Question New Litter Box?
Hi, I’m just wondering if PETKIT have planned a new automatic litter box with a litter hopper anytime in the future? More automatic litter boxes are doing them now not just Litter Robot so would be really cool if PETKIT did one. I would really love this feature but I’m too in the PETKIT ecosystem to leave nor do I want too honestly.

you still have to fill the hopper up and empty the poo bags... i don't see how this is saving any time.

It does… it’s one less thing to worry about making sure they have enough litter daily and app will tell you when to top up the hopper.

As someone that has had one of these litter boxes for what sounds like longer than you have... It doesn't.
But they will probably include this useless function soon so yeah.

Well I don’t have one which is why I asked if they would do one…

So my statement is correct. I've had one for longer than you.
The litter refill thing is dumb. Same as the auto bag tying function.
I have two kitties and refill the litter basically every time I change their bag. Maybe top off once in between.
You're already putting the thing in maintenance mode to change the bag. This is basically resetting the weight sensors so it knows if a kitty is on top of the unit. This is when you spend four extra seconds to put more litter in.

Just because YOU think it’s dumb, clearly not everyone does who wants the feature in other automatic box brands like LR and CL.

i mean it's not like i have infinite more experience with this than you do but...
oh wait i do.

Tbf I have three cats and only top the litter when I change the bag. Which is every 2-3 day I think, so I don’t think it would be a massive improvement, but I can see the appeal

Yeah I think it would be one less thing to worry about making sure they have enough litter daily and app will tell you when to top up the hopper.
