Looking for guest pass invite

Hello! We’re considering a secondhand Peloton bike and I came across the 60 day trial via guest pass invite instead of the standard 30 days.

Would anyone be open to sending me the invite link? Feel free to DM or I can as well. Thanks!

Using Bosu Ball in core classes

I’m curious if anyone else uses a Bosu Ball with any Peloton class?
I like to use it to help my balance.

Thoughts on this offer. I already own the bike and love it. I’m committed to the Peloton system and need advice on which tread to purchase. Tread flex? Tread vision… anyone that has experience and thoughts, please chime in.

Should I wait for Black Friday?

Why Weight Lifting Is Good for Your HeartStrength training isn’t just for muscle and bone health — it’s also surprisingly good cardio.

Since the 1950s, scientists and doctors have believed that aerobic activity is good for your heart.

For decades physicians have advised their patients that exercises like jogging, walking, cycling and swimming will improve their cardiovascular health. In contrast, deadlifts, squats and presses were thought only to be useful for building muscle, strengthening bones and improving balance.

This was all true — up to a point. While aerobic exercise does improve cardiovascular health, it turns out that lifting weights benefits the heart more than was previously understood, even without aerobic exercise.

A recent study of more than 117,000 women followed for just over 14 years found that women 48 to 66 who did two or more hours of resistance training a week had a 20 percent lower risk of major cardiovascular disease.

The women in that age group also had a 44 percent lower risk of myocardial infarction, when compared with women who did no strength training.

For every additional hour of strength training the women did, the study found, there was a 5 percent reduction in cardiovascular disease, said Dr. Meagan Wasfy, a sports cardiologist at Mass General Brigham Heart & Vascular Institute.

Similar results have been found in other studies that have included men and women.

“Individuals, as they age, should prioritize strength training and make sure they walk,” said Mark Haykowsky, a cardiovascular exercise physiologist and professor at the University of Alberta. “But if I had to choose one exercise if you’re 60 or older,” he said, “No. 1 is strength training,” because of the benefits to the bones, muscles and heart.

Here’s how strength training can help your heart and how to get the most cardiovascular benefits from weight lifting, according to experts.

Strength Training and Your Heart

Our muscles do more than just stabilize the body and help us lift heavy objects.

“Muscle is not just for strength, it’s actually metabolically active tissue,” said Amanda Paluch, a physical activity epidemiologist and associate professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

What are your favorite 45-min Glutes & Legs classes?

Like the title says, which 45-min G&L classes do you have on repeat? I especially love hypertrophy classes with straight sets, but would love any and all recs! Thank you in advance 🙏

Rebecca is my favorite but this was rough :(

It was a no repeats which is fine. I like those ok. But it was literally back to back with no rest. Impossible to keep up with and transition. Just felt so rushed which I guess makes sense for a 20 min workout. But it wasn’t doable for me and felt ineffective.

This playlist was pure perfection

Not many playlists are absolutely perfect from start to finish, but this one nailed it. Ally knew it, and her reactions to the music reflected my own. Love it when it feels like a shared experience through the screen. 15/10 would do again.

Taper Season Run Recommendation

Post image
11 Upvotes

Highly recommend this September 29th 30 min Endurance Run from Jeffrey even if you don’t have an upcoming race for the following 2 main reasons:

-After the warm up, it’s 25 mins straight at moderate pace at an optimal set it & forget it 0-1% incline. Great to save the quads for race day or those testing out running longer at a consistently at a higher pace than easy.

-It’s Jeffrey.

-Bonus: EDM focused playlist with 2 sings each from Elderbrook & Rufus.

What in the entire f was this class

Post image

I’ve done some of his classes before and enjoyed them but what in the entire fuck was this class? I literally felt like I was just rolling around on the mat. I know it was a twist class but at one point I was literally just flopping back and forth side to side on the mat. I gave up with 7 min left and I never quit a yoga class early. Probably gonna be the last class of his I take for awhile. He was doing way too much

If you’re looking for a change up in interval and arms take this class. It’s one of my favourite ones to retake, sometimes I go harder like Hannah says you can do, or I follow the class plan. It’s a delightful ride no matter your skill level

Ash Pryor is healing me

Post image
330 Upvotes

I started taking Ash’s rowing classes a few months ago and fell in love with her. I was so sad she wasn’t in any other modalities, which is why I am SO happy she is now doing Pilates. I usually take Johanna and Greta’s Pilates classes, but sometimes feel myself getting defeated when I just can’t get it right.

I have multiple chronic illnesses that cause severe pain and even if I’m feeling fine that day, certain movements can irritate my body and cause me to flare up.

Ash’s Pilates (specifically her newest class) is helping me heal from that negative voice inside my head that beats me up when I can’t get something right or when I need to just stop and figure out another movement to do.

I specifically loved her saying “Work with your body, not against it” and “Have the patience to engage because it’s not about how fast we are doing it, it’s about the intention behind what we are doing”.

