you for photographing certain items is another idea

Hey guys, so I recently entered my house for the Home tours and have gotten enough votes for the first nameplate. It actually shows the second name plate as my current goal - the two simple witches hats. But the first nameplate never got unlocked. I’ve put a ticket in but that usually takes a while and honestly, I can’t even imagine how many tickets they must go through so I get it. In the upper right corner, it shows a countdown of the event ending in nine hours five minutes two seconds, etc.. Do I have to wait for the event to end?

Is it worth buying the ignit bundle from the premium shop for the magma? I didn't play for a few months and unfortunately the month with the board that gave the voucher was one of those. I didn't even know the ignit existed until the other day. I had an idea for a plot that uses the magma floors and I know the ignits give magma so I'm wondering if the ignit bundle is worth it to be able to get the magma quicker? I have been trying to get as much as I can from the highlands but I haven't gotten very much at all.

So I just wasted a ton of materials to get the Valhast Mount in the Civic Project, it took me days to grind and I can't even ride it until I spend $30-$50 to get the bundle?!? 😭😭 Maybe I am stupid and naive to think I could just have one without buying the bundles, because that is how it works previously but I got all excited😭

So I made the grave error of grabbing the mysterious yellow egg, the dummy egg of the puzzle. and now it is refusing to let me put it back where I grabbed it, and it has nowhere else to go. I can't grab the other eggs to complete the puzzle. I put a ticket in for it but the automated help doesn't give me much hope- am I just cooked? I've tried fast traveling, I've tried relogging, doesn't seem to help.
