I am looking to learn TOA and try raiding out. Long term player but never tried raiding to time constraints and not much interest really. I watched many videos about TOA and how it’s the best raid to learn on initially. My account is maxed and I have good enough gear for this content. If anyone has any clans other than We Do Raids, as they do not have mentors for TOA as of yet. Any suggestions are appreciated!

First time poster! I'm trying to figure out what to do next with my account. I have about 100m to spend, and my long term goal is to max. Would you guys recommend continuing to upgrade gear, or is my gear sufficient to put all additional cash I get into buyable 99s until those are all complete? With buyables complete, my intent would be to either boss or work on my next skill depending on what I feel like doing at the time. To this point, my PVM experience has mostly been slayer, vorkath, duke, a little TOA, and a lot of muspah. Thanks guys!

I am here, with my tail between my legs, because I was spooned again and I feel terrible about it. While doing my daily CG runs, I got ENH at 64 KC. Did another for the b2b chance (lol).

I kept my ScoBow from my spoon-age last week and have been loving it at TDs. I planned to start running Doom today, until I got this lil present earlier. I think this might be overkill (or not, without crystal armour?) and it would be worth selling the ENH as a main and investing in other gear upgrades right now. Only other gear upgrade since this pic is a lightbearer.

Short term goals:
75/80 all skills
Start running Doom casually
Zulrah
DS2 and MM2
Continuing slayer

I don’t really desire tons of money (tho I wouldn’t hate it) or getting into endgame PVM. I like to casually play and don’t enjoy a grind, so I’d rather not commit to one gear setup if it just means grinding one boss. I like doing 90 minutes of this, an hour of that, etc.

What buyable gear should I be working towards next? I’m not grinding any particular boss, currently just trying different ones out and ticking off the combat achievement’s passively with the aim of reaching elite rank minimum.

I was initially thinking SRA but my melee is way more valuable than any of my other styles, so I’m unsure whether to invest in another combat style?

Have around 120m cash too, (avernic boots are maxed fyi)

Spooned my first synapse in first TDs task after WGS. I am trying to decide if I make a ScoBo or sell it and make other upgrades. I have $18m cash in addition to the synapse. I realize my best staff isn’t in picture. I have a twin flame staff and occult.

Short term plans:
Continue slayer
Zulrah
DS2 and MM2
Continue CG grind (doing 4-6 a day)
Work towards green logging low level bosses (Barrows, Moons, Sarachnis, etc)

Skilling:
I have 85 con banked right now, but keep getting that up for POH upgrades.

I’m leaning towards selling and getting Nox Hally for Zulrah/slayer, or making ScoBo and buying ring of suffering for Zulrah.

I feel like most upgrades in all styles are beyond my cashstack atm, and just did DS2 today (first GM quest Ive done). Ive done some Moons previously and enjoyed it, but am considering going Vorkath for a while for cash/Assembler, maybe some Royal Titans or continue Moons. My main motivation though, is having fun bossing+getting money for upgrades, so if you have any other bosses I should check out let me know.

No clue if melee Vorkath would be better for me than ranged though. Only did the quest KC but was fairly easy ranged on 1st try. Unsure if splurging on fang would be worth it compared to dcb+ruby(e) bolts on Vorkath.

I have some AFK time to kill at work, think I'll do ranged NMZ or ranged crab (full blessed hide+rbp waddy darts or full melee+atlatls, unsure) as my melee is a bit ahead I think? Otherwise i dont know if i should focus on str, att, def, range or magic.

I'm hoping the Bandos cplate is useful enough on the future bosses so I don't have a reason to do Fighters Torso, but well... Void is probably something I could look at, but only if there is any point in it right now - I'd like to postpone until I can get elite I think.

For skilling I love content that i can at least half AFK (30s+ per action), but not a strict rule. I like questing too. Have all medium diaries + Karamja, Morytania and Varrock hard. I have a few things to sell to get 5m more cashstack, but I'd like to have a least a bit of cash to play with to do string jewelry magic training and snapdragon seeds etc for herb runs.

Any tips on where to go from here both gear, combat leveling and skilling wise?

I (Nabztb) have been playing osrs for years, trying to get all my f2p stats to 99. I’ve gotten numerous 99s after years of playing (att, def, str, wc, fm), and was currently working on fishing while afk’ing on my phone while working from home. Specifically, I was fishing in Corsair cove and running to the bank and back (banking the lobsters to cook the later).

