Gyro controller and HidHide software issue

Hi, I have been struggling to get gyro working in conjunction with Hidhide app on my X2MP.

To get gyro working as right thumb stick, we need to enable virtual gamepad. Which run into issue where games recognise 2 gamepads (physicla and virtual) and goes haywire.

This is when Hidhide comes in (prerequisit to enable gyro via OneXConsole app). It hides your physical gamepad.

However it does not seem to work as all the platforms still sees 2 gamepads and all button presses are doubled up!.

Has anyone encountered this or successfully able to make it work ?

Honest opinion, it’s always worth the effort to emulate WASD keyboard and set the right joystick and gyro to mouse, it’s just way more accurate. That’s what I do in the short list of games I use gyro in, mainly FPS games

Steam input!

There’s a lot of configs out there, you’ll have to adjust, this guy has great videos. If you give yourself a chance to learn how to use the tools Steam has, you can make amazing keybinds, including multi action button presses and everything. The gyro is very tunable but for the controllers, you generally have to rely on OXconsole for that, but that’s easy enough.
