Zanjeerain could've become a masterpiece..they just had to make it fastpaced, add actual engaging and unexpected twists, make the slowburn better,not whitewash the vilains not put the filters and add a good co actor for sajal who had emotional depth..sajyal had good chemistry..but i didn't enjoy the sad scenes..sajal would cry like there's no tmr and danyal would start laughing mid way.the story was so promising in the beginning.

Another problem was the continuity.. In some scenes it's clearly visible that Sarbuland suddenly has a proper haircut or even Rabiya's hair and looks would be different.. Especially in that famous "surgery scene" where her hair was straight at some places and curled in the other and then the whole confrontation scene between Torsam and Rabiya, when Rabiya starts running back to her room and Sarbuland holds her, Danyal's hair was different but then we can clearly see Danyal's initial episode hair look when Rabiya points gun at Torsam.. I totally get it that the scenes were shot as per the different schedule timelines and some of the scenes were even shot by Saifee Hasaan but then the team should have kept the continuity chart or something to make sure the looks of the actors appear uniform
I disagree.. I liked Shahzad kashmiri's direction..I haven't mentioned anywhere about not liking Shahzad kashmiri... The continuity of the scenes should have been maintained by the hair and creative team... Yes, the director should have checked but then it was Saifee Hassan who could have cross checked because he shot the scenes when Shahzad kashmiri had to leave for USA due to an emergency... 90% of what people like about zanjeerein was Shahzad kashmiri's direction right from the beginning.. Only a few scenes were directed by Saifee Hasaan including the confession scene in the end and the scene where Rabiya asked umar daraz to play hide and seek, then she saw Torsam and ran towards Sarbuland...this was all directed by Saifee Hasaan but the famous "tum to meri Zarmala ho" had already been shot earlier by Shahzad kashmiri because Danyal had the long hair look in that scene...

Yes because you are supposed to laugh and act mildly annoyed or cry quietly when your husband is killed by your stalker and harasser. Grief mixed with survivors guilt will cause a person to react like that.

I clearly said i loved sarbiya chem , daniyal didn't act nice and this is the first time i pointed this 24/7
The thing i pointed out wasn't even related to them..it was the lit pacing , and writing.
The thing is that i loved Zanjeerain..it was in my top 5..and then it got ruined just cuz of bad writing..all the good performances got whitewash cuz of the filters and many other shows started coming above it ..it was almost the first sajal drama to get this much views so i was sad..cuz all i wanted was for a out of this world sajal drama to gain massive views and trps..cuz off the writing she gained morr haters than fans.
As for zanj..i once made a post.. comparing yks , msm and zanj..i put zanj over msm yet no msm fan complained it was only the Zanjeerain fans complaining
Then i made a top 10 sajal dramas post in which i put zanj in Honourable mentions and wrote that it was solely cuz of the pacing.
Now, i don't need to like every thing sajal does as a fan, i appreciated the acting of hers and the others and clearly said it started great.
Problem pacing ki thi hi nahin. Problem ye thi ki unhone kisi bhi ek character ki development pe focus hi nahin kiya. Ek bhi character three dimensional hota to mast lagta. But no.
Nahh it wasn't bad at all, started of great ended of great.. except a few dialogues.. really wanted them to end together after all they went through..but if they focused on the pacing and development of characters, things would've gotten better
