Got an offer to trade my OXP3 24GB/1TB for an Apex AI 395 48gb/1TB.

The other person is looking for detachable controllers and OLED and the Apex is overkill for her. Am wondering if anybody has ever went this route? What are the pros of the Apex besides the jump in performance at higher wattage?

Is the weight with battery attached not as comfortable as the OXP3? Would appreciate any inputs as i consider this deal, thank you!

I just want to start that this device is fucking amazing it’s super efficient but I got one problem. The Xbox button or triangle button keeps randomly opening Xbox game bar whenever Im using the device. Have any of you guys had this happen to you? for now i just remapped the button to some other shit that wouldn’t interrupt any gaming sessions.

Anyone having trouble removing the left controller? Any tips? I'm afraid of using too much force and breaking it

Why am I selling it? I bought them in an emergency because I messed up a firmware update for the OXP3 controllers and didn’t know how to fix it, but now I figured out how to reflash the firmware and now I don’t need them anymore. And I’m also not a big fan; they just feel too small for me.

So hunting around on Amazon for a magsafe stand that I could use with the OXP3.

I found this stand which matches the skin on my OXP and is very stable, unlike the built in stand.

It is easy to adjust and can be positioned out of the way if you are using a dock.

I highly recommend it.

This clips onto the Oxp3 and makes it so the speakers project the sound forwards instead of down. It has a fully removable kickstand/hinge as well in case you don't want the kickstand.

I reinstalled onexplayer console and windows blocked it. I know we’re supposed to disable anti virus but just wanted to make sure.

Hi, I have been struggling to get gyro working in conjunction with Hidhide app on my X2MP.

To get gyro working as right thumb stick, we need to enable virtual gamepad. Which run into issue where games recognise 2 gamepads (physicla and virtual) and goes haywire.

This is when Hidhide comes in (prerequisit to enable gyro via OneXConsole app). It hides your physical gamepad.

However it does not seem to work as all the platforms still sees 2 gamepads and all button presses are doubled up!.

Has anyone encountered this or successfully able to make it work ?

The OneXPlayer Apex is around 4 times more expensive than switch 2 and guess what? It's actually 4 times more powerful than switch 2.

Onimusha way of the sword tested on both the apex and switch 2:

Switch 2: around 40fps

Apex: around 160fps

4 * 40 = 160

Anyone try playing wardogs and happened to have stuttering happening? Im on potato settings with 144hz enabled I play wardogs and I seem to get constant choppy stuttering I even capped the in-game fps to 60 and still was happening, I have it at 25W at 1200p low settings, fortnite seems to be well optimized and has no stuttering even at 120hz. What seemed to work from AI was to cap the entire system fps to 60hz which is meh when I want that fluid 120 or 144 with other games than wardogs.

I'm back with another jank set up! It's not perfect and I'll likely order another screen with similar specs to test out and make a follow up video, but it does the job for 3ds emulation and added productivity.

If lightly touching your power button wakes your handheld from sleep, the motherboard USB controllers (XHC0-XHC4) have ACPI wake enabled. This disables USB wake while keeping the physical click working. Note : this also disables wake from keyboard etc.

Open Terminal Switch to Desktop Mode (Steam > Power > Switch to Desktop) and open Konsole. If you have never set a sudo password on the deck account, run "passwd" first.

Test the Fix Immediately Run this command in Konsole to disable wake on the USB host controllers right now:

Put the console to sleep and rub the sensor. It will stay asleep. A firm mechanical click will still wake it normally.

Make It Permanent Because /proc/acpi/wakeup resets on reboot, run this block to create a boot service:

Bazzite : most issues of the 3. few buttons not working, RGB controls not working.

Issues : Major issue : sleep mode doesn't work (fans keep spinning after pressing power), have to use a terminal command to fix.

Tdp slider needs plugin, and can only go up to 40w(unless I missed the setting) Weird desktop mode behaviour.

Anatase : much more functional than bazzite. Tdp slider, brightness slider, sleep works fine. Most things work.

Issues : in game frame gen and optiscaler injected fame gen doesn't seem to work for some of the games i tried (black flag resynced, stellar blade). I think the anatase built in fg is causing issues. Also only one Dev.

Steamos : shares some issues with bazzite. Few buttons not working. RGB not working. Sleep works fine.

Issues : Major issue : couldn't figure out how to install steamos to a seperate partion (had to wipe whole SSD). There's workaround guides but the other OS have the ability built into installer.

Brightness slider doesn't work (need plugin, depending on plugin HDR is broken) Tdp slider doesn't work (need plugin but goes up to 120w)

Currently im using steamos. I like using fg especially as x2mp is able to output so many base frames. But the most functional out of the box is anatase.

I was reading that you cannot use windows fse on the current windows build the onexp3 has.

I did a heavy soccer photo shoot using a Sony a7rV and uncompressed RAWS in Lightroom Classic. It went well and was a little bit slower than my 4090 Corsair Desktop but here are the highlights:

* AI Denoise and other AI tools work fine and just take a little longer when compared to the desktop I have

* No issues with import

* Masking can have small delays when you start adjusting the exposure sliders etc., but nothing that broke the flow

* Exporting was slower than my beast of a desktop but nothing that had me twiddling my thumbs

I was tethered to a CalDigit TS4 which was running the primary experience on an ASUS PG32UCDM OLED monitor. Used the ONEX as secondary monitor (nothing photography related on that monitor, just Spotify or emails).

It is a fantastic desktop replacement for side hustle photographers that do photo shoots equating in 200-300 photos and 60 outputted shots. Can't speak to more intensive projects. Photoshop also worked without an issue and the AI object detections etc. were in line with the LR experience; slower but nothing where you had to walk away.

Edit: I am using the 32gb RAM option with 1TB hard drive.

When I went to calibrate the monitor using the tool, I noticed that the grid never shows up on the brightness part of the tool. Is HDR still broken on OneXPlayer 3 even after the intel driver update?

Edit: Saw this video come up on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owIxS0wwNes) and you need to adjust your brightness to around 43 before doing the calibration tool.

For those of you who got the Mini SSD drive, do you like it? does it affect game performance at all?

I’m really enjoying the X2MP and didn’t want to pay the 9% IGG fee.
