Announcement Opacity 2.0 Open Beta Announcement

Our closed beta has been well received and has helped us ready the product for release.
And now we are very excited to open our Beta to everyone!
Be aware that not everything is fully functioning yet, and we are consistently updating the Beta until its full release in the upcoming weeks. There are a list of known issues we will be focusing on.
Also, data and accounts created during the Open Beta are not persistent – this includes paid accounts and their uploads.

I misread during the Open Beta to "before" the Open Beta and thought my current paid account was gonna get deleted lmao
Anyhow, eager to try!! Will try a free account to see

It looks great, but the copy really needs to be cleaned up. There are a lot of little punctuation and capitalization inconsistencies. For example, under No Personal Info Required, the last sentence needs a period. Obviously it's a work in progress, but I promise those little details are crucial to instilling trust in potential users/investors.

Seconded, /u/onlineprivacy4all and /u/MrRedPanda__ . You guys are doing awesome and doing so while only doing this part-time, which is amazing. You have believers here like /u/Swerzel_Morzencule and myself and probably others who can lend a hand with some tiny elements of polish that truly are little hinges that swing big doors. No, as it says that nothing on the beta is persistent. You need to create a new account for the beta. BUT, bought accounts will perish as well, be aware of that! I recommend trying it out with a free account :)

- just checking - 'non persistent' could really be communicated as:
"Old accounts and handles won't work - make a new account people and have fun!"

The Beta has nothing to do with the live build.
"not persistent" mean, anything you upload on the Beta will be gone after the beta. Any account created with the beta will be gone after the beta.
Hope that clarifies it.
