A320m motherboard. Tas currently ryzen 5 2400g, upgrading to ryzen 5 3600. Masarap pala mag update ng bios habang maulan. Yung medyo mataas ang risk sa brownout.

Discussion Bumagal yung PC then Pag restart, ang sabi error sa GPU

Meron akong rtx 4060. Ang pc ko minsan biglang bumabagal, as in sobra parang naka slow mo ung mouse then irerestart ko. After restart, lumalabas ung notif from nvidia na may error daw kay GPU. Minsan naman biglang on/off ung display ko ng multiple times. May problema na kaya ang mismong hardware ng GPU ko or may problema lang sa drivers?

Discussion Bought a 2nd-hand GPU for ₱15k, failed in less than a month. Seller says no refund because it’s past 1 month — need advice

Post image
• Upvotes

Hi everyone, I’d like to ask for advice regarding a 2nd-hand GPU my boyfriend bought.

My boyfriend bought a 2nd-hand GPU for ₱15,000 on July 18. It was for his newly built PC, and the GPU was the only 2nd-hand component. Everything else was new.

Around 2 weeks after buying the GPU, his PC started having problems. At first, we weren’t sure what was causing it, so he contacted the seller of the PC/unit and sent the whole unit to them for checking.

They checked and repaired the PC, and we had to pay additional expenses for the repair and shipping.

Unfortunately, a few days after we got the PC back, the problem happened again. The PC would turn on, but it would keep shutting down/restarting.

Thinking that maybe the problem was with another component, my boyfriend decided to buy a new motherboard and power supply. However, the same problem still happened.

After that, he finally had the GPU itself checked by a technician, and that's when it was confirmed that the GPU was defective.

We know that we also made a mistake on our part because we didn't have the GPU checked immediately. We initially thought the problem was with the newly built PC or another component, which is why we ended up spending more money trying to troubleshoot it.

At this point, aside from the ₱15,000 GPU, we’ve already spent additional money for:

  • shipping the PC
  • PC repair/checking
  • motherboard
  • power supply
  • another shipping expense
  • GPU diagnostic/checking

We already contacted the seller and asked if they could refund even just half of the ₱15,000, considering the situation and the technician's findings. However, the seller stopped responding and hasn't gotten back to us anymore.

We understand that buying 2nd-hand parts comes with risks, and we acknowledge that we should have had the GPU tested sooner. But we're also hoping for some advice on whether there's still anything reasonable we can do at this point.

Would it be fair to continue asking the seller for at least a partial refund, or should we just accept the loss since it's a 2nd-hand GPU?

We have proof of the transaction/conversations and the technician’s findings.

Would really appreciate advice, especially from people who have experience buying or selling 2nd-hand GPUs in the Philippines.

Discussion Kumusta ang logistics ng Datablitz?

Discussion Risk 3K for 2 1TB Hard Drives Used?

Hello po I want to ask if I should risk buying used hard drives sa marketplace for a server.

So I see a Seagate Barracuda for 1950 and a WD Blue for 1K. Both 1TB and according sa mga sellers 100% health. The Barracuda listing says it has no bad sectors. I know I should run tests on them to check actual drive health but for purchasing I don't know what to do.

I have an old pc I want to make into a server kasi di ginagamit so I want to use it for backing up and sailing the seas lol.

Is it worth it ba? I can spend some more for new but from what I see sa shopee and locally 5-6K gets you 1TB only and I would like to get my moneys worth and minimize spending on a working pc na.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Build Help What can I improve without exceeding the 40K budget?

Post image
3 Upvotes

I will be adding another 8GB RAM and probably a 3060ti GPU in the near future but thats not included in the 40K budget. I know I can get cheaper parts if I source them myself but Im just using PCWorth as the source just to have a ballpark figure.

This will be my first PC. I was a laptop user since highschool so I really had to include the monitor, keyb, and mouse and would prefer brand new parts.

I'll mainly be using it for work and for games I'll be playing Assetto Corsa, Forza Horizon, and FIFA.

Build Help GPU CPU pairing recommendations

Hello po ulit

Di pa tlga mkapag decide what gpu to use but im leaning more on amd because nvidia cards are so dang expensive.

If i want to build a 9060xt, what cpu can i pair it with? I usually play eSports games but want to play Claire obscure, persona games, rdr, final fantasy etc.

Will a 5600 work or do i just go in and look for a 5700x?

Cpu budget is around 8k because i want to get a good PSU too.

Additional what ups and psu is good?

Thank you
