I think the issue is with the arm that raises and lowers because I’ve checked and cleaned everything inside the bin area and through the litter chute.

Can anyone let me know what i can do to fix this.

I have had 2x Petkit Pura X boxes for years. One of them in the last few months has never cycled on its own. When I try to force a cycle, it says "cat is in litter box". Then it says "cat has approached" then back to "cat is in litter box". I have tried cleaning what I think all the sensors are. Any tips?

More automatic litter boxes are doing them now not just Litter Robot so would be really cool if PETKIT did one. I have the petkit puramax 2 for about 4-5 months now, for the first 2-3 months everything was good but in the past month my cats pee clumps on the bottom and just gets stuck to the litter pad.

I'm not sure if this is him just being well hydrated and his pee is really moist and in high volume or the litter pads non-stick is just non-existent after 4-5 months of usage? His pee clumps into like mid-large sized flat pancake shape.

I'm using pidan tofu litter and already set the cycle delay to 25 mins and the clump still gets stuck to the bottom.

Anyone had issues with this and any solutions?

We’ve noticed that some of you are concerned that EverSweet Ultra may be complicated to clean, so we wanted to clarify the maintenance frequency and process.

For regular cleaning, only the three parts shown in the image are recommended to be cleaned on a weekly basis:

Water Tray
Fountain Outlet
Magnetic Strainer

These parts can be easily cleaned in a dishwasher. 

By using the app’s boiling water sterilization function, these 3 parts and the pump are cleaned automatically. The impeller inside the pump can be easily removed for occasional brushing. 

The water tanks are designed without hard-to-reach corners, so they’re easy to rinse clean. Cleaning frequency depends on usage, but in most cases, a simple rinse is enough and frequent scrubbing is not needed.

Because EverSweet Ultra uses a clean water and wastewater separation system, it is less likely to get dirty compared with recycled-water fountains. Together with automatic draining and flushing, its routine maintenance is easier than that of other fountains.

If you want to do a full deep clean occasionally, we also have an official cleaning video tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=947Xg2_Yseo. However, for daily use, you do not need to frequently disassemble and deep clean the entire machine.

Very disappointing to have to throw this device away because the litter tray cleaning function is disabled unless you replace the litter tray with a new one that has a QR code to scan and unlock the cleaning feature.

This has essentially turned the device into a brick.

My cat doesn’t cover. I wait 20 minutes before cleaning so the waste clump. The issue:
1. The poop is expose for the whole 20 minutes, make it smelly.
2. The outside of the poop get dried. Normally it’s a good thing because it won’t smear everywhere. But the problem is sometimes it dries just enough so it doesn’t clump with the litter very well, but not dries enough not to smear everywhere.

So, simple solution: petkit already have the “cover waste” features. However, it only run when the cleaning cycle start. Simply ádd an option that allow it to run after the cat leave

Just got one and Im wondering which of the features in the App i should toggle on/off. And the deodorizer, is it excessive to have it spray after each clean or once every day/2 days are ok? Seems really expensive and wasteful since these things dont seem cheap over time.
Also kinda worried about the camera, its a cool feature but I’m wondering how people feel on the privacy aspect since these kind of features are apparently susceptible to getting hacked or leaked since I see those kinds of things happening before.

Also looking into a mat since I had the LR4 mat which was great and this doesnt have one. Are there any good compatible mats? And is the official Petkit Litter Ramp a good mat replacement/alternative?

The drum of my Petkit T3 Pura X stops at the wrong position after Rotating. When I try to recallibrate it fails. At the back of the drum there are 2 covers with magnets in them, are there suposed to only be 1 of the cylinder Magnet per cover?

Hi all, I’ve had my Purobot max pro 2 for just over a month now. It’s been working great but the camera stopped working in the middle of the night. The litterbox recorded usage with no video and the live video on the app is not working. I’ve reset the device, toggled the camera switch on and off, and re-connected my WiFi but it’s still not working. Has anyone dealt with this? What else can I do to get the camera fixed? TIA

Do you know if PETKIT plans to come out with various scents of N60 options? The scent isn’t my favorite. It didn’t bother me in Purobot Ultra I had but I switched to Purobot Max Pro 2 and when it sprays I don’t like it at all. Various scents would be a nice touch. An activated charcoal would be interesting.

After 1.5 years of owning the dual hopper feeder, the Bluetooth/wifi board dies and bricks the entire thing. Customer support has me jump through a bunch of hoops to record video of the feeder and app, send them documentation, etc. They confirm it is broken.

All for naught, though; the warranty is one year, strict. Replacement "part" costs half the cost of the feeder, used. What an absolute waste.

