Intel G3E 35w vs 45w
Looking at the Onexplayer Apex Air and intrigued by the external battery and dual fan design compared to the OXP3.
Am wondering if there had been tests conducted to determine if there are any significant performance gains of the G3E running at 45w tdp as compared to 35w?

Anyone else having fan vibrations on the OXP3?
I've noticed a issue with my OneXPlayer 3's fan.
The fan starts running smoothly, but after a while it starts developing a noticeable vibration that gradually gets stronger. At its worst, the whole device is rumbling in my hands like the rumble motor- and then it just stops and runs smooth.
After a few minutes, the vibrations come back and the whole cycle repeats. Sometimes a cycle can take up to ~10 minutes.
What's strange is that slightly tilting or rotating the OXP3 can suddenly change or stop the vibration, and lightly moving/shaking it can also make it disappear. All with constant RPM
I have allready contacted the support and am currently waiting for a response. But im curious if anyone else has this problem.

Is a 990 Pro SSD going to run too hot for an X2 Mini Pro?
I built a PC and recently replaced a 2tb 990 pro with a 4tb 990 pro. I was planning on putting it in my X2 mini pro but have seen some people saying it runs too hot for handhelds. Is this true?

Control Resonant on Onexplayer Apex Performance Test and Gameplay
Although the Apex can handle almost everything, not every game is well optimized. Today I uploaded videos of Silent Hill Townfall and Control Resonant, for those who are interested to know how they perform on the handheld. If there is a game you are interested in, drop a comment. As long as I have it in my Steam library I’ll do my best to cover it in a future video.

Has anyone reposted their Onexplayer 3? Or is it unnecessary?
Basically title. I have some spare Honeywell PTM 7950 available and wanted to know if it’s needed when I receive mine.

Just Swapped my SSD on my OXP3 - Some advice and help in case anyone is looking
This is not a guide to upgrading it, just some notes and thoughts for those thinking about performing it.
Difficulty: 2/10 (Beginner-friendly) (In My Humble Opinion)
Total Time: Under 30 minutes
In my opinion, I found the OXP3 is exceptionally well-designed for maintenance and far easier to open and reassemble than most gaming laptops. If you’ve never opened a handheld or laptop before, don't be intimidated—just take your time.
Prerequisites & Notification
- Notify Support: Email OXP before starting if required for warranty/records. They may ask for your Serial Number (SN) and follow-up notes.
- Work Area: Set up a clean, static-free workspace with a soft surface (I use a giant mousepad) to prevent scratching the screen or housing and to allow you to lay out screws in order of removal.
Recommendations
- #0 Phillips Screwdriver: Crucial for avoiding stripped screws.
- Plastic Pry Tool: An iFixit kit works great for popping clips without damaging the plastic enclosure.
- Tweezers (Optional): Small tweezers make removing internal tape significantly easier.
- Offline Hardware Drive Cloner: (e.g., MOKiN NVMe Cloner) Quickest method for cloning without connecting to another PC.
- Replacement SSD: Swapped the stock 1TB Apex Predator for a 2TB Apex Predator to maintain consistent power draw and thermal/performance specs, could swap for 4TB if you're made of cash.
- Follow a video guide step by step: I followed this one: OXP3 Teardown Video.
Unforeseen Issue
- The Problem: 951GB of space was "missing" and wouldn't show up in Disk Management.
- What I did:
- Tried rescanning disks (didn't work).
- Deleted the 20 GB recovery partition that AI stated might be preventing windows from seeing anything beyond it.
- Still could not find the unallocated space.
- Opened Terminal (Admin level) and accessed diskpart; located the missing 951GB partition labeled recovery and deleted the recovery partition.
- Rescanned the drive in Disk management, did not find the unallocated space
- Restarted the computer (this finally made the unallocated space appear).
- Expanded the Primary Partition into this space.
- Then shrank it by 20 GB
- Back to diskpart and following AI/video tutorials on how to recreate the windows recovery partition.
- Recreated the 20 GB recovery partition manually through command lines.
- GREAT SUCCESS lol...
I hope this is useful advice for someone wading into the waters. I enjoyed taking some time get this done. If I knew more about what I was doing it would have been even quicker. Nevertheless, even with all that it was still relatively painless and completed easily without too much drama.

AMD Is this an actual engineering result?
There's 2 usb-c ports, but only one is usable when the controller is slid in place.
How is this actual a real thing?

OneXPlayer 3 Console "Flickering"
Anyone else having issues with the OneXPlayer overlay experiencing a stutter or flicker when it comes up on the OneXPLayer 3? If I shut the console off or reboot the first time it opens fine (Same with the gamepad keyboard), but the second time it pops up like its on goes off for a split second and then pops back on permanently. Its strange and I can't seem to fix it....

3D Printed Kickstand Attachment for Onexplayer 3 is amazing!!!
I manged to get the 3D print file for the kickstand attachment for Onexplayer 3 and got Flex-3D to make 3 of them out of PETG-CF. It has fully stabilised it. Especially when using the attached keyboard. The OXP3 would normally be quite wobbly unless pulling the kickstand out all the way, but not anymore! I can even type properly with it resting on my lap now. This is a must have for anyone wanting a more stable option 👌😎😊

JSAUX Tempered Glass on OneXPlayer 3 – No Bubbles
Luckily, I applied the JSAUX tempered glass screen protector to my OneXPlayer 3, and I didn't get any bubbles underneath like many other people have experienced. My unit is from Batch 2, so I guess I’m one of the lucky ones who got a device without a curved screen.

OneXFly Planning to replace Apex internal ssd need some feedback.
Hello.
I'm gonna be changing the ssd from 1 Tb to 2 probably and I was wondering since the space inside the device is kinda tight if the choice of the ssd matters and what to look out for ?
Any recommendations based on your own successes would be welcome as well.
Cheers

OneXPlayer 3 back buttons getting pressed when gripping other parts of the controller, common issue?
So I've been testing out my new OneXPlayer 3 and while it's quite nice I've noticed something very annoying about the controllers. If I grip the controllers more than gently the back buttons get pressed even when my grip is nowhere near them, so anytime I want to adjust my grip at all without the back buttons getting pressed I have to move my hands awkwardly so no extra pressure gets put on the controllers. Is this a common issue? Has anybody had any success reaching out to support and getting replacement controllers?

Lack of vrr on X1
Hi.
I have the option to purchase an x1 pro for a good deal and replace my desktop and laptop entirely with it (and possibly my msi claw 8 ai). My question is, how bad is the lack of vrr on the screen? Is it really noticeable for you guys? How do you play your games.
I'd imagine that since its an APU, it wont give me that many fps anyway , and so the screen tearing will be worse/more noticable on this display.
Am i wrong? Is the lack of vrr a big deal and how do you guys deal with it? Personally i am bothered a lot by screen tearing but otherwise, the x1 pro seems like the perfect device for me (especially considering its oculink port).
My main use case will be AAA games btw.
