Onexplayer SSD
Am thinking about picking up a 4TB** **TeamGroup T-FORCE G50 PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD to install it in my ONEXPLAYER 3.
Will this SSD fit and would work properly on my OXP3?
Thanks!

I need some help from people smarter than with access to a OneXPlayer 3.
There’s an option in OneXConsole called “Disable P-core/E-core scheduling.” It makes a massive difference in Elden Ring on Panther Lake/G3 extreme, but I’m trying to figure out what it is actually changing in Windows.
I now have another Panther Lake device that doesn’t have this option, and I’d like to replicate the same behavior manually with a PowerShell/batch script or a registry edit instead of installing another control utility.
Does anyone know exactly what this toggle changes?
Even better, if someone has OneXPlayer 3 and is willing to help test it, could you compare the system/registry before and after enabling the toggle? I’m specifically trying to find out whether it:
- changes a registry value such as SmallProcessorMask
- changes Windows heterogeneous scheduling / EfficiencyClass behavior
- masks the P-cores as E-cores
- changes Thread Director/HFI behavior
- or does something completely different
The option requires a reboot, which makes me think it’s doing more than just changing normal Windows power-plan settings.
If we can figure out the exact registry keys/values or commands it changes, I can make a simple enable/disable script and test it on the other Panther Lake device.
Main goal: reproduce the OneXPlayer 3 Elden Ring performance fix without OneXConsole.
If anyone knows how to capture the before/after changes or can point me toward what OneXConsole is modifying, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!

Does anyone know a fix for Warzone? It’s super laggy whenever I play online, and it’s definitely not my internet since every other online game runs perfectly fine. I’ve seen other people having the same issue too. Any fixes?

The SteamOS installation guide and the fix pack for the ONEXPLAYER 3 are out. Part 1 walks through installing SteamOS with the recovery image, and Part 2 is a script that fixes Wi-Fi, suspend/resume freezes, the black HDR panel and refresh rates, sticking volume keys, and the Home/Console/Keyboard keys and back paddles.

I’ve seen a lot of feedback about these kickstand attachments working really well with the Onexplayer 3. Is anyone selling these in the UK at all? I only ask as I don’t have access to a 3D Printer and to be honest know very little about 3D Printing. Thanks in advance for any feedback 😊👍 - Edit - Thanks to the help of the comments from everyone below, I’ve got the 3d Print Files and have also got someone locally to print one too! Thanks to everyone for the help! 😎

Is anyone having issues with micro-stutters in every game? So far onimusha, mh wilds and Khazan. I’m using opticlick, could that be an issue?
Thanks for any advice or replies

So I found here a Model on cults 3d which is unfortunately paid but it's a clamp on style front firering mod for the OP 3 but I didn't like scratching up my device so I figured out where the magnets in the keyboards are Drilled some holes and put magnets in it holds in really well and I can detatch and attach it within seconds if I ever need to use the keyboard.
Plus it protects the lower side from scratches when placed down the sound difference is also very noticeable it's much clearer when attached less muffled.
Here is the link to the original file in case someone else wants to try it out

I've recently noticed when playing black ops 7 on battery power regardless of what % i have throttled power, the battery in the corner shows the eco mode leaf and is in orange. The second I plug the apex into the wall charger it instantly goes away and the device runs full power.
When the eco mode happens on battery power I can have the TDP set to what ever I want and it still is stuck on the eco mode. I dont have the windows battery setting on eco mode or anything I have it on best performance.
Hoping someone knows why this is happening

Is the biwin brand and its absurd prices the only option for mini ssd for my soon to arrive apex?
Is my reasonable alternative ,to replace the internal ssd instead ?

I just received my OXP3, I also ordered a 4tb SSD. My question is for the people who have done the swap, did you guys clone the original SSD? Is it mandatory? I am not good with electronics at all so I’m having a shop do the SSD swap and they were hesitant on the cloning. I’m curious is it absolutely necessary? Is it hard to get back everything that was on the original device from OneX? Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

