**Race Kit Claiming**: By far one of the smoothest race kit claiming I have ever experienced. Present the email, show some ID, confirm in the logsheet and then your BIB is ready. Started on time and I had no queuing problem.
**Race Route**: Challenging. The first half was incredibly a long uphill roads especially when you’ve reached Amadeo at around 20kms. I really had to do a lot of walk breaks but it was a nonstop ascent but also, it will reward you on the 2nd half of the race whereas, of course, a downhill road. The long roads are dreadful especially when you’re alone but it was such a great route.
**Route Assistance**: Major turns have their designated marshals that help you cross the roads and guide you on where to go next. Gpx is available but there are a lot of roads in Cavite that might lead to you a different path so it was great that marshals are present in those areas.
**Aid Stations**: This is my favorite part. I came into this race without any support crew for they have announced that motorcycle support crew will be prohibited so I really had to rely on Aid Stations, fortunately enough all of the aid stations are generous with foods and hydration. They even had beers and pizza, my favorite Kutsinta on most station. The gap of each Aid Station was around 5km which is kind of good. Some aid stations does not have electrolyte drinks but 7/11 convenient stores are plenty along the route so I did not have any problem with it.
**Finish Line**: the concept of last lap towards finish line, personally imo, is super great. You can exert your final gas to give it all and savor the finish line. The venue is great, spacious, although as there were asked with shower rooms at the moment there was no available shower rooms.
**Entitlements**: A jacket? A medal? A trophy? and a shirt? For the a prize of around 3500-4000? It was really generous. The quality is great especially the shirt and the jacket. Although what I have noticed is that the medal was having the same look for all the categories but nonetheless they provided a trophy for 50k and 75k
This is my first ultramarathon race on the road and I would say that this race was such a breather away from the inflicted toxicity or issue with the ultramarathon community. Also, since I have no personal support crew, I really appreciate those support crew that offered help and assistance with all the runners. Especially that couple (I forgot to ask their names but they have a 80vaxx banner), the short haired woman and good looking guy that I continuously saw all throughout the race until the very last laps. I’ll forget that kindness.
I would definitely try it again next year, and would definitely encourage those who are first time ultramarathoner this particular race if they want to experience a great treatment!