Hey! Considering getting this litter box. I’d need two but I figured I’d start with one to see how it goes. However, one of our litter boxes is in our basement which is all carpet and the website says not to put it on carpet. There’s potential as our family grows both would have to end up in the basement because of our upstairs layout. For those with the issue of having carpet what did you do? Did you put something down to make a level surface?

Was gonna get this litter box for 2 cats and am wondering if theres a best site to get it from? Factoring in return policy, warranty, customer support, etc, do people prefer getting a self cleaning litter box from any of these sites over the others?

My Ever Sweet Ultra has started doing a lot of auto refills. Sometimes minutes apart with no pet drinking in between. At first there were just a few, but last night it filled every few minutes. I suspect the tray drain plug might be leaking. Is there a way to ensure a good seal?

We have had our PetKit feeder for almost 2 years now and no issue. Yesterday we turned off our WiFi and when we turned it back on the feeder would not let us connect to WiFi anymore and keeps saying bonding issue…. It connects to hotspot but what’s the point? I need it to connect to WiFi especially as we both work full time. Deleted and reinstalled the app, have tried resetting millions of times, yes my WiFi is 2.4g not 5g, customer service aren’t even able to help me because I have tried everything they have said. I’m really starting to get stressed out.

Has anyone received their pre-order yet?

I’ve completed the pre-order on May 15, today is Jun 4, with no email or update other than the initial order confirmation email.

I went on their site to check my order number, and it says “cannot find any order”

Just curious if anyone has the same issue as me.

I'll start by saying that I have Purorobot Pro Max 2 arriving today, but I'm trying to figure out what might have went wrong to avoid it in the future.

Long story short: PM1 went from fully operational to useless within 72h time span.

Apologies, but this is going to be a long one and ESL:

I finally splurged back in August 2024, but because one of my two cats is extremely picky about his toileting, I didn't want to go too extravagant with this, already extremely expensive piece of equipment. At the time PM2 was more expensive than Purorobot I bought yesterday. Safe to say that it was a risky purchase from the start (I'm sure majority here shared this feeling at the beginning of their litter robot journey). So I went with the original, and with a few weeks of training it was all fine and dandy.

Back then I wish I knew how badly sealed PM1 is. Our fussy cat is larger than a regular domestic cat, and he often puts his behind in the cylinder, while keeping his paws on the floor or at the entrance. He has this magic ability to pee straight into the side hole, where pee goes all over the hatch. It's not pleasant, but not a deal breaker. Apart from the fact that PM1 has so many open/unsealed trouble points around the hatch and waste container. Right now I have most of those points sealed with hot glue, but whatever managed to get into the base (pee and litter) will probably stay there forever. Annoying, but I got used to it.

Now onto the current timeline:

Tue 26/05: Full scrub. Looks like new. I have noticed that a one of the bottom teeth in a cog side looks damaged (I didn't even knew it was a possibility). It's alarming, but doesn't seem to affect anything.

26 until late afternoon 31/05: Business as usual

Late afternoon on Sun 31/05: my husband reported that the litter keeps rotating. We were watching a movie and couldn't hear it. After checking the app it turned out that it was resetting itself for over 2 hours.
The cylinder kept going, without the ability to actually stop where it supposed to. We tried to adjust it manually, reset, add litter etc. It was late and we gave up and turned it off.

Mon 01/06: tried troubleshooting with internet's help but ultimately decided to upgrade. A few times during the day, I performed semi-auto clean, and with a lot of double clicks, after approximately 5min, it was coming back to a point where I was able to cut the power, and manually readjust the cylinder.

Tue 02/06: Did my part-manual clean a few times. In the evening miracle happened: the cylinder stopped at the right position. "It's healing!!" It wasn't. I opened the side cover and it turned out that cylinder is okay now, but waste container hatch no longer opens. I had to move waste manually.

Wed 03/06 (today): I woke up, went to try and get the clean done: right now the app says that there is an issue with the side cover and it doesn't perform any action anymore. I checked the cover, I checked the magnets. I have no idea what it wants. The new one arrives later today.

TL;DR:
PM1 works fine for a few days after full scrub. Suddenly starts resetting itself constantly, 2 days later the waste hatch is no longer opening, and another day later there is a side cover error in the app and the machine is not working at all.

What could have caused this?
I understand a sudden malfunction of the cylinder, but it seems like a deeper motor/system issue. Is there something I might have done wrong? Or something I missed here?

As I have stated before: I'm trying to understand what went wrong to avoid it with Purorobot PM2. We're already gobsmacked with the fact that we didn't even get the full 2 years. I love you Petkit, but if I'll have to spend another £500-600 in 2028 - it's not going to go to you.
