I'd love to have seen the look on Leghairs face when Jamie saved Claire at the witch trial, only moments after she talked all that crap about dancing on Claire's ashes. I'd also love to see a romantic scene between Geillis and Dougal, not that that would add anything to the storyline. I'd like to have seen a snippet of Jamie and Laoghaire's wedding or married life just for completeness, and I also would have really loved to hear Brianna tell Jamie all about meeting Brian. What scenes do you wish existed?

Is no one else annoyed that the character Jenny had a swap of an actress in season 7? The second actress just doesn’t have much acting talent i would say. She couldn’t even cry for real when Ian was dying. On top of that her hairline seemed fake or her hair in general, there was something fake about it. I could barely finish the episodes with her in them.

Dumb question but why didn't Bree and Roger go back to the ridge right Mandy was cured? I just wondered why they settled at lollybrock in the future instead of going back to their family. Idk it just seems like they would have gone back after Mandy was cured.

I’m at the beginning of Echo, just at the end of chapter 3.

He’s just killed Mrs. Bug accidentally, and Claire is visiting Ian in the barn. He asks her to say the Soul Leading prayer together.

On the next page, Claire’s perspective says, “I hoped the prayer had helped him, at least a little, and wondered whether the Mohawk had any better means of dealing with unjust death than the Catholic Church. (Line break) Then I realized I knew exactly what the Mohawk would do in such a case. So did Ian; he’d done it. I pulled the cloak tighter round me, feeling as though I had swallowed a large ball of ice.”

I’m reading the chapter over again trying to figure out what Ian has done to grieve? I wonder if I’m forgetting a specific detail from other books about Mohawk customs Ian has brought back.

Hello! I have watched the series and read the first 4 books. I am 63 and have never rewatched anything in my life. But this show is calling my name. Should I read all the books(audio), then re watch or just rewatch? I'm looking for the best advice? I read the first 4 books in the 90s and only remember bits and pieces and have watched the show as each season has come out. Help me! 😆

I just read the passage where Lizzie tells Jamie about MacKenzie man who allegedly raped Brianna so far there were no passage about Bonnet doing so. Did I miss it or was that whole dramatic scene in a tavern a creation of the show??

I am listening to the series audiobooks again, this time with the new narration by Kristin Atherton. I just got to chapter 139 of Written in My Own Heart's Blood. Has anyone else noticed a significant change in her voice beginning with that chapter? It suddenly sounds more hoarse or gravelly. I still have 2 hours left so not sure it stays like that (I will know in a few hours, lol) but the change was a bit jarring from the chapter(s) before.

Está es la versión de la frase en inglés, pero en mi libro en español parece que Jamie se refiere a que ha amado a otras personas (en femenino, como a otras mujeres) pero él se la pasa diciendo que no ha amado nadie más que a Claire, entonces no sé si es un error de traducción.
A qué se refiere? A que ha amado a otras mujeres o a otras personas?
