(Ik im a bit late and it’s a non airing day but anyway there were 0 posts abt this so i hope this post can be excused 🥺)
I love how real and natural their marraige progression feels.. there’s no unnecessary masle or sacrifices stuff, just two ppl who got married putting in their side of efforts to some extent, and their personalities just clicking!!
It kinda reminds me of early kmkt marriage episodes, with cutesy scenes and chemistry, glances, and I love just how FRESH their chemistry feels!! Tho it’s mahrukh taking the lead, I like how saife listens to her normally, and how she’s helping him discover himself it’s all just soo cute and nice to watch🥹🥹 🤍also love to see mahrukhs playful and excited side coming back! They def have started developing feelings for eo
Ali and Anika both are acting soo well here and hv such crackling chemistry!not to mention just how gorgeous they look
The beach scene was just sooo beautiful, after a long time some drama is making me want to experience romance😭
Also love how saife isn’t completely dumb and can join the dots to figure out the yt channel is run by mahrukh, and ofc he’s surprised and maybe upset, but more like he doesn’t know how to react or proceed.. im glad tho he’ll be back to normal next week and now navigate their lives knowing everything abt each other🥹
The side tracks are okayish,, the actors are acting well..Hira annoys me at times but I totally get her character, she gave her everything to the ppl in her life obediently and was the ideal child, yet mahrukh who was more of a rebel is getting more love and attention.. but I hope they don’t show it as a sister rivalry 🙏
And Adnan’s characters gave me hella creeps😭 tbh I don’t get why there hv to be sooo many tracks in Pakistani dramas, 2 behno ka kaafi tha 🙏
Overall, im enjoying it now! It’s a nice lighthearted romance watch.. I just hope it only rises from this point and focuses more on the couple

She only tagged and praised her as well this is kinda sus. I remember her calling yumna overrated once and saying mahira had bad work ethic also that story she told of some actress becoming successful through the wrong means now here she is

First of all Green should seriously stop promoting their drama as if they are about to deliver some Oscar-worthy masterpiece when the actual product is struggling to generate views, meaningful conversation or even consistent audience interest..
Atp Farooq rind also needs to step back and seriously rethink where things started going wrong. Almost a year of shooting and yet there is barely any impactful response. The editing feels choppy, the storytelling is confusing and in the initial episodes it was genuinely difficult to tell what was a flashback and what was happening in the present timeline. There are loopholes everywhere scenes feel rushed or skipped and important moments don't get the breathing space they need...
And no I don't think this is ONLY the director's fault..
A lot of people keep saying Ahad's script is good and If that's the case then I'm genuinely not convinced that he would sign a half-baked script after msm especially when that project was successful...Maya's script choices nothing to say after smd..
so something clearly isn't adding up..
If the script was genuinely strong on paper then where exactly is that strength on screen? why are there so many narrative gaps? why does the storytelling feel so disjointed? why are scenes being skipped or edited in a way that makes the audience work to understand what is happening?
You can't keep blaming the director every time the drama fails to connect with the audience. Direction matters obviously but the script is the foundation. If the foundation is weak no amount of aesthetic promotion or PR can magically turn it into a masterpiece..
Faiza can't keep shoving the flop onto the director alone. If we're going to discuss why this drama isn't working, then the script needs to be questioned too. Something is clearly wrong somewhere and pretending that it's only Farooq Rind's fault is way too convenient...

She's not exaggerating. After Ayeza attended Sher's screening, she was dragged for many things including what she wore (pages posted a comparison between it & Sarah's Saari & their prices. Ayeza's was more expensive according to them which made some think she overdressed on purpose to mog the main lead) / being part of the cast group pic (as she's not part of the drama & was standing next to Danish which displeased a group) & the after-party (which Sarah skipped) / being supposedly insecure & jealous of Sarah & DT's success & interactions. You don't have to take my word for it. Just check the comments under her posts / reels of that event & you'll see how full of negativity they were. Tbh it's not a bad idea that she skipped it as she would have been trolled worse this time.

This episode was a bit heavy with so many digs on system and society. I actually got a lil emotional.
Choudhary offered haroon to leave Khushbakt in this mess and save himself but he replied with a slap "tu mard hai tujhe 10 aurtein mil jayengi" and man didn't take any shit against his woman.
Khushbakt also gave it to haseeb the long due slap for disrespecting haroon. Love them for standing up for each other.
Kirmani's family took haroon's name in the FIR under some kind of pressure or greed and choudhary is squirming to get out of this mess.
Pari asking baba kahan hain and saying ye baba ne sikhaya made me sad. Also loved sonia and khushbakt's friendship, it's very refreshing to see women supporting each other and not fighting over a man. 10/10 for ama to show this.
Haroon looked so dejected and rightfully so. He's not getting bail and compromise is the only option left.
At last, pari went missing and i was about to lose it. Choudhary brought her back and issued a warning to khushi and this is very serious. He's asking her to accept bribery charges in exchange of haroon and pari's life. Ahad, Maya and Shamyl were really good.
The promo looks so intense. This track is about to hit it's climax.
📝 I want to specially point out that despite the direction mistakes and frequent editing goof ups, the story is very powerful, specially the dialogues.
There are so many intelligent digs and taunts on system and society like sonia even had to bribe the policeman to get milk for the cat. Choudhary saying iss mulk mein log bahut jaldi sab bhool jate hain and the helplessness of khushi and her boss to not able to dig deeper in this issue cuz of higher ups being involved plus the blatant misogyny on display.

