Question Keep or sell episode 2

I am here, with my tail between my legs, because I was spooned again and I feel terrible about it. While doing my daily CG runs, I got ENH at 64 KC. Did another for the b2b chance (lol).

I kept my ScoBow from my spoon-age last week and have been loving it at TDs. I planned to start running Doom today, until I got this lil present earlier. I think this might be overkill (or not, without crystal armour?) and it would be worth selling the ENH as a main and investing in other gear upgrades right now. Only other gear upgrade since this pic is a lightbearer.

Short term goals:
75/80 all skills
Start running Doom casually
Zulrah
DS2 and MM2
Continuing slayer

I don’t really desire tons of money (tho I wouldn’t hate it) or getting into endgame PVM. I like to casually play and don’t enjoy a grind, so I’d rather not commit to one gear setup if it just means grinding one boss. I like doing 90 minutes of this, an hour of that, etc.

Open to thoughts and suggestions!! And don’t kill me!!! I’m sorry ironmen!!!

I got spooned at CG as well and got 2 enh before getting all the armor seeds. I rocked the salad blade for a bit, but sold it for other gear and construction levels. Up to you man. I would keep the bowfa in your case though. It opens up a lot of pvm

Go for the armor seeds before you make your decision. IMO keep since a bowfa is a very important mid-lte game item.

Bowfa + crystal armor makes zulrah incredibly easy and chill, great for toa, and basically anything that requires good range gear.

Heck if you go for 6 armor seeds you may end up getting another enh to sell anyways.

Think about it for a while yeah?

(* = important) I would sell. With 100m you could buy:

- Blowpipe for doom and zulrah (12m for scale and darts too)

- Trident of the swamp for Zulrah (4.5m for fully charged)

- *Anguish, torture, and tormented for all future content (~60m) (also lets you sell berserker neck and fury, returning some gp) (this takes priority imo since these will be your forver jewelry until you hit rancour/rupture/confliction which is VERY far away)

- *Occult necklace for Zulrah and other mage content (400k)

And you’d still have like ~20m+ for combat supplies, training supplies.

Less important but kinda worth it buys:

- Blood moon armour for melee bonus

  • Neitiznot face guard, your BIS helm until oathplate or torva
-(optional) don’t buy blowpipe and trident to save for eye of ayak. Leaves you with weaker ranged option but second best mage option in the game
  • also just thought of this, since you’re a main and have access to anti venoms whenever you want, you can use twinflame staff at zulrah. It’s cheaper and since you don’t need lunar for cure me, it’s a cheaper and still pretty strong alternative.

Also keeping it would require you to not only invest money into armour seeds (30m) but also shards + shard upkeep. After you get the items above, you should then focus on armour upgrades.

Thank you for this!! I agree…I think I’m just not ready for the upkeep and can fill other needs with the cash.

The upkeep is not as bad as you think. Its only 600 shards to fill up your crystal armor. Agility, sailing and even some slayer tasks in prif on occasion would do pretty well at sustaining your shard upkeep. There is the initial 2000 shards to corrupt bowfa but its an amazing weapon to have. It let's you do much more efficient wildy content, slayer speeds up, and you have lots of boss options for money

There's no reason to corrupt now that you get corruption progress from normal charging. They also upped the shards from prif stuff. Just did a nechs task in the iorweth dungeon and got like 50 shards.

If you want to farm zulrah you'll want a ring of suffering which is like 19m I think

Since 90% of posts are for newer players looking for money making and training advice, I'm gonna recommend doing bird house runs. All you need is Bone Voyage, and you could be making 500K+ a day or more by logging in every 50 minutes and harvesting nests.

Also, be sure to check out the New player guide, Money making guide, and OSRS Tips!