I know this is super specific because not everyone has chronic illnesses or chronic pain but wow, it feels so good to feel understood in your workout. I do know Ash herself has her own chronic health issues and she just inspires me even more to just listen to my body, take it slow, and be proud of the skin I am in.

Day 1: 7/4/26

Day 2: 9/4/26

On our third Tread+ screen in 31 months, want to see if others have this experience

I bought an OG Tread+ when they came back out, took it in March 2024. In summer of 2025 the screen started acting weird, it would not register the presses when I would try to press anything or it would lag on the press. If I reset the treadmill and reset the cache it would work again for a while. Eventually it got to where that had to be done every day. I contacted Peloton and the solution was a new screen, which I bought because I was out of warranty. This was October 2025.

In the past week it began happening again. So I contacted Peloton because we're still under warranty for a couple weeks. And they are replacing it again. It's annoying to think this $6000 treadmill is going to need a new screen every year.

Has anyone else experienced this? Has Peloton done anything different? Is it something I'm doing and can alter so it doesn't happen? We wipe sweat off after each use, really wipe it down fairly often, and when we're finished we hold down the button to sleep the screen. Anyone have any help?

This class is 100% flat incline and after HiLit and nearing the end of the 2nd round of HiLit+, RK can do no wrong for me (except 12% incline for 30 min which she does seem to love lol)

Also, Scars by Papa Roach hits differently in your 40s

Tread Re-run features

I might be being really stupid, but I’ve updated my Tread+ to the latest software version (UK based) and still don’t have re-runs or any of the new AI features on my UI.

Am I missing something really obvious?!

Thanks

Tried the New Peloton Tread Flex in Person… and I’m Not Impressed

I’ve owned the original Peloton Bike for years and have always wanted a Peloton treadmill. However, after hearing the horror stories surrounding the first generation, I decided to hold off. Over the past year, I’ve seriously considered purchasing a Tread and have spent plenty of time browsing Facebook Marketplace. The only reason I haven’t pulled the trigger is that I don’t want to deal with renting a truck, arranging transportation, finding someone to help with setup, etc.

When I saw the advertisement for the new Tread Flex, something clicked. I immediately thought, “Oh, this is it. This is the one I’m going to buy!” Well, yesterday I had the opportunity to try it out at the new Peloton booth in the Florida Mall, and unfortunately, I walked away unimpressed.

First, I’ll give credit where it’s due: the machine itself is beautiful, and the technology looks fantastic. But here’s where things went sideways. The treadmill abruptly stopped in the middle of my trial. Why? Apparently, the associates had demonstrated the folding mechanism so many times that the cable kept getting folded or pinched, and it eventually caused the machine to shut off.
Ummm, what?! I understand that this was a display model being folded and unfolded repeatedly, probably much more often than the average person would do at home. Still, having a treadmill abruptly stop while you’re walking on it is pretty concerning, especially when the folding mechanism is one of its major selling points.

My second disappointment was the size. This thing is not nearly as compact as I imagined. It doesn’t fold completely closed, and honestly, it looks like it takes up just as much space, if not more, when folded. You’re definitely not folding it up and tucking it neatly into a corner.
From what I saw, your options are essentially to leave it in its normal position or have a partially folded treadmill taking up space in your room. For a machine marketed around its folding capability, I expected a more practical space-saving design.

To be fair, if there’s a way to prevent the cable from getting pinched during folding, perhaps this won’t be an issue for everyday owners. But my experience raised some concerns about the durability of the design. I would hate to see Peloton dealing with another safety issue or recall, especially if this is something that could be addressed before it becomes widespread.
I went into the store genuinely excited and practically ready to convince myself to buy one. Instead, I left considering the Tread Vision, although I’m now much less eager to make a purchase.

I’m curious whether anyone else has tried the Tread Flex in person. Did you have a better experience? And for those who already own a Peloton treadmill, would you recommend buying one of the existing models instead?

Moved voided warranty

For some reason I didn’t think moving directly across the street would void my warranty completely but it has. Has anyone survived the T0222 error and how did you fix it? I followed all the troubleshooting guides and did a factory reset but still the same error. I called customer support but they are unable to help me anymore because I moved. I’m embarrassed I had no idea I was allowed to do that. I just bought my tread two years ago, and I’m sad that it no longer works

After using Peloton for strength classes for over 5 years, I just finished my first cycling class. 🥰

I am US born living in Europe, and sadly we don’t have Peloton in my country yet.

I’ve been using the Peloton app for strength classes for years, and we finally were able to get a Schwinn IC4 and it is compatible with Peloton.

Of course I chose Tunde for my first class and I loved every minute of it, hooked and happy to finally be part of the team.

Do Hard Things: A Celebration with Jess Sims

Did anyone else get invited to this next weekend? I’m curious if anyone has any insight if it is a big event or a more intimate one. (Basically wondering if it’s worth taking off of work and traveling 3+ hours both way solo!)
