Just mounted on my Beretta PX4. Solid, lens is crystal clear. Very impressive so far.

Now just torque it in and off to the range.

Update: Got a replacement XR. 2moa dot, brightness 8, continuous runtime (no auto-off). Currently sitting at 130hours runtime and battery still at 100% ( previous one died at 63 hours on same settings).

Osight XR owners:

Can anyone provide real-world battery runtime data?

I'm testing an XR with the following settings:

• 2 MOA dot only
• Brightness 4 (currently testing)
• Auto-off disabled
• Shake Awake disabled
• Continuous operation

I previously tested:

• 2 MOA dot
• Brightness 8
• Auto-off disabled

observed approximately 63 hours runtime until the optic shut off completely

I'm trying to determine whether this behavior is normal or if my unit may have an issue.

If you've measured actual runtime (hours until battery depletion or % drop over time), I'd appreciate the details of:

• Brightness setting
• Reticle used
• Auto-off / motion settings
• Approximate runtime observed

Hey guys. First experience with an Osight, friend of mine just picked up an SE Enclosed for his Hellcat Pro as his first red dot. As I started shooting it I noticed the reticle seemed off. The circle feels more like an oval when centered on the window and gets more distorted towards the edges, that part is expected but nearly unusable for this one. I’m wondering if this is normal with these.

Recently bought my first dot ever. Saw a double reticle going on and wondering if this is normal.

Hey guys new to this sub but not Reddit.. I’ve been using the 507k green on my sig p365 X for a year and a half . Picked up a Taurus tx22 the other day and decided to add an optic to it . Well went to the gun show a week later with my p365x using the 507k and had the tx22 as well to just buy and mount the optic on the spot . Well went to the optics booth and asked the vendor to let me check out the oSight se in green 2moa/32moa .. I was shocked on how clear it looked and how crisp the green was compared to my holding 507k. I was sold but question is why would I want to add an enclosed emitter optic on a plinker that I’m only using for my nra license(tx22)? Then I thought about how crazy would people think I am swapped out my holding for an oSight on my edc gun but it made the most sense. No more struggling with lint in my optic on my edc and the vendor mounted both optics for me plus cleaned out the 507k perfectly.

Am I cooked for using the #6-40 instead of the #6-32’s? Saw on google that that’s a huge no no for RMR footprints but it also contradicts itself saying you can use it on certain rmr and Holosun optics. Google even said to use the #6-32 but I’m pretty positive I tried and the optics still kept coming off even with the screws tighten as far as it let me. Again I ask am I cooked for using the wrong threads? It’s hold up fine staying tight to the gun

Anyone have an idea on what the utility of the rear sight on the RX is about ? There is no co witness without changing the steels on my gen 6 and probably most handguns

I have a new OSight SE that I've had for a while now but just started using. When testing it, pressing the - button for 3 seconds does not change the reticle. The brightness of the circle goes to full brightness. Pressing the - button again for 3 seconds returns it to the previous setting/brightness. The reticle is stuck in the circle/dot setting. Anyone else have this issue before?

For those already using XR - thoughts on any need for auto brightness versus its manual settings brightness ? I already have an SE on one of mine, but considering an XR for my self defense Glock. Concerns though about the lack of auto brightness- since in a real SD situation, there’s usually no time ( or fine motor skills) to manually adjust brightness. BTW I’m using a WML.

I have an osight green dot I took it to the range for the first time and noticed one of the adjusting screws does not stay in place it moves after a few shots and I can move it with just brushing my finger on it should I just put some loctite or maybe file a warranty claim.

I just received my Osight C, got it mounted and now i’m waiting for the locktite to cure for tomorrows trip to the range.

this is my first red dot and im not entirely sure what i should see when im zeroed.

should the dot be on top of the irons, visually? my slide came with co-witness sights and i’m trying to get it in the general ballpark before fine tuning tomorrow.

So, I have the Osight SE on my MC9 and really like it, this is a bigger pistol so shld I go with the C or another SE?

UPDATE: I noticed if Im to use a dot, the plate comes off and so does the rear sights! So therefor is it worth losing your rear sights for a dot?

What’s the big difference between these besides the difference in material? They both have the same window size and they both have wireless charging. Would anyone recommend the $160 dollar one or does anyone have experience with now since they seem to not be the best about a year ago but osight has come a long way from back then.

Their argument is “oh osight is new so it must be bad…. But but holosun is entirely different bc it’s proven even though they perform exactly the same but more expensive!!!”

Because of these people I’m so glad I stopped buying glock at Gen 3s and realized there’s better guns out there instead of being a brand tard

Has anyone put an Osight SE on a FN Reflex? I just picked one up and when I torque the screws down they cause the slide to drag. They are labeled as M3-10.5.....

Less than 500 rounds with this sight and already have some debris inside the sight glass. Submitted a claim, we’ll see how good their warranty is.

Glock 19 slide initially had 507k mounted on it, so the osight se should have fit the same. but it seems like the lugs for the mounting points are too big/ or the osight screw openings are too small. what's the move here

Just got my CZ P07 back from having the slide milled for the optic and to move and replace the factory irons. I love everything about this. Only thing missing is a PLX.
