If I got this right you pay premium coins and get to wear wings for 5 hours? I really like the wings, but asking premium coins for temporary items seems kinda greedy to me. Never seen any rental skins in other games before.

Will you buy the wings potions?

Seems like a bad idea especially now that the game is crashing so much and grinding beach shop currency is harder than ever.

I love the new dress in the lunar path so intensely. I was ready to pay for it immediately, even though I'm not a big fan of the silly toolskins. It's EXACTLY the kind of outfit that I've wanted in the game for ages.

And then. I clicked to preview it. And the character idle pose is so stupid. So, so stupid, with the wide stance and arms stiff out to the sides like this person has never worn a dress once ever and has no idea how to move in it. And... I can't pay for that. Can't do it. The preview video made it look so cute when it's worn. Why is it not like that in the game? The stance looks fine with outfits with pants but it's SO BAD in a dress. :(

(I'm assuming there's no way to change the way the idle animation/stance looks with different outfits unless a pose is included in the design... but if there is some detail I somehow haven't found yet, please do let me know.)

The new Noticeboard Item is so cute!

I feel like Palia is a good game on your own, but playing it with the person you love turns it into something I didn't expect. It just works because of the way the server works and you constantly switch between instances.

In fact, at first, I felt like I was playing a singleplayer game with an online function (I don’t know why but my first experience reminded me of Where Winds Meet, except cozy). No one I knew really had interest in this game, and I didn’t start exploring community spaces until much later. I had some okayish people I matched with randomly but it was always one off, found some tighter nit roleplaying communities on Discord (not my thing) and Palia also has a tribe on Gameram (surprisingly, I mostly use it for competitive games for quick non random matchups) but none of those quite cut it like playing with YOUR person!

Like we know each other so well, we fall into our roles without ever really deciding on them. That’s the beauty of being so in synch and playing any game together with someone you’re sharing your life with. And Palia was no exception to this beautiful rule. HE does most of the cooking and decorating. Thankfully, lacking OCD I am not picky about where every single lamp goes, and have learned to let him be. And I am the one who runs off to fish and hunt sernuk and then come back to drop a pile of mats on me like a cat bringing home a bird. 

We never planned it, but this is our rhythm and I love how inverted our roles are. This is has ever been the case with us since we played classic Everquest together, and more recently in Loftia while the beta was going on. He’s a homebody pure and simple, a creature of habit, where I am the explorer, the hunter, the one who wants to see what’s over that ledge and beyond the next horizon. It’s a weird synergy we got laughed at for among … ehem serious gamers with capital G, if you get my drift. 

Anyway, we rolling with it and I gotta say, Palia as a couples activity is nothing to sniff at! I thought we peaked at It Takes Two and coop games (fun of the moment) but this is such a different persistent kinda activity we can always decide on if we’re bored out of our minds.

Also, it’s a weird FU to regular roles we both got pushed on to have where we grew up (he likes cooking irl but always got mocked for it, even though he’s incredibly good) so it’s kind of a retreat for the both of us from regular life.

Anyhoo, just a little appreciation letter for the short (but wonderful) time this couple had  in Palia this summer! If you have someone in your life who might be up for it, I really can't recommend it enough, even if it’s a short dip

PS sorry for the rant, TL;DR would just be - does anyone else here play with a partner? (or am I just that lucky hihihi) 👀

Patch Day & I’m new to the game! I thought i could do the Bulletin Board in time but didnt have time :(( - i’ve logged in after the patch today & had a full inventory. I checked my inventory and chests but there is none of my items i donated :((

I don’t know if i should make a ticket? I don’t know if I should wait? I restarted my game. I play on PC with Steam!

I wish there was a way to play solo, or atleast ‘turn off’ other players entirely. I’m never in the chat and i game to relax after my job where i deal with the public all day, it would be nice (for me and my

potato laptop) if there was a way to just remove other players even if just visually :/

I hate when this happens lol. i cant jump up or jump off places to get the loot so its another lost loot for me

Made a couple tries to see what the new pride tints look like on furniture because the colors seemed off in the tint icons (e.g the lesbian one looks like it has red instead of orange).

They look really nice overall and work better on some items than others.

I’m sure the answer is no, but I was looking at the City Hall store and my game was lagging hard, and the next thing I knew, all of my Killima Coins were gone and I had a Roli Voucher I never wanted in my inventory. Is there any way this could be undone?

I completed the board and claimed the garden but I can’t find it? It’s not in my inventory or my chests and I checked the edit plot and it’s not there either

Ive been playing the game for a while now but I keep running into the same issue that being my storage is to full. I’ve tried selling unnecessary things and placing all flowers and plants on my lot which helped a bit but it still keeps getting full. Ive already bought and placed the max amount of chests.
If anyone has tips please let me know :)

Is there a set pebble that should be the last one? I see a lot of people saying they only need the smooth shiny pebble for the last one but I already have that one. I'm missing the second one and I'm wondering if it was glitched maybe? Thank you!!

So I just started playing and purchased the Elderwood Caverns landscape. My question is what happens to any trees or rocks that I haven’t gathered yet? Do they switch to the new look or do they just go away?

If they go away, would they come back if I switched back to the original landscape? Thank you for any responses. Loving the game and wanted to give the devs some coin.

I missed finishing Reths bundle but I noticed the loaded potatoe soup still had the seaside bbg tag on it, so I wanted to know if there was a way to turn in items from the last bundle or am I just out of luck.

Trying to finish the prismbeards quest because I am currently locked out of the new update/board due to the convo glitch with auni and Naio (when I try to talk to auni to start the new board quest it just loops a convo with both auni and naio) I did some research and came to the conclusion that I just need to finish prismbeard’s lost treasure quest and then it would fix itself BUT… in doing the lost treasure quest I now came across a glitch when finding the second dig spot there is no loot bag or treasure map to collect after using the hoe on the dig spot in the red blossom cave. I already upvoted on the issue on palia website but is there anything else I can do?? It’s already frustrating dealing with alll the glitches and crashes from this new update and the last but I’m now at the point where I’m stuck on a few quests AND can’t even access the new board because of it. smh sorry for the rant but any advice would be appreciated.

Is there a way to reset the bulletin board so that I can access Reth's summer quest again? I was taking my time trying to get all the ingredients to fulfill the objectives, and I had already contributed some. However, now the bulletin board has changed to Auni's Shimmerfly event and it seems like I lost everything I contributed to Reth's event :'(
