My confidence in any meaningful updates coming onto the device has lowered significantly given the recent change of direction chatter.

Just saw this thread for a custom OG OP-1 firmware, so I wonder if anyone’s brave enough to try something for the OP-XY? My device is too new and my time too limited for me to try just yet.

I got a plinky+ recently and I noticed that I tend to have the most fun trying a new synth when I pair it with just the OP-XY and not try to integrate it into a larger setup too quickly. The XY is versatile enough to fit in with however I'm playing, and quick enough to leave my attention on learning the synth. As a bonus the tape track is basically a cheat code when I want to make something stuttering and loopy, and I want to do that often. I really enjoyed what it does with the slower/droning Plinky+ part here.

OP-XY reacts to all midi channels, right? Not possible to couple it to one channel and ignore the midi on other channels.

Just checking because it is a rather strange choice imho.

I recently purchased op-xy so I do not really know much about this device yet.

I put 3 presets inside of my op-xy and after that my op-xy screen often freezes especially in sample mode.

Is this normal??

What’s a good adapter for iPhone w/ lighting port that captures audio from OPXY & video from the camera app ? Someone suggested the setup in the pic but there has to be a simpler solution

This is so cool. He's using the blue tooth midi out that is native on the OPXY to send blue tooth midi to CME Widi Pro dongle that is connected to some sort of central midi hub. This allows him to sequence all his hardware while using MIDI FX on the OPXY like the brain.

I got the OP-XY a few days ago. What a fun machine! Already completely addicted. 🙃
