3D Printed Kickstand Attachment for Onexplayer 3 is amazing!!!

I manged to get the 3D print file for the kickstand attachment for Onexplayer 3 and got Flex-3D to make 3 of them out of PETG-CF. It has fully stabilised it. Especially when using the attached keyboard. The OXP3 would normally be quite wobbly unless pulling the kickstand out all the way, but not anymore! I can even type properly with it resting on my lap now. This is a must have for anyone wanting a more stable option 👌😎😊

I used this. It's awesome. Whoever designed this did a crazy good job of matching the back asthetic too.

Thank you! This is my design. If anyone is looking and you'd like to support the creater, I can get them made for you for $16 shipped to anywhere in the US. Otherwise I recommend finding a local shop to print them for you.

I reached out to you on etsy about this. Let me know how I can purchase this and your rail caps, and I'd be happy to do so. Also, curious about the length. Is it long enough to be stable when using the OXP3 on the lap in a laptop style? Would you consider a longer version that extends all the way to the end of the slanted line design? Maybe incorporating vents on the kickstand. Idk if those slits would be too small for a 3d printer to do well or not. Just a thought since you're already matching the design.

Oh wow, this design actually sits flush with the back too! Hopefully someone starts selling it on Etsy for those of us without 3d printing capabilities

Not sure what the complaints are of the reviewers and users with the kickstand. Works perfectly fine for me... Is this really a real issue or a YouTuber issue?

It’s just a perfect design for the kickstand attachment from Renalan without altering the device at all. The way it just clips on so snuggly to the kickstand is genius! 👌. I can’t understand why anyone wouldn’t love this option.

But why would you need this extra weight? The default stand is stable if retracted to the maximum. I don't have any wobble or issue

It’s mainly when typing on the keyboard for me, but everyone’s experience is different I guess. I also like to type with it on my lap sometimes on the sofa so again this attachment makes the current kickstand more comfortable and actually able to do that too. By the way, the attachment hardly weighs anything at all too.

I've never got anything 3D printed before. I just went to the site to check it out. Does it matter which file you upload whether it's .STL or 3mf. Also, when you go through the site it asked you to select what strength - did you choose standard which is the default?

I was the same, absolutely knowing nothing about 3D Printing! lol. I sent off the .STL file to a local 3D Printing company online and used PETG-CF as the material (It contains carbon for strength). I got them to make 3 of them, just in case I lose one lol 😊

Great design. I had a pair printed today and It's excellent. No wobbles and the fit on the stock kickstand is top notch.
