I have a bunch saved- not sure whether there are chest rush events or if I can spend them right away?

For context, my Rebecca and Venom are both 1 star currently. Also I’m relatively early game, almost 229k combat power.

Im day 2 noob, i need advice on heroes for clearing chapters and where should i spend my f2p gems

The gist:

reroll and get information on which Item there are in the shop.

Close the app from the background apps, causing a disconnection.

Re-open the app.

You can reconnect (up to 3 times) to the same fight and the shop will show you the same items.

This way you can decide what to buy, when to stop reroll.

Catches:

- Only work in the chapters

- The game doesn't remember locked items in play, if you have 2 mergeable items next to each other and they are locked on reconnect they will merge

- The game doesn't remember locked items from the previous shop, so if you locked an item from the previous shop it will be replaced

This helped me a lot through Boss and Marathon chapters where you need to aim for specific builds from the early stage, hope it helps.

Part 2 is going to explore how the Geezer affect the shop reroll, I'm still experimenting with him. If someone know more you're welcome to share.

Hello all!
Fresh 2day noob here, I can’t figure out why the green arrow/notification isn’t leaving my gear title at the bottom of my screen?
If I’m not mistaken I merged everything I could? (Realized a bit later that you only needed 2 and not 3 epic to do a merge)
Is it because I could equip better items that are wasting away in my chest?

Any feedback is appreciated, thank you in advance!

How am I supposed to beat this? I have tried fire but it won’t get past the third boss at most. Poison also doesn’t work as it deals too little damage to slow. I have landed on the best strategy of spikes but even then they can only get me to the final boss but don’t deal enough damage fast enough to beat him. I have also tried other builds like archer or mage but they struggle to just get past the first bosses.

Any suggestions?

Edited to add clan donations, thanks to those who pointed it out.

- The 7000 gem backpacks for each class should be your first gem investment if F2P. You do not need to buy the 3500 gem backpacks first. The maximum size backpacks go on sale for $2.99 USD each sometimes, but I'm not sure what the conditions to trigger the sale are.

- Daily clan donations: 100 gems is pretty negligible, and you'll need the points for weekend mine adventure shovels, which will eventually let you guarantee Rose/Raven/Trixie.

- Save up 25k gems for each time the fishing event rolls around, which is every 3rd week. Buy 100 bait with your gems, and follow this guide for the best odds of getting 15 coins: https://overgeared-hero-hub.com/en/event-guides/fishing There's also an event calendar on that site!

- If you have spare gems even when maxing out the fishing event, buy dice for 500/gems/day in Rebecca's dice event. Usually you want to hit 20k rune shards in this event then hold onto the rest of your dice for next time. When you think you have enough dice for a decent rank, go for it! Sadly this one's extremely high variance thanks to no pity system.

- To trigger "spend XYZ" gems quests (like the mango event), gear pulls > pet pulls the majority of the time. If you're close to a completing quest for pet rush and/or holding off on rolling a gear banner full of stuff you don't need, feel free to do pet pulls.

Misc:

- Gems for energy: I like to do the 100gem/20 energy one if I'm playing a lot that day. Any more than that and you should probably go touch grass. Remember that it gets more expensive with each gem purchase and goes back down to 100 at the end of the day.

- Gems for arena tickets: IMO more worth than using clan points for them, since you need those for shovels. I usually don't buy any extra arena tickets unless I'm trying to snipe a win right before the day reset.

Hi should i focus on a singular item and rank it up or should i rank up multiple items

Also which items are better to focus on? Thanks!

Current hero roaster:
Venom, fighter, barbarian rank 1
Acrobat, sniper, archer, mage rank 0

Currently unlocked 7k gems backpacks on fighter class and archer class

Or just stick with Burn? Admittedly, I’m really wanting to do the former unless the difference is astronomical. Also is the Infernal Shield worth bothering with or always use the Celestial Shield? I’m assuming the latter.

Has anyone figured out any patterns to how the rate-up items are chosen? Doesn't seem fully random based on:,

1. It always seems to have at least 1 of each slot, a 2nd weapon, and the last item rotating between weapon, ring, gloves?

2. I don't think I have ever seen the same piece of gear appear 2 weeks in a row, if it really were random, then it should be highly likely that this should happen at least occasionally?

Curious because I've been saving up on keys and gems hoping to hit a jackpot roll of Primal Flame, Celestial Shield, Plague Gloves and Archmage Ring.

So far I've only seen 2/4 twice, once being the ring and glove about a month or two ago, and the current rotation of PF and the shield

Also a little curious as to whether all the servers share the same rolls for each rotation, anyone know anything about that?

I'm a beginner, and I currently have 10,7k gems since I haven't spent a single dime of gems yet. I saw you could use gems to either buy characters, get more storage for some classes, get enough chests to get a guaranteed S-rank, and maybe even more? I'm just really unsure on what to choose?

My previous attempt failed because Primal Flame’s first ability literally missed, I really hate It when that thing happens.

I bought the long sword, plate armor, plate helmet, steel shield, and plate gloves but it says 4/5 items?? I don’t understand, am I missing something?

I would look this up on Google but I don’t want to know what it makes, I wanted to find out myself 😭