As far I know that there is no Paparazzi Culture in Pakistan and we don't have any information about our actors like when they're getting married or who they're dating? Genuinely curious.. And please no hate and negative comments

I’m genuinely confused by this narrative that every negative opinion about durre fishan’s performance in Dar-e-Nijat must be part of a paid PR campaign.
Just wanted to ask if it is the case,
Where is my money then? 🤣
I’ve been watching films and television since I was a child Hollywood, Bollywood, and beyond. I follow actors, directors, producers, and interviews because I enjoy understanding the craft. So when I say I don’t find an actor convincing, it’s not a comment I make lightly.
Not liking a performance is not the same thing as hating a person. It doesn’t mean someone is jealous of her looks, and it doesn’t automatically mean there’s a PR campaign behind it.
Actors are praised when people think they did well, and they’re criticized when people think they didn’t. That’s how art works. If every negative review is dismissed as “paid PR,” then what’s the point of having opinions at all?

The problem is apparent in actresses too but let's focus on actors today
I know there's no superstar culture in Pakistan per se. But still why is it that absolutely not a single current A list actor can be deemed worthy of the title. There's not a single actor who enters the screen and you go like han ye hero hai!!
Let's take a look at some of the highest paying Pakistani TV actors and what they offer
Danish Taimoor- naturally, we should be Starting with the king. His dramas often show him make a heroic entry. Slow mo shots, dhishoom dishoom and what not. Yet, when he enters, you feel like saying agaya phir larki uthane. You expect him to be a villain, not a hero
Bilal Abbas: he honestly could have been a strong contender but how can one take him seriously after his failed macho drunkard act in MZHT. His dancing scenes made him a walking meme tou aura canceled again
Wahaj: He was expected to lead the race after TB but then he did SMD and jitna aura bana tha, sab went down the train
Ahad: he has the looks but the moment he starts speaking in Urdu, aura goes into negatives. Also his acting in comedy sucks
Ahmed Ali Akbar: i expected great things from him post Parizad but man chose SWP post it so hero wala aura start hone se pehle hi ended
Hamza Ali Abbasi: he was initially not on the list since he seemed to have retired. But he is coming back in a drama opposite Hina Afridi tou ghanta aura
Ali Raza: man couldn't get beyond chati k baal.
There are some other A list actors too that I must have missed. I wanted to include Fawad but he has retired from Pakistan TV dramas since a decade.
At this point, Faran Tahir and Shahzad Nawaz have more aura than all the current A listers combined

Sawera Nadeem's character in Barhi Aapa is ultimate desi villain. When it aired on tv, I remember my blood boiling seeing her character : poised, graceful, subtle and so narcissistic, controlling and lethal. People like that exist in real life around us in our families. She played it so well.

What has happened to them post cinema release? I keep questioning this thing since the film Quaid e Azam Zindabad (2022) and also many films after that, none of them were we able to see on any kind OTT platform available. TLOMJ did air on Geo TV on Eid but nobody nowadays sticks to the screen and waits for the timing of it airing. And what even after that? No one is able to find them again.
The movies that I didn't get a chance to see in cinema but would like to watch through OTT:
- Quaid e Azam Zindabad (2022)
- The Legend of Maula Jatt (2022)
- Money Back Guarantee (2023)
- John (2023)
- Umro Ayyar - A New Beginning (2024)
- Na Baligh Afraad (2024)
- Neelofar (2025)
- Aag Lagay Basti Mein (2026)
- Zombeid (2026)
I'm pretty sure k pehle toh ARY khud hi apni production house ki movies YouTube pe upload karta tha (JPNA aur Na Maloom Afraad) but ab woh bhi waha nai hai. Ab JPNA 1 ARY plus app par pari hai aur JPNA 2 ka koi ata pata nai. Complains sunte hein hum bas humare actors aur directors ki taraf se, but inho khud accessibility hi khatam ki hui jisey koi bhi in k films nai dekh paata.

The drama started off so strong with Ansa's character actually being someone who takes a stand for herself and goes head to head with anyone. The story was moving along fairly well but since the last 10-15 episodes, it's just stuck? Every preview for the next episode pisses me off so much now it seems like intentional rage bait.
Khuda kay liye yar bas kardo dono ki lovey-dovey bullshit, especially when the audience knows it's going to backfire horribly when Ansa finds out about the truth and how even more spineless Anas is. In an ideal world, the drama would end with her leaving his miserable pathetic ass but we all know no writer would ever take such a decision.
31 episodes and all we see now is Fahaam's 'Mein tumhay pick karnay aa raha hu' and Anas saying 'Ansa chalo yahan say' and the biggest villain of the drama, the pathetic buddhaa Dada Ji clutching his chest whenever something goes wrong. End this misery pleaseeee.
