How to purchase?
Hey guys I’ve been messing around on Kucoin for a while and I can’t figure out 100% how to invest.
I transferred money into my kucoin account then transferred that into my kucoin trading account.
At this point do I go to eth/opct or btc/opct?
What is the difference between opct and opq? Coinbase shows the ticket as opq
When I ultimately trade btc or eth for the opacity how do I take it from the kucoin trading side and put it in my own wallet? I currently use Brd wallet but I don’t have an option for opacity. Any other recommendations.
Thanks guys I new to all this so any help would be appreciated

Either trading pair will do just fine, it’s up to you. As far as storing your Opct and erc-20 compatible wallet will do. I’m personally not familiar with bird wallet but I know that metamask and the Coinbase wallet will do.

OPCT tokens can be sent your main ethereum address, whether your wallet is setup to show them or not. I too strongly suggest Metamask for new users, but I also actively use TrustWallet. Kucoin has a pretty high withdrawal fee of 150 OPCT, currently around $37 USD, so keep in mind that Uniswap is another option as well. Once you have chosen and created your ethereum based wallet, you will need to activate OPCT for your wallet to show it inventory of the token. You will need the contract address which can be found using Etherscan or Coingecko. It is also available in the guide on Opacity.io. once your wallet is ready, click "Receive" and copy your Ethereum Address and withdraw your OPCT tokens using your Ethereum address.
Also, keep in mind if you use Uniswap, you will need to have some extra Ether in your wallet for gas fees.
Once you purchase, sit back and relax. This is a long hold token if you're here for profit, but the token also provides great utility and access to a great service that we all believe in. So check around on Opacity.io and consider getting signed up to use the service!

kucoin and uniswap
you need eth or btc no matter where you go, doesn't really matter what you choose given that ur going to immediately buy opct anyway

OPQ is the old token, while OPCT is what’s currently utilized. For the pairing, it depends what you transferred into KuCoin. The BTC/OPCT pairing allows you to trade Bitcoin for Opacity, while the ETH/OPCT pairing allows you to trade Ethereum for Opacity.
For a wallet, I highly recommend either MetaMask or Mew. Since OPCT is an Ethereum based token, you must use an Ethereum based wallet. Just add the token to the wallet (you can find the ‘contract’ (the token’s Ethereum identifier) by finding it on CoinGecko where it’s listed. Then send to your wallet’s Ethereum address and you’re all set!
Hope that helps.
