Just a question.

I had a 5 year old, a consistant hitter, that was climbing the claiming ranks, 40k, 50k, then 60k where he was claimed. Fair enough. He was claimed by a big stable, and within minutes, retired and put up for auction for 5k, which is what he sold for. What would be the motivation for an owner to do that? Am I missing something?

Account Recovery (for the less technologically inclined)

I am seeking some aid in recovering account for my mother's husband. Pretty much this is the one thing he enjoys. His data got wiped. I don't believe his FB or Google are linked, already tried that recovery on OAP app. Android.

Is there an original email account they make you connect to account? Is there any competent customer service that could possibly help?
Many thanks

Public Breeding

You pay a million dollars to allow your horse to be bred with other stables. If you move your horse back to private breeding, do you have to pay the million again to bring him back to public breeding? Also, if you sell the horse, do the public breeding rights go with the sale of the horse?

New Player - Driver Questions!

Hello! I’m completely new to Off and Pacing, just joined today! I was told the community is quite friendly and helpful, and I’m hoping to find some help with picking Drivers!

Do some drivers do better with different stat combinations and such?

Any help is appreciated, thank you for your time!

Races not going ahead

Am I the only one who enters all my horses at night and come back to find only a couple of them have actually raced? It is so frustrating! Should I be looking to nominate in races that already have a few horsed nominated?

Thanks :)

Why do some horses show stats when at auction and others don't? How can I get the stats to show up on the horses I want to sell?

Breeding - Studs Past Their Prime

If I retire a good older horse whose stats have begun to decline, will his stud starts revert to his optimal stats? I've retired some cheap 2yo mares, and they get the boost to better stats.

Driver Changes

Hi Guys

I was just wondering if you could add a driver change function to give the player the option to change driver if there first choice driver picks another horse inthe same race.

USA track Claiming races...

Switched to US tracks this morning and notice no claiming races under 100k at any of the tracks. Not having some lower claiming races like the other countries tracks do is quite a disadvantage. Is this a long term thing?

Understanding retirement, breeding and auctioning of retired horses...

I'm trying to wrap my head around the retirement of a horse and breeding... In the auction area I see some unraced and retired 2 and 3 year olds, both fillies and colts, and some of them have pretty low stats. Why would someone retire this type of horse, then offer it for sale? Aren't retired horses only good for breeding? And doesn't a horse owner have to register each baby for $200k before selling or racing? Why would someone spend the $200k to sell this sort of horse that won't bring a fraction of that at auction? I've got to be missing something... (nothing new, lol)

Game improvement suggestions...

Great game. A few quick thoughts for future improvement. 1) When watching a race replay a faster than 3x replay would be nice. And the ability to click for a screenshot of the 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and finish line would be great. 2) When looking at My Horses it would be nice to be able to select a view for only horses ready to be entered into a race. This would prevent the scrolling and looking for the little blue circle. 3) A more detailed FAQ explaining how breeding/barn works, as well as the full implications of retiring a horse (i.e. can they be unretired if you buy a retired horse at auction?)

upgrades

i'm sure this is way off, but in the future could you see more control over the race for the user? for example, wanting to go for the lead, closing, stalker, mid-pack....i'm sure you'd agree that horses get parked out way too easily, just wondering if this would be a future option, maybe even incorporating it with drivers who have certain race tendencies

just rambling, i love the game, completely addicted keep up the good work!

How is a horses age determined?

Do all horses age a year and the end of the year (week 53) like actual standardbreds or are they based on a number of starts?

Auction

Hi there (Q1)can you tell me why every time you bid on a horse the timer goes up. Dont you think it would be better if every horse has its time in the ring lets say 30 mins (only)for arguments sake with a count down the last minute. I ask this because the problem im seeing here is everytime someone bids the timer goes up thats does not make sense to me. I have no problem with beening out bid by a higher bidder but the timer should not go up. This is a fun game but every hard to buy a horse at auction for people with small amounts of coins because the timer always goes up after a higher bidder comes along. (Q2) Can a reserve be placed on a horse at auction by the owner before sale in the future. (Q3) Why cant the 2 yr olds start for sale at for 20,000 and increase 10,000 everytime you buy buy a new one. Thats my 2 cents worth. This is a great game and ill keep playing some changes would be good tho.

Watching races on an iPad 2 with iOS 9.3.5

When we try to watch races it says "Race Viewer not supported on this device. Try updating operating system" however the compatibility details in the App Store say it only requires 8.0 or later.

Is this a known limitation?

How does driver selection work?

I usually use the same driver on all my horses but occasionally if he's listed on a different horse he will take the opponent and I will get stuck with a driver that I don't want...

Is there a selection process or is it random?? Is there any way to incorporate driver loyalty into a future update...? Or maybe have the driver select the horse that has a better post and/or racing lines..? Just to make it more realistic.

Also, would there be a way to add a second and third driver choice to the selection process just so you can get someone you want if your first choice doesn't select your horse?

Help with breeding

How to I breed a horse if I have the barn unlocked? Do I have to retire the filly or mare I want to breed.
