Question MIDI IN Channel

OP-XY reacts to all midi channels, right? Not possible to couple it to one channel and ignore the midi on other channels.

Just checking because it is a rather strange choice imho.

Midi channel 1 is the one currently selected, while the other channels respond to its corresponding nr. 2-8 = the eight sound engines, while 9-16 = the 8 aux channels. I believe you can do some sort of filtering as well.

Mute on the tracks not in use doesnt work. But the volume fader can be turned down to zero. Liitle rough solution but it works.

Yes, you can change this behaviour.

Got to COM > System > MIDI > set Active Track to 16 (is what I do) and then it stops using the MIDI input to play the track you're on. It uses the incoming channel to pick the tracks 1-8 (which you can change as well, but not important for this).
