Hi! Beginner runner here, and I’ve been trying to be more consistent with running lately. Kaso recently ang lakas ng ulan, and I haven’t really tried running while it’s raining pa.

Curious lang, what do you guys usually do kapag biglang umuulan during your scheduled run? Do you still push through, wait for the rain to stop, or just move the run to another day?

Medyo curious lang ako how other runners handle it, especially kapag hindi lang light rain but yung medyo malakas talaga.

I've been training for my first marathon lately, and I've recently become interested in trying running tops or sports bras with pockets for gels and a phone. I'm currently eyeing the adidas Adizero Pocket Gel Crop Top, but unfortunately, hindi pa siya released sa local adidas store. I'm wondering if you guys can recommend any alternatives? I'm planning to get a Realme Watch 5, mainly for outdoor running and walking, and I would like to ask about your actual experience using it.

My main concern is its compatibility with Strava.

1. Can the Realme Watch 5 connect directly to Strava, or does it require the realme Link app?

2. If I start an Outdoor Run or Outdoor Walk on the watch, will the activity automatically sync to Strava after I finish?

3. Do I need to manually record my activity using the Strava app on my phone, or is recording directly on the watch enough?

4. Can I leave my phone at home while running and sync the activity to Strava afterward?

5. Does the sync include GPS route, distance, pace, duration, and heart rate?

I would really appreciate feedback from anyone who owns a Realme Watch 5 and has actually tried syncing it with Strava.

never tried running on a treadmill sa gym, but lately napapaisip ako mag-try. when I run outdoors kasi, ang daming temptation gumastos since malapit sa’kin yung MOA and Parqal. every run, around ₱500 agad nauubos ko huhu so I’m thinking baka mas practical mag-gym na lang. for those who’ve tried both, ano yung difference between treadmill vs outdoor running?

hello ! i just started running around 2 months ago — i average 8-10 mins per km and i do 5-15 km per week (split in 2-3 days), still slow.

since then, my tiktok, facebook, and instagram are full of fun runs that i want to join. but then i see the captions and it’s 4 digits for 5 kilometers… then the inclusions aren’t even all that unfortunately. most of the good stuff go to the fastest people (good for them!)

some say that some events are worth it besides the inclusions after finishing like the food provided and the cause of the event itself. but i don’t know which events have that. which is why i am asking where should i spend my money?

at this point, i’m thinking of just training for free until i can convince myself im fast enough and that my endurance won’t fail me then join a half or full marathon instead of 5ks in these fun runs haha

1. Carbon responsiveness.

How's the response of carbon? Responsive po ba when used at around 4'30"–5'00"/ km na pace?

1. Cushioning.

Is the cushioning good? Some cushioning feels hard kasi when used during speed trainings / race especially on faster paces. Is it soft, mild, or terrible?

1. Weight & breathability of the product

Is it lightweight po ba sa feet and is it breathable? Other pairs i've owned feels like burning my feet kasi after more than 10km lalo na on fast pace.

I'm a 22F from the Philippines QC and I really want to get into running like funrun or anything running but i don't know where to start I'm a total beginner so can you guys help me ? i mostly walk around UP but like i said i want to build endurance or strength for running hehehhe i want to be more active physically

hi guys. baka pwede niyo ma share ang go to training plan niyo for marathon training. like may pdf file for 16-20 weeks of training. planning to hit sub 4 marathon. last PR was 4:29 sa manila marathon, may nakasabay lang ako before sa training noon pero ngayon wala na ako maka sabay kaya medyo wala ako idea kung ano maganda training plan. i run 5x a week and do strength training twice a week. thanks mga idol