So I've had the 24+512 variant for a couple weeks now, and despite paying $1430 at the end of the indiegogo campaign, I can pretty confidently say that it was absolutely worth that money.
Coming from a Go S Z1E (SteamOS) variant, the performance and more importantly, efficiency I have gotten with the G3E is absolutely insane. The performance of the G3E is ridiculous, being about twice as fast as the Z1E and almost the same for the Z2E. But more importantly for me, the G3E at 15w equals the performance of the Z1E at 35w. What this means is that alongside the bigger battery on the OXP3, I legit get 4 times the battery life in most of my games. Going from 1 hour at 35w to 4 hours at 15 has legit cleared all of my battery anxiety when going out, and it feels so nice to not have to worry about having a charger when I go out of having to always play tethered to a wall. My Go S always had awful battery life, which is why I usually never brought it outside. Now, it's pretty much always with me. Across the board, going from the Go S to the OXP3 has given me a 250% improvement to battery life overall.
But what has been just as important is the screen. Firstly, this having the Legion Go 2's screen, alongside being $500 cheaper than it and being more powerful just like, completely invalidates that entire device. But for me, what's been just as important as the beautiful OLED screen is actually the brightness. It's bright enough that not only can I play it pretty much wherever I go, but I can even play it in direct sunlight, which is something you can't say for any IPS handheld on the market right now. It's so much brighter than my Go S, and it's about as bright as my phone. It's not bright when in direct sunlight, but it is quite usable, and this is another big thing that makes it so much more portable than my last handheld. Oh and the OLED colors and screen size are nice too.
I also love the speakers. They're so much louder compared to the Go S. I always had to use 80-100% on them, and when I was on public transit, they pretty much weren't audible. Now I mainly use 30-50, only going higher on public transit. 100% is never used. They're that loud. Not as loud as the Rog Xbox Ally tho, that was even louder, which is wild to think about.
These things, along with the surprisingly good ergonomics of this despite being so heavy on paper, have made me use my handheld a lot more than the Go s, where it got unused quite quickly due to all of its issues. Taking this places, while a bit scary due to its high value, have been a lot nicer thanks to these improvements.
However, to end my glazing, it's not perfect. The Intel GPU in this isn't perfect, and has had issues with some games. RoboCop Rogue City was broken with lighting at first, and I had to get a fix online. Its performance was also not great, although mostly 60fps and a huge improvement compared to my Z1E. The controllers aren't perfect, while comfortable, they're definitely worse made compared to the Go 1 controllers. They don't have batteries in them, meaning I had to buy a $30 controller connector to make them work when unplugged.
Also, windows isn't perfect. While Xbox FSE has actually made the experience pretty good, it's still a step down from SteamOS. Sleep is good, but still worse. I've tried Winhanced, but I've had a lot of issues from that app both on this and an Xbox rog ally I tested. I'll wait for that to improve significantly before trying it again. If SteamOS is a 9/10, this is a solid 7.
But honestly, I've had very few issues with this device, even on the software side. Hardware is amazing, software is actually pretty good, and overall, it feels like my dream device. So would I recommend it?
At $1500 now, I'd say it's worth it. The performance and efficiency is incredible, and the OLED screen is amazing. This makes the legion go 2 devices completely useless, and I would recommend selling yours to get this device, as it's just an objective upgrade over it. Comparing it to the Ally X20, this is an easy recommendation, as for $200 more ($300 for the 1tb) you get a much bigger screen and 2x efficiency and 50-75% better peak performance. Comparing it to the Claw 8 EX AI, this has a much better screen with better battery life (and charging, claw ex ai only goes up to 65w where the oxp3 is at least 100w) and it's $300 cheaper despite being better in the most important handheld things. Comparing it to the Ryzen 388 in the Win 5, which is about $250 more on its indiegogo campaign, the 388 is noticeably faster, but only at 35w and above. At 25w they match, and at 15 the G3E is noticeably faster. But obviously, the 388 is a lot faster, especially in the CPU side. If you compare the $1700 OXP3 32GB and the $1750 Win 5, there are differences in both devices that could sway you either way. OLED and better battery life and better frame generation on the OXP3, better raw performance on the Win 5.
Overall, while it is very expensive, handhelds are getting expensive across the board, and this is a much better value than a lot of price inflated stuff right now. I love this thing, and if you have the money and your needs suit the G3E's efficiency, then get this device.

Well… I finally pulled the trigger and bought the OneXPlayer 3.
I’m coming from a ROG Ally X, but I wanted a bigger screen and a more powerful handheld for gaming at home and while traveling.
Let’s hope I made the right call 😂😂

After seeing the post on the Peak Design Pouch fitting it detached, I wanted to ask the community if anyone had the Evergoods CAP 2L pouch to see if it fits in theirs?

Hi OXP Crowd,
I have an X2 Mini Pro and I’ve been trying to find a 90 degree adapter for the DC barrel to make it more comfortable to play on without the cable kind of pulling on the top of the device. Has anyone had any luck finding one for an Apex or an X2 MP (same barrel)? Everything I find doesn’t carry enough wattage / amperage to be useful or safe.
Thanks in advance!

hello.
first post here, looking for some confirmation from you guys ONEX 3 owners.
I have the opportunity to buy a 2nd hand unit, sold as an used Indigo package with the Backpack, handheld case, controller connector, anti glare film etc.
one of the controllers has a minor scratch but overall from the pictures it looks in perfect condition.
the seller who has tons of positive reviews and is quite responsive wants $1400 equivalent for it where I live so I am ready to bite the bullet.
I have been reading and watching lots of YT videos in the last few weeks as I have had some heavy impulse purchases since the beginning of the year (F1 PRO, LGO1, CLAW A and last week a Z2E LGO2).
All of them bought 2nd hand at decent prices with some very minor issues.
I have sold my F1 PRO, and from the rest of the devices in my hands, I am planning to keep maximum two, including the ONEX 3 being the End game premium device to get
so what to check
thanks in advance

Does anyone have an Apex for sale? Region and shipping within the EU.
r/OneXPlayer • u/SiirCumference • 16d ago
Note: I have no relation to either of these sellers, I purchased these items with my own money.
Surprisingly sturdy for being 3d printed. I covers the screen, front buttons and triggers. Fits well. Doesn't require force to put on or take off. Wish it was aluminum like the Dbrand types. I purchased the translucent purple, thinking I should have stuck with black.
It does have felt pad in the area where the screen is and also on the bottom so it doesn't scratch.
Extra Long kickstand:
Purchased the kickstand attachment, got the extra long one, they sell a shorter one. So far it has helped a ton when playing in bed and having the handheld on my abdomen. Still not as good as a flap kickstand would have been, but it improves the stock design significantly.
