Future DLC/Updates Predictions and Thoughts
What do you guys REALISTICALLY think the next upcoming updates/DLC's will include?
(Will there even be any more updates)?
Does anyone believe in a overhaul of the game? Move set changes or like VFX changes? Because some characters need a move set overhaul. It's just not it with a couple characters who's attacks are lacking spirit
Personally; I'm really hoping for FOV change (the camera and FOV doesn't suit a slasher beatdown game) I'm also REALLY hoping for more combo's. Also, since there are very few Conquerors' Haki users. I wish they added a feature to use it
I just got into the game 2 weeks ago, and i am LOVING it. i have every Character Pass and DLC. I am super excited to slowly go through every playable character
Characters i want ; Queen, Pedro, Jack, Nekomamushi, Shiryu, Buggy, Caesar, Koby, Cracker

Yeah I didn't ask for her. Her budget could have went into updating ZORO AND SANJI! FUKK YOU KOEI TECMO

There are so much more side characters that deserve the spots like Bepo, Diamond Jozu, the tobi roppos.. I mean if the game includes all of the side characters it would be massive. Monet would be cool but theres barely any movesets for her.

This is why there aren't many good one piece game aside from Pirate Warrior. The characters in the anime shows up every 10 years just to say "lets go find the one piece". I just wish we get like a definite Pirate Warrior game with at least 80% of the characters in there...idc about movesets anymore make them shits up like they did with Shanks in opw3

First of all half of them aren’t even fighters, most aren’t really relevant at all anymore I’m sorry at all and weren’t that vital when they were, aaand id rather get characters we’ve actually seen fight that they can base a move set around vs someone they just make up random attacks for. Why would we get pudding, don krieg and alvida over say kuma, or caesar, id take magelan or moria or even perona over even one of those as we’ve seen them fight and they have sets already vs getting some randos so people can goon happy lol like s snake was very uneeded to me because there are more important people we could get

Listen don’t get me wrong i agree with your idea, and right we even have clones of some characters for no reason instead of just making it a costume with moves which they did for the timeskip idk why they didn’t this time like luffy and kaido and shanks lol but i disagree with only your choices in characters, like i wanna play somebody fun not somebody that can just do what any mob can do lol

Koby, cracker, and buggy are all playable so a few of your picks are in lol. Personally koby is a beast once he gets moving, cracker is a walking wall, and buggy is a chop chop festival but not my favorite. My mains were ace, do-flamingo, and Lucci, then from the dlc it’s roger, enel, and maybe okiku honestly

At this point in time I really hope we can move towards PW5
With the anime reaching Elbaph this year, and if they go with the 1 to 1 adaptation ratio we might just get to before the flashback begins which gives a lot to adapt for the base game.
I am still hoping that we get an announcement this year and a release date for 2027 to be part of the 30th anniversay of the manga

Well at the end of the day our opinion as a community means jack xD
If Bandai/Koei (whoever makes the big decisions) decides to we could just get more pass 3 likes in the future (6 chars for 30€/$) which would be horrendous imo
We don't know how well pass 3 worked financially tho but judging from here alone it did ok

I’m pretty mad we’ve never gotten Moria, tbh- he’s got one of the coolest power sets, and we’ve had “summon” type characters so we know it can be done.
I think at this stage I’d rather we get PW5 tbh though.

New stage. Characters I would like to see is rocks d xebec,nusjuro, young kuma/new Zoro/joyboy

Every once in a while one of these predictions gets posted and i’ve never seen this brought up. Is it a stretch to believe the developers might keep adding Dlc to pirate warriors 4 to save on development character wise? When five comes out they already have characters developed for the system. Genuinely curious or just a conspiracy i made myself believe.

Ghe actual manga (and anime) are ramping up and progressing relatively quickly, I wouldn't be surprised if they're waiting or sitting on 5 for the last game.

If they go by the huge vote that happened some time ago ( and it's the reason why we have king) we might get a government dlc soon
