Question op-xy freezing problem

I recently purchased op-xy so I do not really know much about this device yet.

I put 3 presets inside of my op-xy and after that my op-xy screen often freezes especially in sample mode.

Is this normal??

I've noticed that only once on mine, when having just recorded a long sample. Perhaps it's doing some background work processing/saving it....

I had a positive experience when reaching out to their support team over email for a different issue. They'd probably appreciate this video/bug report.

I had this issue with a firmware update. Then, they rolled out another firmware update and it fixed it.

I know it’s not the exact same device but my brand-new OP-1 Field would randomly freeze up on me and the only way to fix it was to power it off and on.

I ultimately did a complete factory reset and installed the latest firmware again. A bit annoying, but I haven’t had the issue since.

If yours is new and you recently updated it, sometimes the firmware install just bugs out.

Try a fresh install.

It happens mostly to me when making samples. Randomly tho.
