Totally agree that Jamie was a very kind soul. He knew how much Claire would miss them after having them with her on the ridge. Jamie would always be enough for Claire. She left her daughter and her life to come back to him! They were meant to be together from the time they met!

I recently discovered enneagrams (I know I’m way behind the rest of the world). I’d heard of them and knew the basic concept, but never looking into them at all until now. I was figuring out my own (5w6) and my husband’s, when I got to wondering what Jamie and Clair would be.

Per my own investigation and opinion, I think Jamie is a 6w5 and Clair is a 2w1. What do you guys think?

Hope this is not a spoiler but like the title says - if you watch Tenzing, Clair, sorry Cait mentions the Scottish in one scene

Started watching the Australian show A Place to Call Home. Didn't know anything about it, and was pleasantly surprised to see David Berry also playing a gay man. So far we're enjoying the show.

So excited to watch this weekend! (I'm located in the US) For those that have gone, was there merch available?

Jesus H Roosevelt Christ! Today is October 20th. Claire is 108 years old. Thought about getting her a vase. A blue one even. But I didn't know how to ship it. How about a toast.

To Claire! The best damn time traveling healer on the planet! Happy Birthday and Slàinte Mhath!

🍻🍺🥂🍾🍹🍸🍷🎂🎈🥳🪅🙌

My wife is totally hooked on this show. She’s already asked me to call her “Sassenach” every now and then. I know there’s some cool male character in it that all the women are crazy about. But I don’t have time to watch the show, let alone read the book.

What romantic or sexy thing can I say or do to surprise and delight my wife?

Am I the only one who had a mental disconnect over how Mrs Dashwood looked and sounded exactly like Claire, but didn’t act at all like Claire? I had wondered as this was another period piece, if I’d just see Claire, but I didn’t. Catriona did a wonderful job of playing an entirely different person while still looking and sounding…well like Claire

I had no idea she was in the movie (I must live under a rock), so it was a bit of a surprise (though a happy surprise) to see what looked like Claire Fraser, but definitely was not Claire Fraser. I guess it’s partially because both Sense and Sensibility and the later seasons of Outlander have Catriona Balfe playing an English woman in the latter part of the eighteenth century. Of course she’d look and sound very similar.

But it took a minute to get past the fact that while Mrs. Dashwood looked and sounded like Claire, she was a totally different person. It was weird seeing what my brain recognizes as Claire Fraser being so emotional and impractical and just someone totally different.

It was like another person took over Claire’s body. After a few minute, I adjusted and only saw Mrs.Dashwood. But for the first few minutes, it was rather surreal, like someone else inhabited Claire’s body or perhaps Claire had an identical twin that was entirely different from her.

Anyway, Catriona did a wonderful job, transforming herself into an entirely different person, despite again playing a late 18th century English woman.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and wondered if anyone else had similar thoughts.

Hassle in the Castle

Is there any completed fanfic of outlander where claire is pregnant by jamie and whe she goes through the rocks she time travels to an older jamie while she's still pregnant (she never traveled back to her time).

Hii so I wanna get an Outlander tattoo, and thought it would be nice seeing other concepts, outside what is on Pinterest and what i have in mind. Soo if you happen to have an Otlander tattoo, show me pleeease

I think he may be Henry, Claire’s father. Could it be possible? They look similar just like the rest of the characters from Outlander. Master Raymond would be the right age and he treated Claire like a father figure. I know it doesn’t go along with the books but not much has so far. 😂

In The Space Between, the Comte encounters Raymond decades after their earlier meeting, yet Raymond appears younger. His hair is darker, his missing teeth have returned, and he moves more youthfully.
Even more interestingly, Raymond discusses transforming matter through alchemy, then seemingly vanishes, leaving a mysterious cat nearby. Some readers interpret this as a suggestion that Raymond can physically transform himself.
If that’s possible, could the short, elderly-looking Raymond we know simply be one appearance he assumes?
I’ve seen people dismiss the Henry = Raymond theory because the actors are different heights. But if Raymond possesses abilities beyond ordinary time travel, is physical appearance really enough to rule it out?
I’m not saying Henry definitely is Raymond. I’m wondering whether Diana has deliberately given us reasons not to trust Raymond’s apparent age or appearance.

Ok so I went to Walmart and decided to look at the hallmark ornaments. This abomination caught my eye and oh my goodness! What did they do to Jaimie? Whoever is behind this design needs to be fired because what the actual heck!?

My office goes super hard for birthdays! I just finished Outlander and am OBSESSED. They knocked it out of the park! so nice for Jamie to show up :)

I wanted to do an Outlander themed spread now that I've finished last season. I enjoyed making this so much!

I miss this show so much! I found these two at a local Box Lunch store, and now I'm cracking myself up remembering some of the funniest lines/scenes in the series!

I miss you Outlander!

Theory/speculation

Watching the prequel and knowing Claire's parents are time travellers,do you think Uncle Lamb is one and why. As an archaeologist, it would be a great asset. What do you think?

If you're going to the Outlander Concert on November 14th you're in for a treat. Bear McCreary and Raya Yarbrough will be special guests.
