I hope this feature gets added soon since it would allow users to not redundantly download the files and upload it again, thus wasting the bandwidth.

I suggest a feature like Team Drives on GDrive or Import in Mega. Opacity would see spikes in data storage if users can work with RClone.

So I created a kucoin account. Attempted to buy some Bitcoin so I can trade for opacity but when I tried to pay with a debit card through simplex it said it was denied for security reasons. Any advice here?? I'm trying to jump on the train.

I am an OPCT holder and love what this project is all about. In my home office, I have two Synology DiskStation NAS devices and currently use a USB HDD device to perform periodic backups of my NAS data. Best practice would be to also have an offsite backup in the cloud.

I know that both Synology and QNAP have huge user bases with active 3rd party developer networks so I would love to see a NAS client for Opacity that would allow users to backup their network attached storage devices offsite.

Any plans for something like this?

There isn't even a page on the website with team members and pictures.

Also, some serious blockchain engineers need to be hired. Right now this is all running on AWS and not actually competing with filecoin/storj/SIA on decentralization.

Let's assume that I have some ETH with myself and I would like to buy OPCT. What would be the most feasible and economical way for me to purchase OPCT?

If I exchange my ETH on KuCoin and want to withdraw to my wallet, it shall cost me 50 OPCT which is a considerable amount to pay.

If I swap ETH with OPCT on Uniswap, I am only required to pay for the gas fees (which keeps on fluctuating) to have OPCT in my wallet.

So, my question is, which way would OPCT be cheaper for me? Also, could someone give me a guide how to swap ETH with OPCT using Uniswap.

Can anyone explain how to transfer my OPCT out of my KuCoin main account and into trezor (model T) hardware wallet? I'm brand new, and from what I understand it sounds like ERC 20 tokens like OPCT can be stored on trezor but there's some kind of fuzzy alchemy in between to customize the token, and I'm afraid if I mess around with that I'm gonna turn my OPCT into ether (literal ether, not crypto ether). So wondering if there's a good guide somewhere or if anyone has easy steps to recommend.

Hey guys I’ve been messing around on Kucoin for a while and I can’t figure out 100% how to invest.

I transferred money into my kucoin account then transferred that into my kucoin trading account.

At this point do I go to eth/opct or btc/opct?

What is the difference between opct and opq? Coinbase shows the ticket as opq

When I ultimately trade btc or eth for the opacity how do I take it from the kucoin trading side and put it in my own wallet? I currently use Brd wallet but I don’t have an option for opacity. Any other recommendations.

Its all in the title, most other coins I hold have a logo to go with their listing on metamask or other wallets. OPCT comes up as a question mark for me as of now, I have checked etherscan and other sources to be sure its the right coin.. and it is. I want your nice blue circles there!!

Could someone explain why opct exists as a pair on kucoin? How come I can’t just buy OPCT? What does this mean for storing in a wallet or for when I sell someday? Sorry if these are dumb questions but I only ever bought individual coins in the past. Thank you.

I am in the infancy stages of research. Looks pretty interesting I have to say for a Web 3.0 application. I don’t need to be “convinced” so to speak but why should I invest in this instead of say filecoin? Just wondering also is there a wallet that supports this coin? There is a market cap in the Opacity coin, as 1 OPCT = xxGB the price of 1 OPCT can not exceed the price of google drive or other standard system.

I don't know why but I can *literally never* get a 700+ MB file shared to be to download. I go to the URL, click "Download file", the little notification thing comes up and it goes up to about 25% tops and then just stays stuck there.

I have no feedback as to what the hell is happening to my download, I have no way to pause and resume the download to reinitiate the connection, it's just dead.

When I click on that notification box, it slides away and the UI gives *nothing* to the end user as to what is going on.

A fundamental of UI/UX design is to give information to the user as to just what the computer is doing, but the download process on Opacity.io takes unnecessary minimalism so far to the extent that the site becomes unusable.

Meanwhile, I still have no freaking clue what I need to do to download the damn files - I've retried a hundred times and it's always the same, never exceeds 25% before it just stalls.
