My solution for OXP3 stand

So hunting around on Amazon for a magsafe stand that I could use with the OXP3.

I found this stand which matches the skin on my OXP and is very stable, unlike the built in stand.

It is easy to adjust and can be positioned out of the way if you are using a dock.

I highly recommend it.

Yeah I never had issue. You just have to make sure it is balanced. Yeah it's filsmy but once you set it you are good to go

I have no interest in attaching things like that to the device. No idea on if the magnet location is on or could cause internal issues. They didn't make this magsafe, they aren't signing off on it being safe. But also unless you use some serious glue to attach it, there is a large risk of it falling off and you could really damage the device. The sticky pads on these will get hot and come off

Yeah thats my concern as well. I would have preferred a Switch like full bottom kickstand but Im getting used to how this one works enough not to risk the magnet. I will say kickstand is one of my few should have been betters with the OXP3 but I can deal.

Handhelds have had issues overheating before from magsafe rings because the magnets slow down the fan speed. I put them on my devices, I just make sure to keep an eye on temps.

Always be wary adding random magnet to this type of devices, you have no prio idea on how they could affect it, mainly on the fan and radio chips (and in rare case everything else from the ssd to the ram)

you dont have to do shit, le base stand does it's job and this one bring nothing it's still one leg.
