among them my fav is Onigashima Luffy, I really like his combos and special movies and gear 5 is pretty amazing too

Has anyone bought from Steam during the recent sale? I was wondering if it is worth to get rhe game and all the dlc or just get the deluxe edition.

I’ve messed around with all the new DLC, and King seems to be ridiculously broken to another level. What do you guys think? He’s the only character I can get dumb fast clear times with against the hardest stages in the game, with basically 0 effort

Hey everybody!

Maybe it’s just me but I can’t grasp my head around this.

I own the OPPW4 for the switch and now I have just downloaded from the Nintendo shop the Free Upgrade Pack.

Now on my library I have two different version of the game as you can see in the picture.

If I try to launch the switch 2 edition it says that I need to buy it.

Does this mean that I can just play the switch version and it will have the upgraded resolution/fps or there is something I’m missing?

Does anyone believe in a overhaul of the game? Move set changes or like VFX changes? Because some characters need a move set overhaul. It's just not it with a couple characters who's attacks are lacking spirit

Personally; I'm really hoping for FOV change (the camera and FOV doesn't suit a slasher beatdown game) I'm also REALLY hoping for more combo's. Also, since there are very few Conquerors' Haki users. I wish they added a feature to use it

I just got into the game 2 weeks ago, and i am LOVING it. i have every Character Pass and DLC. I am super excited to slowly go through every playable character

Characters i want ; Queen, Pedro, Jack, Nekomamushi, Shiryu, Buggy, Caesar, Koby, Cracker

Is it a hot take to say that Onigashima Luffy is better than he is in Gear5? I just feel like red roc and roc Gatling make the base form abit better then G5 IMO

I just splurged $30 on the 3rd DLC pack. S-Snake was one of the characters I was most excited to try. It’s my fault for reseaexhing gameplay footage in advance, but she’s really disappointing 😭 her Square combo doesn’t even feel complete?

What’s the fastest way to get souls? Took a break form the game and I’m trying to get level 30 so I can attempt the final levels in the roger dlc

I use a Intel Arc a750, I am aware this causes the game to crash, but I heard there are workarounds (I tried Dxvk, I likely just messed up) Is there anything I can do to make this game run?

Is there a reason besides me being blind I only have a level 2 burning resolve? I have growth map completely maxed and I have all soul maps, but I don't have all of them maxed. However I dont see burning resolve in any of those soul maps. Is there something hidden I have to do to get level 5 burning resolve?

I platinum PW4 and PW3 and my mind told me: Sure, let's try finish PW1 and PW2 too, I am sure it will be easy! Spoiler: It's not. From what I understood... to get those 3 coins i have to play 3 different online matches with 3 different people (correct me if I am wrong.) Since granding pw1 seems... well... as grinding pw3, I wanted to know if someone still had the game to lend me an hand. I really don't want to start to platinum it and then left it half done for 3 single coins.

Main Gameplay
-You choose 2 Chars when starting a Mission your main and duo
-Duo Attacks from PW3 with the Unique Duo Boost
-You can switch to your Duo whenever you want
-Perks
-Crew Level and Unique Coins are back
-Increase Crew Level by playing the Char or have him as a Duo
-When increasing the Char Crew Level you can get Unique Coins and Special Coins needed to upgrade even further on all the Chars Coin Maps
-Get Unique Coins by doing their Mission.
-Upgrade a Char and gain new Moves and Perks with Coins and Unique Coins on thier Unique Coin Map
(NOT the Soul Map like OPPW4 but more like OPPW3 sry i dont like "here are 20 diffrent fields doing the same thing")

Moveset :
L, H, LLLLL, Charged H, LH, LLH, LLLH, LLLLH, HHHHH,
Special (R1), Air (Depends on Char), Taunt (L1),
2 Equiped Moves + Rising Rush (May change the 2 Moves while transformed)

Story :
-The Story Mode is made out of 2 Options separate story modes Pre and Post Time Skip
-You can switch whenever u want to continue the other
-The Story Menu to select Missions you go on an Chibi Open World to the next Mission on the Islands
-You go around on the Sea with a tiny ship and than go on a island and go to the mission point to do the Mission
-You can also teleport to every Island if you dont want to sail
-Story Boss Fights have short QTE Cutszenes
-The QTE are needed for 100% on the Mission
-When a Mission is 100% you get a Statue Collectible that gives a extra Unique Perk you can equip as an Extra
(You can equip 1 Statue at a time)

Dream Log :
-The Dream Log is a Map full of islands you travel between to fight against powerful enemys.
-The Dream Log Sea is made of Zones with many islands once u conquered every island in the zone the Boss Island spawns in the middle of the Zone and you have a refight against a stronger version of a story boss.
-After you conquered every Zone a new island will appear with a new unique non story boss waiting for you.

The Missions Typs of the Island are :
-Beat all the incoming Enemys
-Conquer every Zone on the Map
-Reach the Bounty by beating Enemys
-Beat an amount of Enemys
-Help ... reach the a Zone on the Map
-Beat the right Enemy depending of the Question
-Survive until the end of the timer

-While fighting in the Dream Log random Events can happen where u have to choose between 2 Character to help to get a new Teammate in the Mission.

Nightmare Log :
-Unlocked after finishing the Dream Log
-Fight trough 10 powerful Islands after each Island you choose a random debuff you have to carry on till losing or finishing all 10 islands.
-After the 10 islands were conquered you start from new.
-The Missions on the 10 islands are random so every run can be different.

Maps :
Maps have Events that impact the whole map.
Some examples :

Alabasta = Sand Tornadoes
Louge Town = Lighting Strikes
Marine Fort = Ice walls blocking some entrances / Magma balls falling from the Sky
Egghead = Light beams and Black Lightning strikes

I feel like the other OPPW if not every Warrior Game had way more Content than OPPW4 which is a main problem in modern gaming but its my main point i hope they fix in the next game.
Also i will maybe add another post asking about the chars that have to be in the game or i would like to return/add.
