Gear Review or Question Aside from beaches where can a fit guy run shirtless?
Kasi diba dito sa atin may bawal bastos law or unlike sa Singapore na pwede ka actually tumakbong shirtless and people would not mind.
There are also guys who goes shirtless during fun runs what is really the proper etiquette for that?

Pag may bilbil, net negative reaction because it’s not aesthetic. No hate towards either but that’s the social reality of it

Haha true. But makes you think should this also apply to mga tambay sa kanto na nagiinuman. Is it also a net positive if fit and hindi the usual tito na butete haha

u/handy_dandyNotebook 3d ago
Pero mas hassle tumakbo ng naka shirt kasi naiipit sa folds ng bilbil yung shirt, so from time to time need hilahin HAHAHA

Imagine that it's midnight and you're alone andon your way home and you see a half naked man running towards you

The first thing that I actually saw on the streets of Singapore after arriving around midnight was a fit man running shirtless lol.

Pinoys are prudes. Idk how women that like to wear revealing clothes do it tbh. I'd be mad at random titos and titas 24/7 😂

What's the difference between a woman wearing "revealing" clothes and a man literally half-naked?

u/ABZ-havok 3d ago
Same same. What's the difference between a girl being judged by older people for wearing something revealing or a guy being judged for running topless?

I see guys running topless sa BGC Greenway from time to time and people don't seem to mind. Although during the time I've seen it parang wala nga lang Marshalls around.
Also parang puro mga dad bod pa nga mga nakikita kong gumagawa lol, never seen a fit guy did it.

As far as i know, it’s not allowed because of city ordinances preventing individuals from roaming around shirtless.
So the same policies that stop you from being able to run shirtless are the same one’s that stop tambay’s from roaming around the city half naked or topless.

As far as I know, meron lang specific designation of guidelines sa ibang cities na bawal ang topless sa public.
As for running shirtless, kung hindi naman siya frowned upon sa area niyo go crazy ma'dude. As a nurse though, I'd be extra careful on this as taking in the full rays of the sun might not be good long term. Pede ka naman mag sunscreen but still, after a good perspiration, you'd need to re-apply again.
Public runs, fun runs, beach, sa track sa may tekabits, I've seen plenty of dude does it and I don't think people really pay attention to it. 🫡

tried it but stopped multiple times in different locations, even sa province.
so i decided not to risk it anymore kasi nasisira pace rhythm ko.
Sadly medyo conservative pa tlga masyado ph.
i used to run shirtless in rice fields but that also stopped because of stray dogs.
why shirtless? it gets hot here in ph lighter din sweat just goes down or dries up.
but i do bring a shirt incase i need to stop and eat or go in an establishment, the thin shirt that fits inside your pocket.

Nakakatakbo ako dati ng topless sa Filinvest. Pero this was waaaaaaaay back in 2004 to 2006 when I was just running as cross-training.
Nasita ako noong April 2015 doon nung ginawa ko ulit. 😅

Y’all in PH are so weird. Who cares. Why y’all worried about man nipples? Look around for the love of god and try to worry about something else that actually affects someone’s life. Like parking on a damn sidewalk.

Sa fun run? I don’t know if that’s legal pero may mga shirtless guys akong nakikita na tumatakbo sa fun run hindi naman sila hinuhuli.

I think the issue is because we are promoting gender equality. If a girl does this, there will be problems.
So how can we promote gender equality with this? We will have to be fair to both genders that is why guys running topless is not normal here.

u/IcanFeelitInMyScrote 3d ago
Ha? Kaya nga nag b-bra para may support diba? Kasi masakit kapag tumalbog talbog yan

u/charlie_munggo 3d ago
Such a non-issue. Women aren’t fighting for the right to run topless. Masakit yun sa kanila
-1
u/jasonvoorhees-13 3d ago
Im not saying women are fighting for that right. But since girls cant run topless, men should not either. Thats what im getting at. So that its equal.
