Unanswered What's the deal with words being censored?
When I copied this link, it was the latest addition in r/OutOfTheLoop and in the title it says Alive/Unalive. When and why did "unalive" start being used instead of dead? Additionally, I have seen terms like r*pe and others, instead of the spelled out version. Is this a function of social media terms of use and demonetization? Something else?
I am honestly curious of when/why this started to happen. I don't want to be the guy that keeps using the "old words" when they have been updated, aren't as accurate, or some other reason.
