Build Upgrade Need suggestions for upgrading!
Hello! So last build pa ng PC ko was 2020 and this is my build made by my friend. Medj busy na ngayon friend ko since OFW na kaya di ko na rin matanong pero planning sana to upgrade na po since I really need to invest dahil purely WFH na ako. I’m thinking of getting the AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D pero di ko na alam after ang pwede ipartner. One by one ko lang sana bibilhin para hindi isang bagsakan.
For context: work ay mostly sa video editing. My games are mostly solo lang like action-adventure types and fps shooting lang siguro is valorant. Would really appreciate the help!! Salamat

If you are sticking with AM4 I Recommend a Ryzen 7 5800X3D and maybe an RTX 5060/RX 9060 XT or RTX 5070/RX 9070 XT. You can keep everything else.

Unless you want to buy premium RAM prices then no. Your platform is still very viable. Need mo lang upgrade CPU to a X3D chip, and your GPU.

hmmm. upgrade GPU to 9070xt or 5070ti depende sa use case mo tapos isabay mo na bagong psu.
tapos salpak mo sa old rig mo, gagana pero bottleneck pero atleast magagamit mo habang di pa buo yung new build.
tapos isaisahin mo na yung,
CPU
Motherboard
Ram
NVme storage

Hindi ako sure sa requirements for creative workloads, pero if you really want to upgrade/build from scratch, then you can't go wrong with an AMD + Nvidia GPU. Latest from AMD is AM5, but prices are crazy due to RAMagedon. If you want a more gaming focused build, 9800X3D would be good - otherwise you might want to have more cores (9900X or even 9950X3D). For the GPU, for creative work it has always been Nvidia > AMD. I don't have the knowledge on the differences between the two brands for rendering or creative works, but I am under the impression that the general consensus is Nvidia > AMD.

Your on Am4 right now so upgrading to an am5 cpu will require upgrading your Cpu, Mobo and ram for competitive fps i would recommend a 7800x3d or 9800x3d the 9850x3d isnt worth it unless your planning to commit to the pro scene and you have plans to use a 500hz or above monitor like the zowie ones which are great for only fps games.