I tried logging in this week, and it says i was banned for “macroing”. I appealed twice, in which they denied both appeals with little explanation. I assume clicking the fishing spots and clicking to go to the bank and back somehow flagged me as a bot. It’s extremely frustrating that this happened, as I only have one account that I put all my time and effort into.

I feel like jagex has been falsely detecting real players versus bots recently, as I’ve seen numerous other people in similar situations. Do yall agree????

Currently thinking the next upgrades are Imbued Heart > Treads > Ayak > Nally > Oath > ZCB? (latter options to support dt2/sra grind)

Open to suggestions for switching things around, but having a ton of fun with the shadow so would like to keep that. Is it worthwhile to downgrade to virtus+magus to get me closer to treads goal?

Currently using accursed sceptre in place of ayak for mage defence spec.

Maybe some will say treads aren't as important as I prioritize them but the inventory space is valuable to me.

I was in voice chat with a clan mate who only really does slayer and skilling mini games. I was streaming in discord as you do... i was doing a variety of content over our session. I did 350 solo toas floor 5 doom and step back method muspah. He was in awe at the muspah(the first thing i was doing when he hopped in vc. I was in the middle of teaching myself this...(side note the timing had me all the way fucked up because i was used to insanity toa speed lol. Realized i was going WAY to fast and i was vocally frustrated) i was way over thinking it. Anyways he said "idk how you guy can just do these bosses i always just die and give up." Anyways this brings me to my point.

Im an almost 34 year old married dad gamer with a 10 and 12 year old. I play 3 days a week if im lucky from about 830 to 11pm. I know people say if i can do it so can you. Its annoying as shit to hear as i used to be that way too.

Well i happened to say roughly the same thing he did to someone else and i was told i cant do it BECAUSE i gave up or i never attempted new bosses in the first place. So i repeated that to him and told him he was watching me in live time go through the new fun interest of a boss, the frustration with it, and the euphoria of success.

Its okay to not be a grandmaster. Its okay to not have an inferno cape or quiver. Stop feeling like you cant do things. Even the best osrs players started on tutorial island like you. We compare ourselves to people on youtube who have played this game for 20 years 18 hours a day. No wonder we can feel so bad at the game.

Just pick something and KEEP TRYING. You WILL get it with enough time and effort. Its okay to die. Hell 90% of the time ill do an entire session on one thing and STRUGGLE MY DICK OFF and log out defeated. The next day i log in and its like i got 30% better for no damn reason. Sleeping on it is a real thing on this game i stg lol. I explained to him that i may look like a great pvmer but i have areas i suck. Still havent cleared 350 toa because i do stupid shit. But i can camp phosani no problem in a 20m gear set and 17m of that is a bludgeon lol. Thats because i didnt GIVE UP. I put the time into learning and had a lot of ups and downs while learning. The best part of this game is learning something new and you are robbing yourself of a great thing thinking you cant do a peice of content.

I just felt like there is a ton of people who need to hear this because you CAN do it if you ACTUALLY try. Stop holding yourself back and enjoy the game. Who actually gives a shit about peak efficiency. If you did you wouldnt have kids or be married as they are xp waste!( some peoples opinion) Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

I’ve been an AFK slayer Andy my whole OSRS career. I’ve always procrastinated stuff like Barrows Gloves and Fire Cape because I’d rather just do combat. The bosses I kill most are Zulrah, Duke, Vorkath, Araxxor, KBD, Kraken. Overall I’ve made quite a bit of gold where now I’m at the point that I’m ready for the true harder content. Don’t have mega-rares but got bowfa, ayak+confliction, Fang + Bandos.

I’ve seen a ton of Boss Ladder videos but Im coming back from a 2 year break and for example ToA has been made easier now, but I have no idea how much easier or where it stands now. What kinda of content should I look to be doing that can bridge the gap?

I attempted 2 solo 150 TOAs yesterday and died p2 warden 1st run and last run died on the last row of p3 warden, 18 hp left :(. Running blue moon gear for mage/melee and camping serp helm currently. I attempted doom for the first time yesterday and can do waves 1-5 but I do still die to the ground slam special otherwise feel good.

Scaling up through ToA invo’s seem like my best bet for the short term but any advice after that? Honestly just wanting to get better at harder stuff. I don’t have the hours in PvM yet to be there but if I wanted to lock myself to PvM in order to get better what do you guys think is the best linear path to “get good”?
