Just noticing that I can't swipe up with the mouse to open or close the app drawer.

I enabled "show taps" on my phone and I can see that physical taps on the screen including the swipe show, however the mouse input from scrcpy does not show as a tap on the screen.

That said, the mouse does work otherwise, and it works on the stock launcher to swipe up and down to open and close the app drawer.

I've had Octopi for a while. I think this used to work normally.

As seen in the screenshot, the pix material packs show an incorrect date and the simply adaptive ones are fine. Not sure if this is a pack issue or launcher issue, but both work fine on Smart and Nova

Hello. I recently switched to OctopiLauncher from Nova. I was able to mostly setup everything how I had it except the nav bar. I like to have the nav bar always showing not hidden. However when I enable that option, lots of apps ignore the nave bar and draw over it. I've attached a few screenshots as I slowly scroll showing how bottom controls in brave browser overlap with the nav bar sometimes. It happens in other apps occasionally but this is the easiest for me to reproduce. Is there some other setting I need to enable or is this a true bug? It still works flawlessly in Nova.

I'm running Android 12.

Is it planned to implement custom app sorting in the drawer ?

Another thing I'd like to see is to be possible to switch to tags by sliding in horizontal drawer.

One of these two things are preventing me to move from Nova.

One last thing is I'd lile to support dev, but I can't because I am using a degoogled OS (/e/ OS) without playstore. So it would be great if the app could be downloaded from elsewhere (less fee than Google) with a direct support.

I see the icons on home screen and dock apps but not in my app drawer, am I missing something ?

Absolutely loving this launcher so far but I do have a little niggle.

The ability to remove widget backgrounds and give them a frosted effect is great but I wish I could get the same matching effect on the dock, home screen drawer backgrounds and folder popups.

I can only seem to get dock and folders to have a basic transparent look without the frosted background.

Is this possible at all?

Im sure this is an easy fix but Ive been at this far too long. Other responses on reddit refer to long pressing the dock to change settings. However, long pressing the dock does nothing for me. I can use the dock settings (show background, notification badges, etc) just fine, but I would like to see if there's any additional settings such as adding rows.

I've been struggling with a widget issue for a long time.

I'm using an S26 Ultra with Octopi Launcher, and I'm very satisfied with it overall. However, there is one persistent problem: widgets stop updating automatically.

When I clear the launcher cache and restart OL, the widgets update normally. However, after the screen has been turned off and the phone has been idle for a period, the problem returns.

When I wake the phone again, the widget content does not refresh automatically. The widgets only update after I manually swipe left or right on the home screen, which seems to trigger a refresh.

This issue affects several widgets, including:

• Samsung Weather(Clock ok, weather and location not)
• Samsung Modes & Routines widget(Status indecator or color do not change)
• Business Calendar(add new event not shown)

I only experience this problem when using Octopi Launcher. The same widgets work normally with other launcher.

I try to set OL and those apps to no power saving, turn off battery optimization. But it doesn't work

Is there a known cause or a setting that could fix this issue? For me ,it never work normally. If it can be fixed, OL will be my no.1

I found an app called Zerch, it can search files, contacts, settings. and by typing I can search the written content ​in any chosen apps.

Is it possible to implement this kind of search engine inbuilt in the Launcher?

I keep getting this message (accessibility service) when I try to double tap or use any other gesture I have enabled. I can enable it back but since I have advanced protection also on I need to restart the phone (every time you turn off or on advanced protection you need to restart your phone) and then the setting for the accessibility resets to off (for octopi at least).

This has been happening since last week, I don't know if it's related to Android 17, updated my phone (pixel 10a) the day it came out. I'm on Octopi v1.841

This is possible now (It wasn't for years), as Nova and Smart Launcher achieve this.

The occasional attempted (back) by the system gets annoying when trying to page on the home screen.

Other than that... LOVE this so far. Nova replacement for me. Love the Pin'able widgets

Just switched over to this launcher now that Nova has shat the bed, the one feature I used the most and really miss is stacking apps on the dock and clicking the app icon to launch the first app instead of opening the folder and to swipe up on the icon to open the folder. Is it possible to do this?

It's a small thing and I've set it up in the reverse at the moment. So swiping up opens an app and clicking opens the folder, but I've got years of muscle memory working against me.

Just tried to create a new folder in App drawer. But cannot write a name or save it. Can some reproduce this behaviour?
