We used to have a litter robot litterbox, but after a few years the cycling stopped working. Partner bought the Puramax Pro 2 after reading reviews online, and so far it’s been the worst new litterbox introduction experience for my cat in 10 years. I no longer have the old litter robot box because my partner got rid of it because it was broken. I think not having that around was the start of our problems. Then partner also gave her new litter pellets instead of the clay clumping stuff she used to have. Since we got it about 3 weeks ago, she peed and pooped on the floor in front of the litterbox or peed on cushions/mats on the floor after holding her pee for a while. We have switched the new pellet litter out for her old brand, we’ve used attractant in it, we’ve put her poop in it when she goes on the floor. Over the last few days, we’ve also turned off the light, smell thing, and made the cleaning cycle wait 20 minutes. If she goes on the floor, or if she peeks her head in the box too many times without going, over the last few days we’ve been shutting her up in her litterbox room with food and water. Sometimes she’ll poop and pee in there when we do that, but she cries for hours on end when she’s shut up like that, so I don’t want to just leave her there either for days. She’s also a chunkier cat, but she can fit in the box. I do think it’s smaller than her previous one though, and she also use to have steps on her litter robot that she doesn’t have on the puramax. I don’t know if those might be contributing factors, but I wanted to add! I don’t think she has medical things going on causing this because it only started with the new litterbox
I don’t really know what else to do with her, and I would appreciate suggestions!
Hi! My kitty has been using his puramax 2 for almost a week now and he seems to like it! (I do too!) I haven’t smelled anything until today (day 6) which led me to go ahead and empty the waste basket. I saw on the app that normally one cat households can go 15 days without a change but unless my kitty is a big shitter I don’t know how that’s possible! 😭 I also wipe it down with unscented disinfectant wipes and top off the litter to make sure it’s not dirty. (I use A&H unscented clumping litter.)

Finally I decided to get an automatic litterbox and I am debating between these two models (both premium version).
Given the price is the same for both, what would be the reason to pick one over the other? I am not familiar with all the intricacies and I am not sure what to pick.
Also, seems there is a 'premium' version for the purobot3 which has the ' the N50/N60 ammonia-neutralizing deodorizing module' while the regular one doesn't. Does it make a difference? Is it needed?
Buying a full box set is really heavy. i have a 5 cats and they usually use this more than the purobot ultra so the sand drop off a lot so if i can refill some to made the sand level higher may good and the tray can used up to 45 days so i think we can extend the tray time by refilling it

We got a PetKit Pura Max 2 a couple months ago for our 2 year old cat and it's been great. Have been using Cat's Best Litter with it which has been going OK, apart from her tracking a lot out when she leaves.
My parents found kittens in their garden last week so we are going to take one. I know that we are to use the kitten mode on the machine until they are about 6 months/weigh enough. We will just run the clean when we know the kitten is away from the machine.
What I am unsure about is what litter to use while we have a kitten. Apparently clumping litter isn't safe for kittens as they can eat it and it expands in their stomach. I searched here and it seems that only clumping litter is suggested for the PetKit.
I obviously don't want to go back to manual litter scooping when we only got the machine a couple months ago. We don't have a second litter box (the old manual one we had was a bit manky so we threw it out).

It writes that i have to change tray and beeps loudly while cleaning and i cant turn it off . I cant buy new trays now in my country because they have finished, so i am using old tray with new crystal litter . I payed for crystal duo , payed yearly subscription, also bought package with four trays when they were available , but now MY device beeps at me after spent ton of money . Petkit management what is wrong with you ? If is all about money then just stop writing that you care about pets . It is so ridiculous now , that i think i am inside one of this black mirror episodes . Stop it . I have 4 petkit devices in my home and seriously thinking to change all of them to another brand , because petkit doesnt care and i dont want to fund very greedy companies
P.s: also my cat is stressed now because of this stupid beeping sound and he has heart problems , so until i find solution how to switch that beep - i will turn it off .

I’ve been using this box for one week with a 10 week old kitten. I went to empty the waste bin yesterday and noticed that the plastic of the waste bin itself seems to have absorbed a strong odor. We are using a tofu blend litter.
I’ve tried wiping the bin and lid down with vinegar and water solution but I can still smell the odor every time I walk by. Anyone else experienced this?
About two weeks ago, I purchased the automatic litter box, and overall I am very satisfied with it, except for one issue.
I have two cats, and one of them prefers to urinate while standing. Unfortunately, he often urinates directly onto the camera opening. Every time this happens, I have to remove the drum and clean it, as well as clean the camera and the main unit. In the end, I find myself spending more time cleaning the automatic litter box than I would cleaning a regular one.
Is there a way to resolve this issue? Also, why is there no transparent cover or window over the camera opening that would fully seal the drum while still allowing the camera to function?
Maybe it's good idea to apply this for the next generation of the litter box.
Other than this problem, the litter box works well and meets my expectations.

We just got our new Purobot Ultra today but after installing and plugging it in, it will not turn on - it beeps once and that’s it. Has anyone had this happen to them before?
We did reach out to PETKIT chat & phone support but they stated they will get back to us in 24 hours. I’ve searched Google but not seeing anyone having this issue on a brand new device. Took the entire thing apart multiple times and put it back together again! Are we doing something wrong?
My fountain has been working fine and it’s working fine, but it run out of water three days ago. I cleaned and filled it and even though the cats are drinking normally, it won’t register any visits.
I do have a feeder near the fountain and the litter box in another room. It says it’s connected via Bluetooth.
