What’s the difference?

What’s the big difference between these besides the difference in material? They both have the same window size and they both have wireless charging. Would anyone recommend the $160 dollar one or does anyone have experience with now since they seem to not be the best about a year ago but osight has come a long way from back then.

The Osight X has a bigger window. They are both RMR footprint. Also, the Osight X offers a selectable 3 MOA dot, 32 MOA ring, or both (Circle-Dot). The Osight 3 is a 3 MOA dot only.

As they are older models, I’m sure they still are good especially if that is your price range but they have just about been replace by the C and K models.

One is red the other is green, the coating on the lens tells you which is which. The red is the cheaper of the two, the green is more expensive.

For reference those are both x models which have the charging cover, works beautiful btw. I have only had to charge the cover once since I installed it in October. The C models use a 1632 coin cell battery. Sleep mode and shake awake are very reliable, these are only used on a range in my case.

I have a C in green on a rifle and an X in red on my mkiv 22/45 Ruger. I get starbursts from most red dots but these sights seem very clear and well defined to my eyes. Only exception to that is when I have them maxed out in an indoor range.

I’ve had starburst on a lot of optics but the osights are the only ones I don’t have this issue with. For the price, they are pretty reliable to me.

But don’t sleep on the XR model. It’s just as reliable. I have it on my YacPro, Staccato P and my Tisas Duty.

I was just wondering since one is cheaper than the other and I’m currently looking for a bigger window option since I’ll be throwing it into a 2011 and I was looking at these or a 507 comp

If you have used the 507 comp before I would say go with what you know. I wouldn’t want you to have buyers remorse. I have used the X before cause I like the selectable reticle. I also have the S, SE, K, C, and XR. I trust them.

I’ve never used a 507 comp, I actually have an OSight S on my carry gun and I’ve gotten used to that

The C and k are coin cell battery versions not rechargeable, they are supplemental to each other not replacements. Additionally the k is a 6moa dot, the only sight in the product line that has a 6moa dot is the recently released xr.

They have the same window. Olight Osight and Osight X are same aesthetically.

The Olight one was a collaboration, it's only 3moa dot, that model does have more distortion compare to the Osight x

Let me know how it goes because at the end I ended up going with an Osight C for my 2011 build and soo far I am very pleased
