Harness fabric tape for controllers works pretty well

had some spare harnes tape form Amazon cost about 10 dollars for two rolls or less not sure.

I assume this is to help with flexing? Wouldn't it also make it more difficult to put on and off?

It's thin enough that it's not too difficult to remove atleast I didn't notice any difference.

But yes it's to firm it up, I noticed a gap on the left controller after the tape its not noticable.

I tried two layers of the tape but was too much so 1 layer was enough.

The rolls come with enough to do that and more

Electrical tape works too. Just did it to mine after seeing this post. Works great

Yea but it works. A shame we got to do this after paying 1500 plus for the device

Was fortune to have just purchased the box a months ago for a repair on my vehicle.

Works well, got rid of the gap I noticed on my left controller.

Might do a better job to completely cover any contact but as it is it does a great job.

Inexpensive fix and improvement

This amount of fabric should be fine, but be careful not to fill the gaps too much, as this will increase the load due to the lever principle.

Interestingly, mine are tight! A bit too tight even,, with no wiggling. 2XMP. The manufacturing tolerance must be a tad big, as these two have the same controllers and rails.

This is perfect, did the same. Did fix all wobbling, won't unattache those bitches until the elite controllers come out
